Well said Nabeshin. Let the slackers of the world think what they will - we've always held this place at a higher standard and its great that we're all trying to come to a consensus on how to keep it that way.

I was once accused of being a self-proclaimed mod for telling someone not to stack two unknown methyls  some people

Great posting Nab. Maybe we could have a sticky that outlines exactly what you need to post if you want help. Every time a newbie thread pops up, we link them to the sticky. Then it is up to them to follow through.

Exactly, a cycle log template. Go check out Matt CNW requirements for product testing in his forum. Then we add diet prerequesites i.e. macros, detailed meals and such...

This post does seem to be a [SIZE=-1]contradiction of what the boards main theme is, I for one have never done anything other than natural supplements, I like this board seems to have more knowledge than anywhere else.

I do think, if I would have posted this, I would be banned already.

Wrong! Bobo nor any other mod would ban anyone for this. It is a factual statement that needed to brought to everyones attention.

I don't understand this one at all because I agree with almost everything Beelzebub said.

Sometimes I just have to scratch my head and wonder why people think I ban a lot of people. The mod team is more trigger happy then me

This again. Lets clear something up. It is not always what you say (post) but how you say it. It is never out of line to politely and intelligently challenge or question the actions, opinions or motives of anyone, including a Mod (speaking strictly for myself of course) when you feel the need. It is when someone is disrespectful, rude or belligerent that they cross the line. Then, in most cases they are informed that they have found the line AND crossed it and get warned. Continued disregard for said warnings will result in banning. That and breaking board rules.

We are The Clowns hired henchmen. We do all his dirty work. But nobody puts out a contract or a makes hit without the Boss' approval :numbered:

It's not personal...it's business ;)

Im going to sticky this thread for a bit until we can write some 'What to do before you consider AAS use' stickies. Beelze's initial post would be a good read for newbie posters.

Yeah I see what you're saying but I'm just glad people are learning about how severe AAS is and how to do it safely.

I dont think its really all that severe if done properly, but there are too many kids that have been lifting for 6 months that just want to pop a pill and get huge. That's not the way it should be done, and hopefully spending time here at AM will show them the light:D

More posts in the Anabolics give the experienced and skilled more chances to guide the strays properly on how to succeed in the fold.

More posts in the Anabolics section made by people who want to jump into AAS use without proper attention to nutrition and training, as well as reflecting a complete inability to use the search engine do nothing except take up bandwidth.

Most of the threads we shut down can easily be answered with a search. The 'strays' who dont 'have time' to research their answers will see their threads quickly closed. The Experienced and the Skilled have better things to do with their time than answer the same question 500 times because some kid with his first bottle of Superdrol doesn't know what PCT is.

But most, as BV said, have only be lifting for a few months and should not be touching AAS for a while. Alot of guys come here and are 21-24yrs. and ask how to stack three steroids for the biggest muscle gain. And then you find out that they have only been lifting for two months and they eat pizza and fastfood five days out of the week.

And you tell them to wait. Then they go right ahead and do it anyways. We don't here from them for a few months(unless something goes wrong) and they come back on the board asking why the twenty pounds they gained never stayed.
You then ask about their PCT? "Uhh I used 6oxo for week after a twelve week test/deca/Abombs stack...Whaa that isn't enough?"

I do agree with the bandwith because of dollars, but also remember many of the anabolics are exposed and ridden by the Crusaders because of the kid with his first bottle of SD.

So the kid with his first bottle of SD should take it upon himself to learn what the hell he is doing before he takes it. We always offer that suggestion (in a more constructive manner) before we shut down the thread and tell him to go do his research.

The problem is that most of these kids dont care about that. They want the 'get big quick' magic pill without wanting to put in the hard work. Some of them will learn their lesson the hard way and come out of it all the wiser. Some will keep popping pills until they self destruct. You can tell the latter what is right and wrong until your blue in the face and they only listen to what they want to hear.

Look at the threads here. The people that express interest in doing things the right way are welcomed and everyone tries to help them out.

You're talking to the guy who was the designated drunk driver in High School because he was the only one with a car. Just close one eye..., you'll make it. I did and God only knows, I didn't, that's for sure... That's why we should always put on the kid gloves and do our best to help. BTW, this site does a great job at this. That's why I decided to start posting here. Nice to meet all of you.

replace 'more posts in the anabolics' with 'more posts in the nutrition subforum' and we're on the same page.

show me a natural guy with a perfect diet, that's potential.

show me a juiced up **** with a shitty diet; he's either a fat ass or a skinny punk.

I just met one today. He said "I can't gain muscle mass. I even tried juice." The guy is 25, 6'1", about 175. I asked how his diet was and he asked "What do I have to eat?" He wanted me to tell him a few foods that would pack it on for him. Always looking for the magic pill. :(

With the size of your back, the more pages the same, the better. Good luck with that pec. injury...

I am slowly leaning towards restricting this forum to users who has posted a certain number of times. I know it might cause some uneccesary posting but it seems cutting down on the BS posts in this section is becoming more important.

Maybe time as member rather than posts. Possibly just board supporters.

Of course they can read.

No. Its won't be a pay to post board which is what people will think.

In the quest for fairness, new members, like me, who know the necessities of Bodybuilding, would suffer. What about some kind of knowledge exam needing a score of say 90% needing to be passed before allowed entry?

To avoid cheating, the computer can consistently change the questions for each candidate. Follow up quizzes can be required until a certain time where a member gains tenure to this forum. Now THAT will get some learning into these youngsters and would be innovative for this site to say the least.

I definitely think everyone should be allowed to read and learn - Ill tell you though it seems like we get at least one 'astinine' post a day, at least. Its got nothing to do with someone being new, but its got everything to do with kids who dont want to put it any hard work to see results. That kind of mentality is spreading through our culture like a disease, and it doesnt just apply to bodybuilding.

That's why we should always put on the kid gloves and do our best to help..

And we do, by telling them to focus on nutrition and training before jumping into AAS use.

BTW, this site does a great job at this. That's why I decided to start posting here. Nice to meet all of you.

We try our best

You wouldnt really suffer, you'd just have to share your knowledge in other forums before you'd be allowed to post in anabolics.

We've discussed something similar to that. Its a great idea but would be difficult to implement. Bobo would be the man to elaborate on this.

BV

quizzes would be a unique idea. not sure how to implement it though. perhaps, some sort of prerequisite test that won't allow new guys to post until they have studied the AAS section and learned all they can from there. the test would have to be broad and cover a few areas as well.

If you know the necessties then spread it around first. Nobody suffers. Its a message board.

And there will be no exam.

And please lets give the new people SOME slack. I remember many first posts by some of the vets here and they were...interesting to say the least ;)

I will figure out something soon.

lol, yeah myself included. That was back when everyone thought ZMA was sufficient for PCT..remember that? ;)

I have only one problem w/ needing a certain post count to use the anabolics forum. Occasionally (maybe I should say rarely) a new guy will post a thread saying he just got a bottle of superdrol, he doesn't know what it is but it's supposed to be good, etc. And he then actually listens to the advice and decides not to use it at all, or at least not until a later date.

If we don't allow guys like this to post, we should at least have a new sticky in the forum. It's hard to make rules about exactly when someone you don't even know should or shouldn't start using hormones, but you could still say something like:

WARNING
-If you're under 21 you should not be using.
-If you've been training hard for less than x amount of time, you should not be using.
-If you've gained less than xlbs of lean mass naturally, you should not be using.
-If you don't know how many calories, grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fat you eat every day, you should not be using.
-If you don't know what PCT is you shouldn't even come close to using you fucking idiot.

Etc, etc, etc. OK, so you shouldn't call them idiots when you're trying to give them advise. It should make at least a few of the newbs think twice though, which is all we can really do.

Also, an updated sticky w/ profiles of the new designer steroids would be nice and should help clean up some of the repetitive posting. I know you said the stickies are up to us, but I'm really not qualified to make one like this.

Whatever policy I set, someone will always have a problem. Thats life.

As for stickies, I've heard many people suggest it and say they need to be updated but I haven't seen anyone do anything at all. In fact all I ever hear is we need more stickies but I don't see anyone doing it. If people make them, I will sticky them. I created the Nutrition forum and people barely use it. This forum is what you make of it. I don't see amny of the members that compained directing people anywhere. I see many of the complain then do nothing.

For now this thread is going to be closed until a decision has been made.

Ha ha. I can post anywhere I want because I am a Mod.

Sorry, just riling people up again..I'm a bad person:sad:
