    No harm in trying it and seeing the effects, I guess it's just a case of making sure you don't fill your body with the saturated fats. Obviously red meat has saturated fats but not sure how it compares potion size to portion size.

    Lots of saturated fat but it is generally lower carb, higher fats/protein. They are good though and hard to resist for sure! For me, I wouldnt use them but everyone is different. What about trail mix? Just make sure its nuts and fruit, no granola.

    The reason my macros are like that is simple. Too low carb and I just wont stick to the diet, feel like crap all the time. This is as low as I tend to go with carbs. Protein is nearly at 1lb/kg which I find optimal for me and I dont lose strength or size and fat is just filling in the rest...

    Damn 1600! Previously I could cut on 2300 without an issue, seems to be slowing now though, I'm a bit older... 30 this year so maybe its metabolism? I think I'll drop the cals, see what happens and if not much difference then I'll add more cardio.
