Nice workouts man. The 2 sec contraction at the bottom is bad ass my legs have grown 2 inches since I started that. I do all my squats now 4-2-1-1 weight doesnt matter with that tempo.
My powerlifting coach got me doing this now...slow down , stay sitting my ass down for 2-3 secs, and then I have to explode up...I was so humbled with squats, my weights went down so bad to be able to do this.

On top of that, the mofo wants me to add BANDS to that to get stronger and faster! If it works, I'll love the guy forever, if it doesn't, I'll be angry haha

Cookies & cream UMP is best on the market, IMO. Muscle Provider is good too, both flavors. I'm not a fan of choc UMP, to be honest. Never tried their choc Mass Maker either but LOVE vanilla (which I have to drink for my carb up :-D)

I know they came out with a new protein, I haven't had that. Now that I have a well paying job, they're the only company I buy protein from unless a local shoppe is having a sale bc their taste is THAT good. Since prep started I've gone through about 20lbs of cookies and cream UMP and have 2 unopened tubs, lol

I know brother :( but god damn...it hurts like a b1tch!

Distilled, I get so much pain on my abductors due to lack of Flexibility, I had lacked a lot of it and have been developing it by stretching and doing proper form. Sit on the heels, and remember to drive and PUSH with the hip, like literally move your hips forward, I learned how to do that with "Bridges" aka "Hip Thrusts" on the ground with a barbell.

Even if it is a marathon...I just want to be doing something that PROVES results, and ATG damn!! seems like it is doing progress so far, but haha my ego and my hips hurt!!

Do your guys heels come off the ground when going a$$ to grass, if I sit back it kills my hips. This is a new problem and I don't like it, input a board under my heels
I had a similar problem where my weight would shift forward to my toes and strain my knees. Solution was low box squats and 2.5lb plates under my toes for a few weeks. How wide is your stance? maybe you need to open up a bit more

Yeah, I am a fan of their cinnabon. Worked out a deal with them while I was coaching, had a lot of my guys on their protein. I like the cookies & cream more though
hmm and beverly one ups the trutein in your opinion? I am hooked on the trutein but am open for new things

I've been moving for the past 3 hrs, moving to a new apt with my mom. I'm freaking gas'd!!!! My legs are friggen sore too and lucky me I get to move up stairs too.

If I had any bit of glycogen in my muscles, it'll be gone by today. I think I'm going to take another scoop of micro jacked, I need a second wind. Maybe a nap too, mmmm.

Had to carb up today. Heavy moving for 8 hrs drained me. Not huge, only about 200-250. I'm going to rehydrate tonight & hit some HIIT cardio in the morning help with ketosis. Back on the grind 2maro....
gonna give the HIIT a try? what made you decide that?

I'm sore AF today, my entire body! I'm not very bloated though, pretty full looking. Probably bc I'm dehydrated from moving in 100degree weather.

Excited my DermaTherm target will be here 2maro! Weight is staying strong at around 180 so I'm feeling good. Excited to smash on carbs next Saturday too! Since I had some this weekend, I'll do a depletion workout 1st thing Saturday morning, fasted with some BCAA's.

I'll have about 50gr WMS 1st thing post workout. Starting my experiment of my reaction to carb sources.

Then I'll have, probably 500gr carbs for the day.

Well, I'm more sore today than yesterday. My friggen calfs are tight.

Get to work this morning and our server is down, miserable start to the work week. We order on Tuesday mornings so this is when I have a chance to get everything done (when were not busy) annnnnd here I sit. Today, feels like its going to be a sh!tty day.

3 weeks and 3 days til vacation, guess I can look forward to that?!?!?

Had 8oz sirloin cooked in 2TBS olive Oil and 4 cups of broccoli. Wow, it was delicious. Hunger is subsiding, it's still pretty bad in the morning but after I start eating I'm feeling pretty good. I also added more greens today so that may be it, 4 cups spinach with meal 1.

Pretty stoked bc I sit between 179-186 right now. So far recomp is going well. I figure I'll weigh in Saturday morning before my depletion workout. I'm also going to try out SPP Glycomex post workout, 1 scoop. If it goes well I may try that intra next week.

Thanks man, can't wait til I start really trying to add size! I put a lot of size on them last year with DC, I was using a little higher rep range prior. When I stuck with 11-15 and full stretches at the bottom and good negatives, they really seemed to grow. Weight used was down but hell 18", who gives a sh!t If you're curling 30's or 60's!?!?!?

Yeah, I am a true believer in form over time will make you grow. Not too many people in the gym practice their form, well at least not where I lift, but the ones that do seem to be the ones who grow the fastest. I gotta go read up on the rep ranges for diff exercises when I get home from DC, I am starting light like you had told me to, but in a few weeks I wanna make sure I am hitting the right reccommended rep ranges on everything.

Made breakfast a little different today to add more fat.

6 whole eggs
3 cups spinach
1/2cup cheese
-cooked in almond oil
1/4 cup raw almonds

I'll probably stick with this, more fiber ~8gr and 4 net carbs.

Moms all set and I took the entire day off work so I'll probably go train in about an hour or so, legs feel good today.

Bought some macadamia nuts too, they're pretty good. High fat 21gr and 1 net carb, perfect! I feel like I'm not getting enough fat. It's hard to do in this 8hr window

Yeah I'm on a keto diet, lol. Next week I'll start with about 60gr carbs intra workout and adjust from there. I'm loading up this Saturday, I'll probably shoot for ~500gr

Got cable put in today too, guy installing said "hey man, might sound weird, buuuut what the heck supp's do you take?!?!" lol he was younger, probably 18-20, but a nice ego boost for legs session today haha
Haha nice, it always feels good when someone asks for advice, kind of makes you think you got to be doing something right.

Dinner tonight was pretty awesome.

6oz chicken marinated in Evoo, lightly dipped in ranch seasoning
-then cooked in EVOO
1/2 bag of broccoli
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Then topped with about 1tbs of ranch dressing, drizzled on top

Wow, it was amazing and only ~3 net carbs! A lot of fat, which I feel I was lacking and still a good amount of protein.
