Beelze training log

agreed, but i was at a heavy metal concert (3 inches of blood, alabama thunderpussy, hatebreed, lamb of god). alcohol is a must to kill the pain of a real mosh pit.

lol, i'm not sure but i can easily see how that could happen. it wasn't a simple 'push pit', this was a fvcking 'brawl pit'. pushing never entered the equation. from the first note fists were being thrown, glad i had a little muay thai experience, that sh!t came in handy for close combat, i.e. knees and elbows. i got caught in the back of the head one time but it just stunned for a sec, didn't see the dirty motherfvcker that did it though.

****, this just motivates me to move up a weight class even more if your ass plans to hang around at my weight. I'm sitting at 205ish right now (just took a monster dump) and my training partners want me at 275 before I finish college.

lol, do it to it brutha. telling you now though, it ain't fun being that heavy.

shoulder is almost back to normal but i could still feel it on flat dumbbell, didn't slow me down much though, more cautious than anything.

flat dumbbell 2/3 - 125's x 8 (same)
military barbell 2/3 - 165 x 9 (same)
overhead rope pressdowns 2/3 - 200 x 8 (up 20lbs)
CG v-handle pulldowns 2/3 - 220 x 8 (up 20lbs)
deads - 455 x 2 (felt a tweak in my back, stopped there. wasn't heavy though.)

35 mins cardio

bumping all cardio sessions up by 5 mins from now on.

Damn B, you diced the fvck up.... you're going to give me a run for my money... You're doing a perfect job with this diet dude, you found what really works for you.

Wow you don't even look like the same guy! Ubi better watch out. Ab for ab your catching him.

What diet do you follow?

thanks all ;) getting there ubi, still about 20lbs to go i'm guessing.

crader, it's a variation of carb cycling that i tweaked. simply put, i alter between high carb and zero carb days. on weight training days i take in about 400 carbs (diet started at 600), and on cardio only days - zero carbs. on the zero days, i'll throw in a few different fat sources with my meals but still not exceeding 60 grams per day. protein is consistently between 400-450.

oh yeah,

50 mins cardio

negative KTW.. it's a phrase from two different movies, both cult classics.

Sugarpants, pretty soon we'll be able to put a block of cheese between our stomachs and grate cheese together. :D

hammer leg press 2/3 - 470 x 10 (up 1 rep)
one legged leg curl 2/3 - 90 x 8 (up 10lbs)
dumbbell preacher on perpendicular side 2/3 - 50's x 8 (same)
dumbbell wrist curls - 65's x 10
alt leg calf raises - (4) BW x max

35 mins cardio

stop making me look like an ass.

I didn't gentle friend,

Raimi used the term in his trilogy, so you were right. I just counted the OG as one, and Raimi's movies as two.

Back to Slimzebub's log.

I can imagine how those one leggers felt at that tempo. Strong weight to be moving that slow all around, Twigs. :D

Must be feeling pretty damn good accomplishing that goal combining the sexy with your already ridonkulous strength. Now you just need to get smarter. ;)

Slimzebub, lol. as for my 'twigs', surprisingly they haven't shrank much, as it appears that my upper body was holding a lot of unnecessary weight and everything appears proportionate now.

as for my smarts, that's why i'm in school ;) the 3.914 GPA isn't easy to improve on.

no, i stopped all the HIT sessions. figured they wouldn't be a wise idea in a calorie deficit. most sessions stick between 115-120 heartrate for the duration. not 'hard' by any means, but it's exhausting, especially at the start of the diet. nowadays, it just kind of flies by though. to keep my heartrate in that range requires a more substantial amount of speed than it did at 275lbs too. i remember my speed when starting out was in ~3.5, now it's at least 5.0 just to keep my heartrate in that zone.

ok cool im assuming your using a fancy nice heartrate monitor around your body and not the thing on the treadmills or something.

thats a really low heartrate isnt it wow esp doing exercise

no, it's right around 60% which is just right for fat loss. and no, i use the handles on the eliptical, they seem to work fine. just gotta take your hands off every once in a while or else it goes crazy. saw it jump to 180 a couple times, then plummet down to high 70's. i just chalk that up as a fvck up and it eventually balances out to my target HR.

anyhoo...

incline bench 2/3 - 245 x 6 (same, time to change this out)
hammer military 2/3 - 200 x 9 (up 2 reps)
flat skulls 2/3 - 85 x 7 (down 1 rep), cable pressdowns - (3) 150 x max
wide d-handle pulldowns 2/3 - 240 x 10 (up 2 reps)
dumbbell rows 2/3 - 125's x 10 (up 2 reps)
abs on extreme decline - 85lbs x 8
standing calves - (4) 200 x max (30 second breaks)

35 mins cardio

Your plumbing system thanks you. ;)

In my deepest voice, lookings sexy dude!!

Damn beelze you look great bro. Congrats on your awesome progress. Keep up the good work!

I just hope lil fella doesn't get all caught up on being lean like I did. I can't shake the "cut fairy" off my back......... and no, not that kind of fairy.. :D

Do your cheat days look anything like mine anymore B? Pancakes, captain crunch, pop tarts, beer?

thanks trauma, you ain't bad for a red sox fan :D

ubi, i think i have brutha. i like being lean, if that's what i'm considered to be now. and i plan to get leaner and stay there. i feel healthier, more confident, and better overall. as for cheat days, i don't really pig out anymore although i'll still eat a couple bad meals on those cheat days and call it quits. hell, i'll occasionally **** up during the week from time to time, but doesn't seem to hurt me too much. beer, however, is a required protocol on cheat days, especially now that sam adams octoberfest is back.

I guess yankee and red sox fans can coexist ;) I see you also enjoy my favorite beer......sam adams octoberfest, the beer of the gods!! Again great work bro, can't believe i didn't see this log earlier.

thanks trauma. gotta remember to stock up on octoberfest this year, it snuck away from me last year when i only had 2 left.
