I attacked a new jar of Skippy Super Crunch Peanut Butter with a spoon last night.

Notes; This mornings work out was a tough one, I did not sleep well last night and I was dragging a bit, but I did manage to best all the previous workout. But I am paying a price, I injured my knee slightly and my lower back is really sore.

I attacked a new jar of Skippy Super Crunch Peanut Butter with a spoon last night.
Who won the battle ?! ;) Peanut Butter is my weakness. I probably go through a jar every week or every other week.

My wife said the peanut butter shelf was about empty and she grabbed the chunky without knowing it, but I liked it, very nice change !!
Probably due to that JIF recall. If we ever run into a peanut butter shortage I'm screwed. It's a staple in my diet :)

I might lose some body fat, when I open the jar it's hard to put the lid back on if there is still peanut butter inside.

It’s actually a great survival/long storage food. Quite a good shelf life with great caloric density.

Easy addition when you want to gain a little bulk too. 2 measured tbls is 150 of protein, fiber, and healthy fats, that and a scoop of protein gets you about 250cals, perfect add on for an easy controlled bulk addition.

I gave this a try this morning. I made overnight Proats with it. The Glazed Donut taste is there but weak, but I do like it. It is a very good tasting protein for only 100 calories per scoop. I may open another new for tomorrow AM ??

Looks like they are implying Crispy Cream like donut taste with that label... that must be the issue. If it were Shipley's style you would be loving the donut flavor! ;)

I’m trying to gain 10lbs in 2 weeks so it’s pretty crazy at the moment…lunch was ~2,200 calories of 2 foot longs from Subway (a meatball & a chicken/bacon/ranch) and 2 cans of Mountain Dew Code Red. And yes I felt bad afterwards!
That sounds like a meal I would have ate when I was 18, but back then my metabolism was so high I would still weigh around 185. Couldn’t do that now, I would swell up.😂

That sounds like a meal I would have ate when I was 18, but back then my metabolism was so high I would still weigh around 185. Couldn’t do that now, I would swell up.
That’s what I was thinking too. They’d have to roll me out of subway and then it would take me a week to get back down to my baseline weight

It 100% is a battle; I find it much harder than fasting. Reading this from a Pizza Ranch after 4 plates of pizza, fried chicken & cookie pizza with ice cream…I lost a pound from yesterday

I don't think I would buy this again? It has a nice blue berry flavor, but it is very chalky tasting, I have had it about four different way and it is just OK, I did mix it with my Glazed Donut powder and it was much better. I believe I will finish off the tub mixing it with other powders. Having said all this I got this tub at 50% off and I might buy it again if it were a really good deal. The other interesting note is after having four servings the other day mu poop :poop: was purple. It must a some really strong coloring in it.

Maybe that was the reason it was 50 % off. Side effect is purple poop

After about four nights in a row of not sleeping, I decided I need to give MA Labs Stage-3Z another try, and I am very glad I did. I took (3) scoops and stacked it with 1mg MA Research Ketotifen I had an amazing nights sleep. Now just to set the record straight, Ketotifen has been my "Go To" sleep aid for a few years, but it has not been working for me lately, so I have stacked the too four nights now and got great deep vivid dream sleep, I even sleep through my wake up time twice, but it was very welcome after about a week of horrible tossing and turning nights with little sleep. The other added bonus which I am really enjoying is the euphoric feel I have when I wake up. Yesterday I found my self driving to work with the windows down, the stereo cranked and I was singing (loudly) along with Phil Collins (In The Air Tonight) I even played the Air Drums! I don't think I have ever done this before, but I like the feeling!! Right now it's 5:49am and I am feeling GREAT !!! Life is Good ! Thank you @Mike Arnold

I was ready Hyde's log and he was talking about the Adductor / good girl (closing your legs) and the Abductor / bad girl (spread em wide) machine and the benefits of the movements, well I have never used either one of these machines (I thought they were only for women) so I had to try them out. My truck needed fuel so I headed out to the gas station and than to Planet Fitness to give these movements a try.

Abductor (3) Sets (1)100lbsX15 Reps (2) 130X12 (3)160X10

A few notes when I first sat down on the machine my first rep with 100lbs felt very, very easy, by rep 15 a was exhausted and in pain. Using a muscle you have never used before is a feeling I forgot about years ago. I could not walk when I was done!!

I will be making my way back to Planet Fitness for a work out occasionally !!



Nutrition; July 4th is my 32nd wedding anniversary, so I told my wife we can do what ever she wants over the 3 day weekend. She wanted to go to Olive Garden for lunch (Soup & Salad) and then to Sam's Club. For Dinner we went out to eat (again) with my youngest daughter and her husband to a Himalayan restaurant for a buffet. I really enjoyed the buffet, I tried a lot of dishes I would normally not eat. So the short version, I have not idea on my nutrition breakdown for the day!

Notes; I slept good again for the night.


I think this is the most solid I have ever looked.

Definitely looking solid……..looks like this workout program is working really well for you….good job. 👍
Oh and Olive Garden is one of my weaknesses….all calorie counting is out the window when we go.
