Well said Sir! And I agree, I just really need to make some adjustments and fine tune some things. Itll happen. Thanks

We just drove to pickup a dog we adopted and it went later than expected. Chickfila for me tonight. There went the deficit for the day! :)

Damn, I had my cheat last night. Peanut Butter and Jelly Bacon Cheese Burger, fries and beer battered onion rings. Now I want more haha

Today's weigh in
208.5 :D

Great work brother! You are getting it done!

My weigh in today was 169.4, which is a new low for me, but not where I should be. When I started I was 177, but that was after a cheat and I was 176 the next day so I use that as my starting weight. I'm almost 3 weeks in and I should be down 9 pounds. Still happy with almost 7, and things seem to be picking up so who knows...

Thanks bro! Your progress is amazing. Love keeping one another going. This is the best pre and post wo ever. :)

You guys are both killing it!!
I took yesterday off, as my wife wanted to go to several Antique Malls. Will be making up for it today, though. Weighing in tomorrow morning to see where I'm at.

Honestly, if you have a fitbit, it may give you some unexpected data. When I got mine I thought.. what do I want this for? I already workout and diet anyway. But the data has opened my eyes to a lot of things.

And one of those things is, I don't walk very much. Some days I will go less than a mile. Walking around malls, etc. And shopping with my gf is a good way to burn easy calories. So you aren't off even when you are off, haha.

That also burns through your wallet
But my wife has the attachment that goes around her chest that monitors more things

I have too many ideas for my upcoming cut. I just peaked last Friday (as in, two days ago) and I'm thinking of many possibilities. I am wondering if I should do a deload week mostly of what I've picked up from CT known as "neural charge workouts" followed by a 7-8 day PSMF into a 750 cal deficit (meaning the PSMF will kickstart my diet) or if I should just diet the traditional way. Decisions decisions....I have Lipodrene Hardcore (DMAA) to really boost me during those 7-8 days of PSMF and I want to really test the power of it, haha. I've never used DMAA before so I'm looking forward to the hype. Currently only using staples right now (200mg caffeine, vitamin d3, zma, gut health, and fish oil)

209.0 this morning, down from last week 215.4. Still just trying to catch up to the insane pace HIT4ME is setting! Keep killing it brother, you're my inspiration! :)

Got done with a 48 hours fire department shift this morning, and start another 48 tomorrow morning, so other than going to the woods to move a couple stands, this guy is taking the day off. Did get a run in yesterday, but less than a mile. Just tired from running calls all night the night before. Looking forward to tomorrow, as its going to be a good lift day, and I am going to start beating on the heavy bag in the evenings for 2 a days!! Good work so far everyone, happy to be in this thread!!

Well done!

Yes but you have got to quit using your Firehouse requests as excuses to sabotage your progress man. Own up to what you are doing. Recognize it as an excuse so you can eat yummy grub too and cut that sh!t out! You make the burgers for them and that is great. However for you, the person who committed to your diet and health should choose to eat a naked patty while the rest of the firehouse boys appreciate your kindness.

Not trying to be a d1ck here just this is the 3rd or 4rth time you have said this in 3 weeks. You act like self accountability is impossible just because you cooked the food so you have to eat it. Not so. Those are excuses call them out for what they are so next time you realize you are choosing to be weak if you partake. Way too much patting on the back and Awww that's okay going on in here for a thread we should be motivating each other and calling each other out on taking the easy way out. Remain accountable and those here who care about you should say what needs to be said to help you in that aspect. If me saying any of this frustrates or pisses you off then that is EXCELLENT!!! Use that to fuel your resolve to not give in to the temptation. That or man up and tell the boys. Sorry I am dieting someone else is going to have to cook or we eating chicken breast and rice tonight.

You run into fires for a living, that sh1t is hard to do, so it is not about mental toughness but where you choose to employ your mental toughness. Apply it to your goals also.

Chick Fila has excellent low calorie options. Could have definitely held on to the deficit if you wanted to.

Excellent, I see you are willing to work harder, apply that to the dietary resolve too and watch your progress increase.

Sorry if people think I am being a douche here today, just woke up with an allergy to excuses this morning. This thread was made as a hardcore challenge, no one should be having ANY CHEAT MEALS! It's fugging 6 weeks guys... A scheduled refeed certainly is a tool to be used but that is not what is going on in here and yet everyone keeps patting people on the back and reassuring it is okay when they are making failure inducing decisions. One accidental cheat meal or slip is acceptable, more than one in a deal like this shows lack of commitment and continues the exact pattern that got us out of shape in the first place.

Originally this was to be a challenge accountability thread, but it has become a cheerleading thread. You ever notice at the games Cheerleaders cheer no matter how bad their team is performing. They offer no way to improve or fix anything they just cheer them on blindly... Let's lift people up in this thread but let's hold them accountable as well.

No arguments here, brother. Maybe I should have made it more clear on my post, though. My plan all along has been to run that high deficit but to allow one or two cheat meals like that spicy deluxe I had yesterday.

My thought process is the zig zag to keep the body guessing rather than normalize itself to that level. And the 1-2 cheats allows me flexibility when it comes to real life situations.

I won't argue that I couldn't be 100% locked down and eat perfectly planned meals every time. I've done that too. Just not what I'm trying out at the moment.

So far, my plan is working towards my goals as I'm down quite a few lbs this week.

Appreciate the tough love, and apologize if my cheat meal mention caused anyone to slip on their own goals!

Makes perfect sense if part of your plan. I just want to make sure people get accountability from this thread too. Secretly it is what people want even when they get offended at first.

I am sure that we all have a plan for this weight loss challenge. Today I am hitting shoulders and back.
Protein shake, hamburger, fries and a gallon of water, and Tomorrow I will be doing cardio 7miles.
Also I will be eating Oatmeal,Bake chicken breast, Fish, Broccoli, and a gallon of water Monday-Friday.

HIT4ME, how much cardio you will be doing in your upcoming cut?

Me? My cut isn't upcoming ...it is in full force. And how much cardio am I doing?

All of it.

Had a pretty decent workout this morning. Modified push routine (it's Sunday, so basically the things I like doing!)

Warmup 3 x 15 (5 reg, 5 wide, 5 narrow) pushup
Incline DB 3 x 18 (6 pronated, 6 neutral, 6 supinated) - 30 lb

Seated Barbel Press (smith machine) 3 x 12 (120, 130, 120)

Seated Lateral Rise DB Raise 3 x 12 - 20 lb

Incline DB Bench Press 3 x 8 (75, 75, 70 lb)

Incline Cable Fly 3 x 8 - 40 lb

High Cable Crossover 3 x 8 - 40 lb

20 minutes abs and 30 minutes stationary bike.

Also, played around with some legs to see what I'm able to do. Obviously calf raises are no bueno, and squats are out, but I can tweak my foot placement on the seated leg press machine with no pain. Leg extension, leg curls and the abductor machines are all ok, so I'll just have to make some changes to my leg routine for the next 4 - 6 weeks.

Post workout meal = USPLabs Chocolate, 8 ounces water, handful of ice cubes and a banana. That'll be it today until fish tacos tonight.

Wife is at work today and it's kinda rainy, so I'm pretty sure I'll end up back at the gym later this afternoon for ****s and giggles.

Solid workout my man.

Good stuff going on in here. I am in. Even though I am on the opposite side of the equation (putting my weight back on) it is highly motivating seeing a lot of hardwork going on in this thread
