tough question. about 5'9" and a half inch. high school was 5'10". in my 20s they documented loss of height and found that burst disc under my L5. I've always wondered if thats why I struggle even when quite lean to get the very lowest spare tire area tightened up.

playing devils advocate though I also wonder if I was truly 5'10" in high school and shrunk an inch or if I was never 5'10" lol.

either way yeah I think the extra lean mass weight you hold is incredible. lb per lb inch per inch if we were the same height you'd be outweighing me by at least 20-30lbs at equal bodyfat levels I'd think!
I would probably be about 10lbs heavier if I were 5'9. That is a little over an inch and there is about 7-10lbs per inch of height on a muscular person. That is how they figured out the weight classes for Classic, 7lbs per inch of height.

Looking at NPC standards looks like over 5'9" is up to 197lbs for classic physique.
And right now at 190 I'm thinking I need to get to around 180 to be at 10% ish again. I can't imagine that extra 17lb cap for me 😅:oops::oops:

It is actually 194 for 5'9 but still that is still a big dude when you think bodyfat would be in the 5-8% range.

it's absolutely a huge dude! and I wasn't sure if I'd qualify at 5'9" in this theoretical situation or if I'd get bumped to the 5'10" class with that extra .24 or .5" or whatever I might be working with when I first wake up lol.

I'm guestmating myself around high 15% right now (it could be lower but I'm trying to be realistic) so say 30lbs fat. getting sub 8% if I lost zero muscle mass is like 175-176lbs so yeah that extra 20lbs is a huge difference on stage!!
 
What time do you have to be at weight? Drink at your normal pace for this new high intake, but then I’d cut all water off at least 16 hours out, at the latest. So if you weigh in at 9am, drinking and eating are done by 5 so you have time to shed some fluid. Maybe take a long hot epsom salt bath to relax. Keep that cortisol low, stay relaxed, and the water will come off.

Also, sleeping with your legs elevated higher than your heart will cause you to shed an extra pound or two. Scott Stevenson found it in a NASA document or something; there’s a low gravity diuretic effect that can be replicated by declining the body during sleep tonight. Just use pillows and blankets to build up the end of your bed some if you can.

Check Ins are from 4-8PM, Ideally I would be able to weigh in around 4 so I can start the carb up.
Not currently on a higher intake, 1275 calories for the day today and won't likely even add a carb until after weigh ins with how it is looking. I am waiting for coach to give me the next portion of the plan, however I do think it will shake out similar to what you have mentioned here. The original plan was 2 gallons today and 1.65 gallons tomorrow finished by 6:00PM but that is not likely to hold true since I got sick and the approach needs changed. Still not even sure why my weight went up yesterday considering I was 196 and change yesterday, and now I am 202.4 this AM. Not even sure what would have made the water stick around unless electrolytes were really off from being sick or something.

LMAO he does have an impressive physique, and good symmetry for a dwarf. The condition on that guy to his left though!!!! That is what I expected to achieve on stage, if coach gets me down to Classic Weight I will definitely be that peeled at nationals. Heck maybe a few lbs before that.
 
Weigh In Day - Fasted Weight 198.2 - Weight cut off 198.25 - I don't trust my scale enough to be satisfied with this. Coach is sending me the plan for what to do next here in a moment. We are slamming 32 oz water then doing cardio and slamming 32 more then pulling water after that. He is going to meet me at the hotel early, and have dyazide ready incase we need to pop a 1/4 to make weight. Pretty excited, pics looking pretty good, posing routine not perfect but I know all poses and have timing decent enough to wing it if I forget a pose, and an extra one just incase I finish early. So all in all pretty happy with where things are right at the moment.

So we made it! My scale may be heavy by a lb or two my last weigh in at 5 was 196 and weighed in at 193.8 75 minutes later. I did take a couple good pisses between then. Coach has been here and looking at me after every meal to choose my next meal and if I can have fluids or not. We are trying to spill me over a little he thinks one more meal at midnight, then probably take a 1/4 dyazide to have me bone dry in the morning. Coach is very happy with how I am filling out.

Well unfortunately I have bad news, the moved the bodybuilder up ahead of the fitness and we missed the whole damn thing... The girls were supposed to go up at 8 then when they finished they would start the bodybuilders. Well long story short the body builders went first while my coach was giving me the last eyeball thinking we had time for a little more food. Then went back to ask how much longer and they said my class just finished. Coach tried to get me entered into the open really fast but they didn't make that happen for us. It was worth a shot to ask if we could do a quick entry since already registered and weighed in.

I chose to take it all gracefully and be a perfect gentlemen to everyone involved. Lessons learned there. I have to take responsibility for my own mistakes as well and not verifying nothing changed when we walked in the door. Either way we made some lemonade with this !!!

We have continued the peaking process and are using today for daily check-ins after every meal or fluid addition to take notes and prepare for the 2 days in a row peak process for nationals. Getting some bad ass and very valuable data here. I think we are going to be so locked in for nationals it will make heads spin!

Anyway here is what I looked like at peak sorry the lighting sucks but I look SICK!!!!

Man what a rough cut - guess you guys learned something & won’t make that mistake again in a few weeks! Good to know what he can expect from your body though to help dial it better next time, and you got to get a practice with all of the tan and preparations part of it all.

But at least it was just your "warm up" show, and you got all the other mechanics and prep day stuff ironed out. So now you know what to expect. So from that standpoint the show did what it was supposed to for you. Definitely looking shredded!

Had the same question about the other competitors cuz it looks like you had a great look. Wish we could’ve seen some stage shots, but the real test is still to come.

Yeah, it was valuable and I have to be honest looking at the guy who won I think that was my show to win. Just had to get on stage.

He was just ridiculously excited with how much I was able to refeed fill back out and not spill over. We are both very excited, I think now he actually saw me in person and realized that even with the level of detail I have right now we haven't scratched the surface on detail. So he is very excited about what he thinks we should be able to dig out of my physique with some more fat loss.

We are back to the original plan of Johnnie O Jackson which works because I already paid for it. That is on the 24th so basically the plan is to just walk on stage in the middle of my water load for Nationals, he said we might toss 5-6 rice cakes at me just before stage to get a little pop but we don't want to mess up the peak for Nationals. We are turning up the heat too. I told him this motivated me that I need to be in crazy condition, and he could drag me through hell to get it done.

We just bumped Clen to 80mcg a day from 20/40 rotation and he is planning to adjust the diet to something he thinks will shock the body and accelerate things but he said I will likely hate it. So we shall see. I ain't skeered!


So for some shits and giggles here I am mid refeed yesterday at 208.6lbs. I am officially waterlogged this morning weighing in at 211.6.

The Clen will be a tough adjustment for a couple days like it always is, but 80 is a dose I still have found to be pretty tolerable for an extended period with my wife before, 3-4 weeks. It’s a cardiotoxic drug, but I think the real problem is all the people who use it for 1-200mcg for months on end. 80 is still ultimately on the ideal side of payoff:stressor ratio.

Thanks! You should have seen it when peaked. I still can't believe I was so distracted with everything I never thought to go down and take some pics outside while peaked. I looked insane.

About to head into the gym, I have chest and biceps on tap then cardio and will be running through my posing routine in between sets. I am so full this one is gonna be rough. Pump will be insane but moving around like a water buffalo! Went from 193.6 to 212.6 in 48 hours of refeeding. It took a lot to spill me over the 2nd evening. We obviously got there after my big free meal. I didn't go crazy, just got a double meat jalapeno burger and fries with a waffle on the side at IHOP. These pictures were about 35 minutes after that meal.

Yeah my wife sold me on a waffle, but I didn't feel like having an omelet like usual and the burger just fit the bill. I love IHOP waffles, sure the pancakes are fine and what the place is known for but the waffle is just far superior!

Carbs and I are not on talking terms right now. LOL I think I get 36 or 40g of carbs daily now with how low my calories are. We did not stay at the 1275 but we aren't far from it. We went to 1325 I think. So pretty darn low.

Thank you Sir, and beleive it or not those pics aren't peaked, I was about 5lbs spilled over in them, I was much tighter and more defined. I can't wait for you all to see it, especially with stage lighting.

About to head home make my preworkout shake and head to the gym for legs and either posing or cardio, most likely posing today then may take a walk to burn a little more calories. Wish me luck, feeling rough after that refeed so legs in the heat should be really fun!!!

- Back under 200 and tightening up quickly. That is a 14lb swing back down in 2 days so far. Really feeling the deficit today, everything is heavy again, I had gotten used to having some carbs in my system but we are at a point of lower blood sugar at almost all times now. I am sure it didn't hurt i did legs and cardio yesterday, I am sure that has something to do with my legs feeling heavy. It's rough when carrying your workout and work bag in from the car makes you tired and you can't wait to get to your desk just to put them down. LOL

Do the bottoms of your feet hurt? I have heard that happens when you drop sub 10 percent bf. I would never know but it’s what I’ve heard
