There's subtle signals you may or may not be aware you're giving off that can let the guy know you notice him. Granted they might not always be taken in the way they're intended, they're still being sent.

And the ones who do initiate tend to be the drunk and fat ones with very little clothing :run: I've only had 2 good looking chicks approach me in my life while they were sober but I will say that there is something extremely attractive about a good looking woman who approaches a man.

Isn't that kinda like Playin' Games and such...I mean If you wanna talk to someone you should go talk to them,why play games about who should approach who,No offense but I havn't heard stuff like that since Highschool,I very much dislike chicks who play games...I'm a grown man,no time for games here.

I'm speaking more of people in general,not you specifically ..

Amen on the "playing games" mantra.

I think what she's getting at the toughest move to make is to make the first move. Because she's a girl, you shouldn't expect her to "Man up" and make that move. "Manning up" should be your department; otherwise, you're gonna be the chick in this relationship.

You could be right,I took it more alongs the lines of she's saying,I'm too smokin' hot and don't have to approach guys,etc...I guess I shouldn't assume,you could be right.

exactly (and most girls that i've noticed that do come up to guys are desparate). its not my job, dont be a pussy :)

and i cant stand girls who are mean stuck up *****es. no point in being cruel in life.

im a very confused person sometimes. In general im a very traditional girl:
-like to have doors opened for me
-like to be fully financially supported and men are the breadwinners
-like my men to be in charge
-cooking and cleaning is my duty versus the yard is a man's thing
-men when first dating are supposed to pay for everything, unless i offer to help
-ladies first
-women take care of the children (but dont give their husbands **** for being the ones that have to do it)

but, i also like to have an actual career because im too much of a realist for my own good:
-i could become widowed
-possibly divorced

and if i didnt get a good career to begin with i'd become a professional waitress at the age of 40 with freakin 4 children and that, would SUCK.

the only person you can truly count on in this life is yourself.

You do realize that most of the things in that first category are in inverse proportions to the amount of respect you will earn?

Doing something for someone because I like to do it (holding doors, etc) is way different than it being expected.

Granted the paranoid banterings of Phyllis Schlalfly hold very little grounds in my book, I still think the ERA had some flaws to it, which prevented it from ever being passed. The part I liked of the bill was that women would get the same recognition for accomplishing the same things as men are. Unfortunately, the ERA took this a little too extreme. And althought the bill never passed, it has brought a new wave of thoughts that are still assimilating into our society.

I have to agree w/ Dsade here,thats an awful lot of "Must Have's",I do think thats def an Old' traditional outlook for a girl your age,its 2007,that whole housewife,doing dishes thing is out the window,So I thought,I think more couples share the responsibilities now and are happy to do it,You say you expect a man to provide,breadwinner and all...I dunno about all that,eprsonally me and my girl just like Money in general..don't make a fvck to us who's name is on the check,And the kids thing,I spend more time with my daughter than she does,and proud to do it,I would never expect of any girl to think she "had" to do anything particular,everybody is different though,Hey if that works for you,more power to ya...

to each their own, i make no qualms about it, i'm not the easiest person to date, i have plenty of expectations and i expect them met, or else. i deserve it, we all deserve to get what we expect out of life. why lower your standards?

See...she was smart about that. She says that's what she "wants", but in order to make sure no man takes her for granted or has any financial hold over her she has gotten herself into a career that makes up to 6 figures in our part of the world, with high demand.

Sucks for me. I was hoping I'd be like: "biotch, shutup *smack*, I got the benjamins!" Now I only get to smack her when we "do it".

She never told me I had to, it's not like that. She doesn't walk to the door and wait for you. lol. Its more like she likes a guy who does that sort of thing for her. If she knew I did it because I was expected to then she'd just think Im a spineless pussy.

everything good in life is definitely earned. respect is about equal giving and taking. when you respect someone and they respect you, there is no need to ask or tell a person to do anything, it just happens. Being with a person because you want to be with someone, not because you need to be with someone creates alot of respect due to the fact none of you are trying to fill a void. I believe its what too many couples do wrong, too many people "need" each other and then too much compromising and lowering of standards happen.
 
Do What Chad does, just wink at her when you walk by or something to catch her attention but not act like you care. Chad did that when I met him ( not at the gym ) and I was very quick to be interested after he winked but nothing else. Girls know they are hot and when a guy winks but doesnt give her anymore than that then she starts to question........

Actually that is a non question... mrs gimpy and I would never never make it to the gym to work out.. we would be stuck in the locker room or sauna!!
