Today's weigh in
208.5![]()
Great work brother! You are getting it done!
My weigh in today was 169.4, which is a new low for me, but not where I should be. When I started I was 177, but that was after a cheat and I was 176 the next day so I use that as my starting weight. I'm almost 3 weeks in and I should be down 9 pounds. Still happy with almost 7, and things seem to be picking up so who knows...
You guys are both killing it!!
I took yesterday off, as my wife wanted to go to several Antique Malls. Will be making up for it today, though. Weighing in tomorrow morning to see where I'm at.
Honestly, if you have a fitbit, it may give you some unexpected data. When I got mine I thought.. what do I want this for? I already workout and diet anyway. But the data has opened my eyes to a lot of things.
And one of those things is, I don't walk very much. Some days I will go less than a mile. Walking around malls, etc. And shopping with my gf is a good way to burn easy calories. So you aren't off even when you are off, haha.
Well done!Right Pic March 16. Left Picture September 16.Invalid Link Removed
Yes but you have got to quit using your Firehouse requests as excuses to sabotage your progress man. Own up to what you are doing. Recognize it as an excuse so you can eat yummy grub too and cut that sh!t out! You make the burgers for them and that is great. However for you, the person who committed to your diet and health should choose to eat a naked patty while the rest of the firehouse boys appreciate your kindness.Well said Sir! And I agree, I just really need to make some adjustments and fine tune some things. Itll happen. Thanks
Chick Fila has excellent low calorie options. Could have definitely held on to the deficit if you wanted to.We just drove to pickup a dog we adopted and it went later than expected. Chickfila for me tonight. There went the deficit for the day!![]()
Excellent, I see you are willing to work harder, apply that to the dietary resolve too and watch your progress increase.Got done with a 48 hours fire department shift this morning, and start another 48 tomorrow morning, so other than going to the woods to move a couple stands, this guy is taking the day off. Did get a run in yesterday, but less than a mile. Just tired from running calls all night the night before. Looking forward to tomorrow, as its going to be a good lift day, and I am going to start beating on the heavy bag in the evenings for 2 a days!! Good work so far everyone, happy to be in this thread!!
No arguments here, brother. Maybe I should have made it more clear on my post, though. My plan all along has been to run that high deficit but to allow one or two cheat meals like that spicy deluxe I had yesterday.Sorry if people think I am being a douche here today, just woke up with an allergy to excuses this morning. This thread was made as a hardcore challenge, no one should be having ANY CHEAT MEALS! It's fugging 6 weeks guys... A scheduled refeed certainly is a tool to be used but that is not what is going on in here and yet everyone keeps patting people on the back and reassuring it is okay when they are making failure inducing decisions. One accidental cheat meal or slip is acceptable, more than one in a deal like this shows lack of commitment and continues the exact pattern that got us out of shape in the first place.
HIT4ME, how much cardio you will be doing in your upcoming cut?
Had a pretty decent workout this morning. Modified push routine (it's Sunday, so basically the things I like doing!)
Warmup 3 x 15 (5 reg, 5 wide, 5 narrow) pushup
Incline DB 3 x 18 (6 pronated, 6 neutral, 6 supinated) - 30 lb
Seated Barbel Press (smith machine) 3 x 12 (120, 130, 120)
Seated Lateral Rise DB Raise 3 x 12 - 20 lb
Incline DB Bench Press 3 x 8 (75, 75, 70 lb)
Incline Cable Fly 3 x 8 - 40 lb
High Cable Crossover 3 x 8 - 40 lb
20 minutes abs and 30 minutes stationary bike.
Also, played around with some legs to see what I'm able to do. Obviously calf raises are no bueno, and squats are out, but I can tweak my foot placement on the seated leg press machine with no pain. Leg extension, leg curls and the abductor machines are all ok, so I'll just have to make some changes to my leg routine for the next 4 - 6 weeks.
Post workout meal = USPLabs Chocolate, 8 ounces water, handful of ice cubes and a banana. That'll be it today until fish tacos tonight.
Wife is at work today and it's kinda rainy, so I'm pretty sure I'll end up back at the gym later this afternoon for ****s and giggles.
Lmao. Sweet.Me? My cut isn't upcoming ...it is in full force. And how much cardio am I doing?
All of it.
