2 DAYS ON RECREATE/PWFULL/AP-feeling like an alpha FE-MALE !!!

Nice to see you shaddow, I'd been wondering what you've been up to.

V! :wavey:

I'm back from my top secret mission. Had to take some time off from things and disappear for a while, but it's good to be back. :)

Now to get myself back in order... It's a shame what a few months off from training and diet will do your physique. :poke: :frustrate

It's more about taking a larger dose to manage a larger amount of CHO over an extended period of time - not in one sitting.

EXACTLY !

If I was going to use this amount, I would have 90g CHO (WMS/DEX) in a shake and start sipping 30min PreWO (20%) - continue sipping (60%) intraWO then knock the rest back(20%). Remember that the P-SLin is in shake and ingested over a 90min window.

Similar to what I'm doing at the moment :D

By the end of your workout, your body would have used a % of the simple CHO however is still primed to accept more (weight dependant) throughout the day - it's the next two meals that can still have a significant amount of CHO (for me 40g 1hr postWO complex) then again 2-2.5hr postWO complex)

. . .but I only reserve this protocol for CNS-taxing heavy-arse strength work, which cycles around every 4 months for me :bandit: It's aimed at intraWO and postWO recovery. And it works (for me!):biglaugh:

...which has been 4-5x/week for me, for the last... .... :dunno: .... :fool2:

Damn right SHADDOW !!!! :trout:

:) :welcome:

Shaddow must be approaching that 7.5% BF level... Gross!

7.5% for Shaddow would be like :donut:

Lucky for me I don't aim that high, I mean, LOW :icon_lol:

Speaking of which, SHOW-TIME :p

But in an alternate reality he hooks up with Sandra Bullock at the Lakehouse, you can't hate on that.

and I do believe Ms Bullock is well into her 30's :flirt:

And soooo, does that make her an old woman ? Invalid Link Removed

Who cares, I'm diggin' my 30's :nana: :biglaugh:

Who cares, I'm diggin' my 30's :nana: :biglaugh:

The 30's are the new 20's! (and pretty soon, they'll be the new teens..) :ntome:

I'm loving this decade of my life, best so far!

You're looking awesome DF! I know you just feel great about your accomplishment -- as you should! :chick:
Great work.

CHEERS to that Snag ! Invalid Link Removed

...and thanks, but accomplishments are only half way there :)

DFly, you could totally take on Sandra Bullock in a "Who looks better for their age?" contest.

and you could easily compete with the young 20's, easily.

The midsection looks fantastic! Your abs are noticeably improved since the last pictures I've seen. There are more lines, deeper lines and the obliques are the most prominent I've seen to date. Also, the vascularity you've got going on is pretty awesome.

Furthermore, you're smart as hell. Ode to the women down under.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to dragonfly again.

The humanity! I'll make like the US treasury and send you an IOU.

I should just change my statement to, "DFly could easily crush Sandra Bullock in a 'who looks better' contest."

Great work.

Damn straight! On all three! Im about to graduate into the +35 section - we can show these 'young bucks' a thing or too! :bandit:

Damn, good work... Even got the ribs peeking out!!! Definitely can tell that you put a lot of oblique work in, and your shoulders are nasty as usual.

Definitely going to be taking some pointers from you in the coming months. Timber is going to try his first ever bodybuilder inspired cut, instead of the 2 muscle milk shake, 1 whey shake, 2 eggs, 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwhich crash fighter diet..

DAY 169

Yesterday was a LAZY DAY Invalid Link Removed as planned :)

Today was  day

CHEST, BIS & TRIS

THE ORIGINAL SET-UP ....

1. Bench Press sups
2. BB Bicep Curls

3. Narrow Grip Ez-bar Press sups
4. Hammer Curls

5. Unilateral Cable Bi Curls sups
6. Unilateral Cable Tri Pulldowns

....HAS BEEN MODIFIED:

1. Bench Press sups....10 sets, reps 6-10
2. BB Bicep Curls........10 sets, reps 6-10

3. BW Dips sups.........5 sets, reps 8
4. Hammer Curls.........5 sets, reps 8

5. BW Chins sups.......5 sets, reps 8
6. Plate extensions.....5 sets, reps 16

* Lifted heavier than expected, all close to 90% max with noticeable improvement in BB & Hammer's :biglaugh:

* Previous workout I had to rest pause A LOT within working sets. This workout was a blast, breezed through the past weight and then stacked up some more

SUPPLEMENT NOTES:

* Ever since I've increased Dextrose/Creatine/GlycerGrow from:

20g/5g/3scoops (8.3g) ------> 40g/10g/6scoops (16.6g)

* I've felt less pumped and more heavy in the stomach :grumpy: Think it was just an overkill to double everything and it obviously obviously interfered with absorption of nutrients , leaving more of the stuff sitting at the bottom of my stomach and less flowing in the blood. So...I'll try the "middle grounds" next time around : 30g/7.5g/4scoops

* More is NOT always BETTER ;)

 You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to jakellpet again.

We do what we MUST :puppy_dog_eyes: to be the BEST we can be !

aw shucks DF!

How do you eat your seaweed? I eat the sushi sheets - just stuff em in my mouth and chew  I like the taste! I like wheatgrass too - I used to grow my own, but now that I work away it kinda dies on me.. . :dead:

...or in your case :poke: JKP... :bandit:

:biglaugh:

I do enjoy my little smokin' bandit - I don't know how I became so attached to him. :bandit:

Hey Im coming off DTHC - need a break from all this aggression - it's tiring! Added on 0.5kg though!

Just raw green powder Chlorella+Spirulina 3x/day, 10g Invalid Link Removed

Sushi sheets sound almost like a cheat treat

Have you been robbing supplement stores JKP ? :D

I am down with the dried seaweed as snacks, you don't even know. I buy the large 8x5 sheets and I chew it up like a milk cow grazing.

5 sets of pull ups! Nice. One of the most Rocky Balboa exercises I'd always admired was the behind the neck pull ups, which I am now loving (due to the drop in weight), and I'm going to start implementing my weight belt to strap on some added weight. Very excited stuff for me.

How are the abs lookin?

How are the abs lookin?

The abs are alright. WWIII on fat always ends up on the abdominal battleground as the last standing hedgimon. I'm pretty lean everywhere else, to the point that you would assume my abs would reflect the same type of leanness, but no, not quite yet.

Me too, but they tend to frown upon such activity here in the states.. :bandit:

it legal to grow 3-4 plants for your own consumption here - not sure about DF-land (QLD), but certainly WA.

Haha. The incredible, smokeable, herb. :) Me done with that, though. Talk about lethargy.

I hate the weed. Low-vibe. deadhead. waster. :31:

Mushrooms, now they're a bit more interesting. . . Mindful of that Strychnine though!
