Good work on the reverse grip bench…. I had tried the talon grip on reverse bench after SkRaw recommended. It felt good on lighter weight, but once I got into a little heavier weights old “Arthur”, short for arthritis, let me know real quick that wasn’t going to work for these old hands, but otherwise it actually felt pretty good. I’ll probably use it again, but stick with the lighter weights and higher reps.4/3/24

Dropped another pound; I knew I had to have been hitting 247 occasionally for a minute but finally saw it on the scale. Got over 9 hours of sleep last night - between that and the CPAP, I felt absolutely excellent today. Forgot I was training tonight so I took the Clear as soon as I woke, so I took a second capsule preWO.
Never tried the talon grip - it felt very good around 135, but very uncomfortable at 2 plates. It was tough! I could have went a bit heavier, but 225 was solid work & I would like to leave some room to milk it.
I had to play around with that grip for a few. Finally choked the hands in a bit and landed the rings almost dead center of palms.
the last 5 of training (since we went to the Arnold) have been **** overall, so that’s just what it is.
Packin abs at that weight?

Tell you what, I did NOT have the eye of the tiger when I pulled up to the gym. Everything sore, stiff, & feeling worn out, but I noticed a spare Bronkaid tab in my cup holder. Popped that dude, cranked the music up, did an extensive warmup - ended up with a very session.
Feeling it now, but sometimes you just have to make a decision and go the distance!

Sounds hotI ended up putting the ring between my pinky and ring finger for the work sets. I will bump it to ring on ring next time, maybe try between ring and middle.
I religiously take a single 100mg capsule (2,000fu) of Dr.’s Best Nattokinase first thing fasted every morning. I have never experienced any remote drowsiness or noted side from it. I can’t believe you have to take 6 pills for only 1,200fu - are you sure you’re not megadosing 12,000fu??

Yes, sorry, typo... Most studies point to 10,000 to 12,000 FU... But I think Im going to lower it a bit.

Regular exercise further improved the effects of NK. Co-administration of vitamin K2 and aspirin with NK produced a synergetic effect. No noticeable adverse effects associated with the use of NK were recorded. In conclusion, our data demonstrate that atherosclerosis progression and hyperlipidemia can be effectively managed with NK at a dose of 10,800 FU/day. The lower dose of 3,600 FU per day is ineffective.

Bumped to 3 caps/day last Friday, 5 days ago. No sides. I suspect there is some component of this that lowers blood sugar ultimately, because I have been hungry more often. But not in any way that negatively impacts training - that has been going just fine.
I have bloodwork next Monday, so I will be running this for at least another week before raising gear up any. It will also be a chance to make sure these haven’t been poisoning me![]()
