Haha. Actually I should swap out the engine for either a 6cyl, or some other Toyota/Lexus engine. Its pushing out as much as it can off of what I have. The next stage would either be to:

-nitrous
-supercharger/turbo
-bigger engine swap

That's gonna be a lot of money (><)

I don't know if you can tell quite by the pictures but the front end of the car is lowered 4.75" and the rear 3.5" That wasn't a gentle lowering and blew the car tremendously out of stock specs. I've had to do numerous adjustments to keep it running ok.

reaper... the 3sgte engine is a 2.0 turbo good for 240 horses if you get a third gen. you would be hitting high 13s for a daily driver!

Yeah I've been thinking about what to do with it for a long time. I also put in HIDs not too long ago. I'm just contemplating keeping the car for another 1-2 years then get a M3. I've always wanted one of those. S4s are ok too.

The biggest problem is the CV joints. Stock those things won't last for more than 1.5-2 years and the angle they are working at with my car. Its fun having it dropped, but each time 1 CV joint goes out, I just swap the half-shaft which is like 140.00

imprez... you may afford a 2jz swap with all those rides you got but since there was never a tranny to bolt up for a fwd toyota and a 2jz we cant afford it

Someday i'd like to get an old el camino and put a narrowed 9" ford rear in it and tub it, do a wheelie popper. it would be fun

Bah.. Go big or go home..lol Go RWD.

I have never been a fan of the 3sgte.

My next project is going to be an ek with k20, or honda fit with k20...lol

I can't afford **** now, that is why i am down to 1 nice car, and a daily driver. Buying a house sucks..lol

here's the only pic i have handy. doesn't show the new rims and tires (foose nitrous 22's). and sound doesn't reflect the CAI i had installed recently as well. at the time, i didn't know it had a rev limiter in 'park', i'll get a new one of it in 'neutral' and y'all can hear the true effect. :D

it's badass though, rest assured ;)

dang, all these bikes and echoes... who knew bodybuilding was so enviromentaly friendly

Have to admit - I bike to work solely for my own benefit - helping the environment is a bonus. Best of all, my ride downtown is mostly through a river valley that comes up near my house. I couldn't handle riding the roads everyday - too many signals, bad drivers and dim-witted pedestrians!

beeelzes got the sick car

I posted my pic earlier, but cause this isn't online anywhere, it was as an attachment ;) same car as beelz, just a limited edition color, little other differences. Dodge rocks, 350hp and 4 doors :D "its a family car honey"

i like the daytona's but some of the colors are not for me, yours in nice though. with the CAI, short headers, hi-flow cats, and straight pipes - i'm guesstimating mine to be somewhere in between 380-400hp.

and in case you're not familiar with 22's, they give the worst ride ever, lol. but damn, they look nice. ;)

The "Go Mango" was the first of the daytona colors, came out sept 2006. Yeah, some are kinda wacky, they are doing the Plum Crazy Purple this fall tho. Can't wait to see that. I'm considering throwing one of the ATI prochargers on mine once warranty is out :D So far only mod is a K&N air filter.

Instead i'll probably stick with my replacing the car every three years, and get one of the Pontiac G8s, assuming the v8 model is available with a stick. thats the only downer on the Charger, automatic only

considering trading mine in for a challenger next year. but after all the work i've done on it, it'd break my heart to trade in my first new car at the first sign of something else. besides, the four door thing is nice.

as for the plum crazy color, i saw a few pics of it, looks real nice just not for me. you took yours to the track yet?

Not yet, I ought to tho, it would be fun to take both it and the corvette up at the same time. I figure the vette would win on the 1/8th, but the charger might pick it up by the end of the quarter. the vette has a 4.11 rear, so it starts to wind out fairly low speedwise. My wife wants a challenger, which may work out as my lease on this runs out jan 09. I had been thinking about buying it out and doing the supercharger, but if the G8 has a stick in the 362hp v8, i'm there :D

When gm brought in the GTO initially I wished they had imported the 4 door instead. I thought it was really slick that Holden (the SVT type group of GM australia) did the 4 door sport sedan with a stick. I'm just still crossing my fingers that the stick makes it in it. No official docs on it yet, just says "6 speed automatic standard on v8" but that doesn't mean the 6 speed manual isn't optional :D

How do I post a pic of my little car :)

CROWLER

i have no cam and no pics but presently a 2002 oldsmobile cutlass stock and a 1986 monte carlo ls on daytons with 4 pump 10 battery setup. My goal is a monster 4x4 full size truck.

Reaper, stop with that car. A 4 dr camry racing? Ok. dont go any further imo just stick with ICE youll save money that way. I had a 2dr 98 accord ex v6 or whatever and i did so much to it it was gorgeous, real clean, with alot of custom stuff, no kits or spoilers. everything i could bolt on performance wise, next step being a supercharger but 13s is as far as youll get, if that.

Nice car Beezlebub!

well, if the rumor is true, the challenger will have the optional package of bringing back the legendary 392 hemi, 6.4L, 525hp stock. if this is true, then there's no debate for me, i'm getting it. imagine putting a supercharger on that. nascar, anyone? anyhoo, found a better pic of my baby today.

this isnt true at all... i have a customer in my shop with a 95 camry ( same motor and only 200lbs lighter) and he had an all motor 12 second car. ofcourse he then did the motor swap and broke into 11s. i will say this though... that tranny doesnt last long with much horsepower.

anyone looking into the new camaro coming out?

thats sick gluck

The challenger will definitely have at least the 425 hp, but it is still a 2 door. for me it depends on how much space it has in the back for a baby seat :)

well, my backup plan for that is to get my wife to get rid of her corolla. she takes the charger, i get the challenger. a big happy hemi family :D

cnorris, thats awesome! haha reminds me when i was lil kid we put boxes onto our red wagon to make it look cool.
i vote this is the coolest car yet hahaha

Actually piston I'm not racing it, I'm just modifying it to how I want it. I'm just hanging on to it until I complete my grad program then I'm just going to buy a M3 brand new.
If nothing else I think a car lowered on rims is always better than stock setup....if nothing else in the car were to get modified. The trans probably isn't going to last long like motive said, its just not built for that. The CV joint definitly don't last either, especially when they are like ... 8 degrees off center.

heres my old whip.... couldnt deal with the 4mpg, so i sold it and now i'm rollin in a Audi A4 2.8. annyways, heres the ol' monster.
