Id like to run epistane solo one day just to see what the drawbacks on bloods are specificly from epistane. I know whats typical but id like to know exactly.Waiting and taking bloods later sounds like a good plan, because that will give you more of a realistic picture of how things look moving forward. On those low doses, you’ll probably feel pretty good and have some good gym aggression to push that strength. I believe you could get to 405 on bench a little quicker than you think with what you’ve done in the past. Just obviously be careful with injuries. That actually sounds like a good recomp cycle, they all three are good on their own in a recomp and strength but that synergy together with Test just makes it better. I wish my old joints didn’t have issues on Epistane, because it is such a good all purpose oral.
You nailed the one factor thats very important. First i gotta get back to 370 lol. I think i can use the 6 weeks to get back to tgat 350-370 area or pass it if i up the bench frequency. 3x week is doable, my buddy actually suggested it bench every other day and have 1 deadlift day and 1 squat day that alternate between benching sessions. I dont have time for being in the gym 6 days a week. But i can to 4 days.He has to work his technique if he wants to go from 370 to 405. That’s almost 10% increase for an already advanced lifter (training age, past drug exposure, etc). Something radical needs to happen to get back to 370s THEN also add another 30+lbs. The drugs will not be radically higher, nor peak bodyweight/muscle size, so getting better at benching is the most feasible way. This is done with increased frequency as well as some technical review/instruction.
It took me 4 years and gaining 13lbs more peak bodyweight to go from 352 to 396. I never benched more than twice a week.
@Smont studies of powerlifters show increased strength benefits of increasing weekly bench frequency up to 4x a week, with 3x being the real money spot, if you can adjust total volume to make that recoverable. But you also need to have a decent technique, so if you can find someone great at benching to teach you or follow some videos that would be ideal.
Sonething like tuesday i compitition bench, deadlift, ohp and some fluff.
Thursday squat, weighted chins and close grip bench and some fluff
Saturday i bench with my push workout
Sunday legs and back.
Id get to bench 3x
Deadlift 1x
Ohp 1x
Weighted chins ,1x
Squat 1x
And still hit everything at least 2x a week.
I dont want to over complicate snd get Paralysis by analysis where im too worried about the program and not putting time under the bar.
So i do think il just find a way to squeeze bench into other workouts
The other alternative was do a full body monday, wedensday, friday and just do arms and lagging stuff on the weekends. I know a lot of guys dont like full body, i personally do. Its boring but it always works for me
) im not injured, i dropped the bar in time. It still seems like anyrhing over 325ish i cant do reps. My form breaks if i dont stop for a few secconds between reps
