41 weeks from runner-up to 1st. Distilled Water workout log to victory

I think I may start throwing in some fasted cardio. Now, as it sits, I hit snooze a few times and I get up and am sleepy. I'm in bed regular time but it have no reason to wake up and get my day going, so I don't.

May sound odd but 30min in the morning (not on leg days) can only help body composition. I think I'll start this Tuesday

Fasted cardio on lift days too? Or just off days?

Hey congrats on the rep gig man need to catch up on your thread just wanted to say that first

Probably every day but leg day, may even do it on leg day. I'm pretty anal about my routines. It may turn out to be easier to do mon-fri, as long as performance lifting doesn't suffer.

Thanks matty!

Hmm yeah I was thinking about this as well. The idea behind fasted cardio you use fat stores as energy, so even if you end up in a caloric surplus later that day you still burned some fat while u were fasted right. So doing so could possibly keep you pretty lean during a bulk.. I was thinking of adding it on my lift days but I wasn't sure if I would split it into am pm or just lift right after the cardio.

One thing Donte has said about DC, eat like you're 250 and do cardio like you're 8%. Maybe not exactly those words but similar.

Yes, with carb cut offs, that's the idea. Old school train of thought b

I thought morning (fasted) walks were the only DC approved cardio? Not being argumentative at all just curious...

Post workout cardio is approved (in contest prep 2 my knowledge). Youre right, Fasted LISS is the preferred method of cardio, for sure.

I had only been doing afternoon cardio on off days and fasted on weekends. I'm looking at going exclusively fasted cardio for a while.

Yo bro, ever thought about trying Clenviscerate? Specially for the abs o.O?? I wanna hear your take on this.

It is, if I ever do cardio it fasted, although I have not been doing it on my weight lifting days.

Nope, trying this DermaTherm now is the first I've messed with Topicals in a while. Other than that, its extremely limited. It's been about 2 weeks on DermaTherm, so far nothing crazy (I think, I'll measure and take pics Tuesday)

Never tried dermatherm honestly, last time I had a good noticeable six pack was thanks to a combo of:

Oxy Elite Pro + Erase + Alpha T2 + Eviscerate Smolder

So thought I could give it a try if push comes to shove and I have trouble getting rid of the little fat deposits my "lean" bulk left me with.

Looking forward to knowing your honest opinion on DermaTherm Mr.USP! :p!!

Haha this guy ^^^^^

Not a bad plan, I want a 6 pack without flexing. That's the goal with this DermaTherm and my recomp. Looking at another 6 weeks maybe, there's a lot in the bottle. I'm going to recomp until I out of DermaTherm.

Dermatherm has the same carrier as eviscerate if I am not mistaken , add 40mcg of clen twice daily at some point...2 days on and 2 days off haha, so says the Clenviscerate Bible:

That could yield a good un-flexed six pack!

Normally, I'd jump on it. However, Matt hooked this up so I wanna give feedback of just the DermaTherm.

Cut out lactose this week. No more cheese for me. My diet has also changed a bit. Just food choices but I'll stay on this for about another 2 weeks then change food choices again. It's actually similar to Palumbo Diet, no shakes though.

Meal 1:
4 whole eggs
4 egg whites

Meal 2:
1.5 cans tuna w EVOO Mayo
2t EVOO

Meal 3:
10oz chicken
3 cups broccoli
2 tbs EVOO (cooked food in)

Meal 4:
Same as 2

Meal 5:
8 oz steak
4 cups spinach w 2tbs olive & vinagar
2 cups broccoli

Meal 6:
4 whole eggs
2 egg whites

Oh I didn't know , I'm all up for respecting when someone sponsors me too! You finish this , and then we run a run of Clenviscerate later or DermaClen and see how it treats us hahaha and who gets better abs xD

Sweet. May want to pick your brain about some dc stuff at some point

Heck yeah! With frank in here too, you've got all bases covered with DC.

30min LISS cardio this morning, feeling great. I think I may keep this up indefinitely. Starts my work day off better & should assure staying "lean" year round.

First round of DC workout A will commence today & means switching shoulder exercises back to pressing!!!!!

Yo, I didn't know the switcharoo to DC was happening. What a coincidence ... I was kind of planning on doing the same thing as well! I just need to figure out gym/training partner situation first.

I don't use a training partner anymore, mostly bc they suck.

Only a few ppl I've ever trained with are good workout partners, only 1 that bought into DC. Thank goodness my gym has a lot of hammer strength, smith machines & cages.

Hammer strength and power racks are the way to go man i could never find a trainer partner that was commited. Except the wife but we do completely different routines

Thing is, I only really need a spotter for 3 lifts: incline bench, decline bench, and sometimes close grip bench (concentric failure on tricep work is not pretty, LOL). I can definitely find a way around the CGBP, like using the smith, but I'd still like to do those other 2 movements in my routine without a smith machine.

Please tell me what LISS means? lol
I have wondered this the entire time.
Just gonna go ahead and look dumb and ask.

thats what I thought. lol.

I wish mine had a few cages. I could do everything without anyone's help. ... The way I like it to be honest.

low intensity steady state

Like others have said, why not just do those in a power rack/cage? Honestly it is better because you can set the bench angle to more subtle angles VS the extremely steep incline/decline on most bench stations. I love doing some low incline/low decline presses.

Nice low incline like this(but in the cage)

Yeah, my incline smith isn't traditional incline. Slightly lower angle but bar is over my throat more. Kills upper chest & is less strain on my shoulders.

Dont know about blod sugar but ephedrine will decrease blood pressure.... honestly good for any cycle...

Yeah you know, like Ben Stein? Lol friggen auto correct. Stronger!!!!

Lol ok... makes sense now....

You know like Steiner effect!? :)

But that makrs sense... i dunno if stimulants would have more effect with low blood sugar...

I guess same thing with no food in your stumach huh?

Look up low blood glucose & stimulants. It increases the symptoms of low blood sugar, & insulin slows down the digestion of stuff. If you drink, try using a diet drink as a mixer & let me know how much quicker you get drunk.

On a keto, your blood sugar is obviously lower than if you ingest carbs. I notice an acute difference from my cup of coffee on keto vs. regular diet methods.

I may do an experiment, hmmmm. Next week do blood glucose levels then take Herat rate reading very few minutes and do the same on a more traditional diet.

Decent workout today, I got busy at work and missed a meal so when I was working out, I was starving!!!!

Hammer machine preacher curl
70x17RP

DB Pinwheel Curls
40x12SS

Seated Leg Curl
130x23RP

Low Stance Leg Press
315x13
285x20
* need to feel this out more, just kept hitting reps!

No cardio at all today, looking forward to my carb up 2maro. Didn't have any intra carbs today either.

Can't believe I've been on keto for 4 weeks now, crazy how time flys. I planned on only going 6 weeks keto but this recomp is going extremely well so I may draw it out further with slightly more focus on lean mass. More carbs intra & slightly more calories for the day. Carb loads will stay the same

Diet has a slight change to it, bought some protein & macadamia oil this evening so those tuna meals will now be 40gr protein & 1tbs oil. Everything else will stay the same. Really just trying to cut the sodium down, eating the tuna was an additional 1.5gr of sodium!

What did you go with for protein?

Picked up 5lbs of some choc mint Pro Forza? It's the nutri-shop brand, kid gave me a sample and I think it's delicious & low carb. It was $60 for 60 servings but Beverly's was the same $$$ and less protein per scoop (21 v. 30)

I wanted to go with a truenutrition blend but its just easier to go to a few minutes down the road haha

Gotta love the widow makers lol!

For calves I've read a few different counts. What are you doing? I've read hold 8 down 6, and hold 12 down 6 or some **** like that...

GUARANTEED! Depending on people is an unnecessary frustration.
