true.
my best friend, however, went from an overweight (always been a heavy, large guy, big bones, natural size type guy) 250 to a pretty cut 245 over the course of a few years. hes THE ONLY person ive ever seen lose that much fat and put on that much muscle at the same time (except when he tore his shoulder, he dropped down to like 195, then back up within a few months). it was like his fat was turning to muscle lol. plus, he went from benching like 205-maybe 225 (without working out is impressive as hell imo) to 405 over the course of those few years too.
having good genetic must be nice, i wonder what its like haha. i always joke with him (well, its technically NOT a joke) that hes gained twice the muscle and twice the strength as i in half the time.
my other friend used to be able to eat like 3 meals a day, drink 1 protein shake (probably 2k calories a day) in high school and put on size and strength like he was on steroids... it was insane. he was bigger and stronger in high school than most people our age now (he's torn his rotator cuff 3 times so he doesnt workout for strength or very hard anymore), and he followed NO DIET WHATSOEVER. he would eat a big mac and stuff like that a couple times a day and put on LBM like no ones business....
some people are just crazy with genetics.... sorry for the tangent haha
