I would like to be a rep...not to "receive products" but to spread knowledge...being overseas is hard but even saying

Couldn't agree more..

Been in close contact w a particular company which I have come to trust and love to use and spread the word about. Hopefully I'll be able to sig their name at some point in the future :)

I would love to be a rep for one of my fav companies but problem is, they all have awesome reps ahead of me lol and they are reputable and great guys

True. I would call myself the "stack master" I'm always coming up with crazy multi purpose stacks.. Getting 2 or 3 or 4 things to work synergistically to totally transform your body ! I love learning the science behind supps and how different ingredients/products play off Each other

Also came up with a FUNNY contest for a give away! Hopefully I can do it at some point lol

I would prefer to be a rep that did demos at different stores and gyms with samples and knowledge. That would be a great job for me seeing as I've been in the supplement industry for over 2 years now. Just hard to take the next step.

I'd love to do that.. Ppl always ask me how they can try samples of the company I constantly talk about.. I would also love to go around to smaller privately owned shops in my area and get them to carry my company if they aren't already!

Definitely man, generally I have samples of lots of stuff that I give out at the gym or at work if someone wants to try something before they buy it. I'm just not really tight with any companies sadly.

My company of choice does not have samples , and I'm not sure ppl want loosey pills outta my bottles haha

It's a turn off to say the least. I don't even like how the lacheek samples were packaged. OXyECA was in a pill bag and that **** was so strong I felt like it got swapped lol

I have that. Haven't tried it yet.. Saving it for one of "those days" but good to know,. I'm so stim tolerant
 
being a rep would be fun. especially since I cant seem to trnsfer to another forum like it here to much...

You would have to ask the company.
An intelligent rep would only join with a company because he's basically already repping for them. He is promoting supplements that have given good results and the only thing missing before becoming a rep is compensation.
When you see ten companies that all make the exact same f'n product though and their reps all say they're the best, that's really all just a matter of personal preference.
A bad rep, in my opinion, is someone that only pimps their own brand. I see reps do it all the time, they come into a thread to help a noob answer the question "what is the best natural test booster?" Or "I want to cut 3% body fat while gaining 10lbs muscle what do I buy?" And their answer is simply "[insert their company's product name here]"
To me that comes across as a few things:
Bullying, lack of intelligence, lack of EFFORT, lack of personal interest, and most of the time it gets translated in my eyes to "I'm just here for my rep package."
Its hard for a company to weed out the snakes, that's our job. I have actually PM'd a couple head reps before to make them aware of the poor representation that was happening in the forums.
Lastly, I would like to say I am one of the people who recently changed companies. I liked what I was doing, but there were a few factors that turned me off. I have since joined a new company and even though my comp right now is only a fraction of what I was seeing, I am much much happier now. The guys I work with are the sh!t and there is never a gap in communication nor is there any "snake oil" self promoting bullsh!t going on.

Genomyx was actually the first company I applied for. I am in love with Slin Sane and used Protocol frequently. Their requirements were brutal and their beginning rep pay was simply a discount at their store if I remember right, but I was still in. Unfortunately someone much much more knowledgeable than me got it lol.
I am happy where I'm at now though and wouldn't quit unless they fired my ass.
 
Its kind of funny how you see sometimes people having a new company in their signature and the next thing you know their pimpin' the sht out of a product you never saw them talking about, and I'm pretty sure in some cases never even tried out.

I think some companies seem to have rules about how many posts and how often they have to promote a product. I think it's worse on bb than on here by quite a bit.

Very interesting thread. The vast majority of reps on here are cool guys who do a great job. I always enjoy reps who talk about products other than their own companies. Really the only thing that bothers me is when they say crap like "Hey company X pre-workout/fat burner/AI/ is by far the most potent on the market." I'm calling that stuff out if I see it, but I don't mind people talking good about their companies products, after all that's what they are supposed to do. A little annoying if they are the first ones in every thread, but who knows :)

I cant be on there. I just cant do it. Its like a trainwreck - I wanna turn away but I cant when it happens. Its the largest (and most swayable) community but its also the one with the most nonsense. There are some forums where supplement reps are rather transparent. Personally Im glad they do exist - there's a lot of good small name companies out there that would go unnoticed that people would really like. I found a few staples from doing so.

Yeah, she's almost 2.5 years. It gets harder and harder to say no. She's definitely a daddy's girl. I wish I had that energy everyday, though. Haha!
