I can't remember if I've asked, but any thoughts on a straight carb powder? Preferably just unflavored. I know that we talked a bit about a blend of purple sweet potato one. Any more movement on something like this, Carb10, HBCD, etc.?

It's one of those items that's a staple that I still can't get from you yet @sns8778. Eventually, I'll be able to grab your multi, your intra, I can already get creatine from you. So only the carb powder & maybe an omega3 product is needed for me to go almost all SNS.

The purple sweet potato one we got flavor samples in and the only way to not stain your mouth purple is to have a lot less purple sweet potato in it than we wanted to. Business wise, I think it would be a nightmare and would likely have a lot of people want to return it. It's one that I may do a small run of at some point just to see though.

I would like to do a HBCD or HBCD/Carb10 product. It just kind of got put back behind other stuff.

I want to do an Algal Oil and thought about doing a high potency enteric coated fish oil.
 
For me... fish oil is not a nice to have. It's a MUST have. This is going to sound WAY over the top, but 6g fish oil all but cleared up psoriasis, greatly improved my allergies (I went from almost daily misery in the spring/summer to 1-2 bad days a YEAR). It took a good 4-6 months to start working. But has been amazing. I'd be VERY interested to see what you come up with on that front.

That's interesting about the heat. I seem to sweat more since adding it in but it's probably one of the other ingredients in pump sauce...

...but I remember using the powder in my intra that was just EAA and Peptopro and had the same reaction.

My reply isn't directly to you, just using your post as an example to build off of.

The reason we haven't done a fish oil yet is because the market is just saturated and a lot of people view it as just fish oil rather than looking at the EPA/DHA content, which are the active constituents.

I know for some people it doesn't matter and they'll swallow 6 to 10 softgels per day and not think anything of it, but a lot of people are only going to take let's say 2 or 4 regardless - and for those, the EPA/DHA content is very important.

I'll use NOW Foods as an example since they're a brand I respect and they make 2 different ones that have dramatically very different potencies:
  • NOW Foods Fish Oil - 1,000 mg. fish oil per softgel supplies 180 mg. EPA/120 mg. DHA per softgel
  • NOW Foods Ultra Omega - 1,000 mg. fish oil per softgel supplies 500 mg. EPA/250 mg. DHA
In the above scenario, a person that takes 3,000 mg. of Fish Oil per day is getting a completely different world of active ingredients, but a lot of people don't realize it.

So as a brand, if we make a standard typical one, its really no different than anyone else's bc people usually just buy whatever fish oil is the cheapest. But if we make a super great high potency one, the problem is the average person has no idea about the active constituent difference so they would just view it as overpriced.

That's why it hasn't been something we've prioritized bc its kind of a danged if you do, danged if you don't type of thing.

Definitely want to do one, just explaining for anyone interested in learning more, some things about fish oil that a lot of people don't realize.

Oh and if the idea ever was considered, please make it from CEL, I stand by what I said earlier about how much I love the new CEL bottle/color scheme. Literally looks amazing to me.

The general idea of some sort of 'tea powered' supp would actually be pretty cool. Plenty of ingredients could be argued over for inclusion haha.

Be curious to hear Steve's thoughts on PurpleForce though... I've seen it before looking over Maypro's ingredient portfolio. Sounds interesting, but I don't think I've really seen it included in any products.

Yeah I thought the name was creative lol, but I’ve only seen purpleforce in a couple blends, no standalones, from what I have seen so far. I did see priceplows article on it and it does seem interesting.

That ingredient has been around for a lot longer than most people realize - just never had any demand for it; actually had never had a single person ever mention it before.

I had thought about it at one time, but for the price of it, there were just always other things that I liked the idea of including better.

yeah makes sense. I mean if you aren’t feeling it I trust you. It’s been a thought because I’m a big fan of the non hormonal stuff, and when I came up with the supplement name it seemed like the only other option. I know epicatechin comes from cocoa too, so maybe it wasn’t as good of a name as I thought lol. When I first thought of it, I was ready to start signing autographs.

I think the naming idea was clever.

Epicatechin can come from cocoa or green tea, so the naming idea works in theory.

Then VasoFlo+ is a green tea and black tea extract.

It's a cool thought process.

Purpleforce would make sense since it is tea derived, which is funny because I don't think most people, even people that have heard of it, realize that it is tea derived.

The downside is that as you said, its so similar to Epi-Plex so if we ever did something like this, I don't think it would wind up under CEL.

You have me trying to think of any more tea derived ingredients haha.

Shoot maybe a new supplement isn’t ideal but if epiplex ever gets a facelift/ updated bottle it could have a rename too. Because I’m really not joking, the new CEL bottles look amazing to me. Obviously a supplement should never be chosen solely by the way it looks, but if you are already buying it, AND it looks amazing, it’s like a cherry on top.

Thanks. I'm really glad that you like the new label style so much. I do think that we will be changing over a lot of the CEL labels to that style as we run out of labels over time. One thing about that style is it isn't very suitable for long names like LipoVantage - we've had our graphic artist playing around with ideas for that.

Epi-Plex sells too well to ever want to rename it. And I intentionally want to keep it on the simpler side and not add too much to it because we actually get some people that buy it because of certain medical conditions - and fancying it up would cause an issue for them.

I agree - in theory the looks shouldn't be a big factor, but it really is. The silver lids on the Health Series products make them stand out, and the look of Lean GLP, Pepti-Bolic, etc. help them stand out. Muscle Addiction sells well in brick and mortars for that reason - the blue and green really stand out on a shelf.

If we ever did do a tea based idea, would be cool if could think of a few more tea based ingredients to all put together.

A beta-lactolin supplement would be nice. I think it would stack great with other products too; especially Elite Choline. I rely on that for stress management and think the addition of beta-lactolin would be great.

EDIT: Looked deep for any product claiming to include it. Only thing I could find was the company that discovered it; but their products are only in Japan from what I could find.

So seems this could be a product you would bring to the market before others. The more I look into it, the more interested I am.

Spermidine may help with that….my wife has MS and Spermidine helps the mitochondria and we take PEA Relief and Curcumine that helps with inflammation. I’m sure Steve could recommend other products as well.

PEA Relief is excellent for nerve pain, sciatica, etc.

As @gphagan1 mentioned, Spermidine XT may be very beneficial for that also, along with a lot of other things.

CurcuPrime Gel is very good at localized relief. I use that on my leg where I have nerve damage where the tibia came out through my calf muscle.

I had thought about doing a nerve support product and may in the future.

BASIS would be worth trying for improved nerves. It's made nagging pains a thing of the past so far. Knee and shoulder.

Just finished a month of this stack with some other supplements. I’ve stacked Alpha gel with L carn gel before and they are some of my favourite supps. I’m experimenting with another ‘form’ of L carnitine currently. I’ve lost about 2kg BUT..I look leaner than ever. I’ve been applying the fat loss gels on my outer legs and love handles and I look so slim there. I wish I had ordered a three months supply straight away but now I have to wait. I will order more but also for the first time I shall try an SNS/CEL anabolic, preferably something geared more towards fat loss/recomp. I’m thinking about Basis.

We will be starting an Easter Sale that will apply to XPG products too, probably tomorrow.

I think that BASIS would be great to stack with that stack, and Recomp20 would be as well. I really think that BASIS and Recomp20 are going to stack very well together.

Anabolic XT is my overall favorite product because its good for so many things.

I'm looking forward to doing a pretty big stack when I can get back to training regularly. My plan is Anabolic XT, Anabolic Effect, BASIS, Recomp20, Prime XT, Alpha One, and Pepti-Bolic - I have some making up for lost time to do.
 
Understanding the market might be limited, but could there be anything for female fertility? What we see on the market currently either seems to be $20 products that contain nothing or $150 products that have a following, but nothing to justify the price.

There are a lot of cool things going on company wise, one of which is a major website change in the next couple of months that will be more marketing based and after that, we plan to start having more products available on Amazon.

When we do start putting things on Amazon, we plan to do an SNS for Her and that is one of the products I would like to do. The formula is already pretty much done; we just have to wait for the timing to be right.

Well im all for it, be super cool to see it in person and utilize it. Completely understand it will be less sought after or demand for, due to glycophase covers so much as a gda. Thanks for reply though, maybe one day.

Blood sugar is such an individualized thing.

My plan myself is to do Lean GLP morning and night and then GlycoPhase with my two highest carb meals.

I had considered doing a GDA under CEL that would be more specifically designed for building muscle and carb manipulation, but there just didn't seem to be much interest.

GlycoPhase is such a great product, that I'm just not sure doing another GDA wouldn't just be competing with ourselves.

I'm definitely still open to the idea though if there's enough interest.

C3G XT is a great product and could definitely be thought of as a muscle building GDA.

The concept that was discussed under CEL was a bit different in that it could be thought of as a super potent GDA for people that are really taking in a lot of carbs.
