all this time fauci and diben have been telling us to wear masks when they knew that masks offered no protection due to size of virus...

this really pisses me off...did the media know about this? and if not why not, almost any scientist would have been aware that the size of the virus was too small for masks to offer protection...

if they have been lying about this what else have they been lying about?

Inb4 the provaxxers say they are smarter than a conspiracy theorist professor of viral immunology/pathology.

just remember, the companies making vaccine have immunity from prosecution in both criminal and civil courts--42 U.S. code 300aa-22-standards of responsibility....if you get sick or die due to complications from vaccine you are out of luck....i wonder why vaccine manufacturers were granted this immunity?

"In this single-center cohort study of patients with COVID-19, lower testosterone concentrations during hospitalization were associated with increased disease severity and inflammation in men."

Nothing to do with vaccine. Just thought it's interesting.
what is curious is that males are more prone to worse outcomes from covid than women but yet it is men with lower testosterone who are at higher risk than males with higher testosterone, this seems really interesting?...unless i am misunderstanding this?

I'm scheduled for first pfizer shot on friday. Really struggling with the decision to take it or not. Lot's of friends got either sick or lot's of sides from the shot.

The thing is, our country is making it hard to not take the shot. You can't sit in a restaurant (inside), can't cross the border, etc. without a quick test, or prof of vaccination, etc.

so much for freedom of choice-eh...unless you are hardcore against getting THE SHOT like i am, then i suggest you go ahead and get it now--the coercion is going to get much worse.

I’ve been invited to get mine multiple times (by phone, letter, email etc). Just ignoring it the moment as the uk haven’t mandated it for anything I want to do (haven’t mandated it for anything really although I believe some other countries will only let us travel there if fully vaccinated)

Until I feel it’s negatively affecting my life I’m not planning to get it. I’m still no anti vaxxer but having read what I can and listened to as much as I can it just doesn’t sit right with me. The deciding factor was that it doesn’t stop transmission which means it’s not protecting other people, this in my mind it’s only my health I’m ‘risking’ and I believe the risks from the vaccine (small as they might be) outweigh the small risk from covid

only a estimated 40% of adult Americans are fully vaccinated with 56.3% having at least one shot--diben set a goal of 70% of adults to have at least 1 shot bu july 4th....for this to happen look for the diben administration to take away every freedom possible to coerce people to get shot

this is a very slippery slope, imo.

For the interested, if your company starts to ask you to take it or withhold things if you don't take it, consider seeking out a lawyer.

3rd form would be the most applicable: https://americasfrontlinedoctors.org/legal/vaccines-the-law/

No way that happens. The more they try and force people and hide information, the more people arn't going to want to take it. They are going to push more of this "take it or miss out on these privileges" nonsense.

If there was any sort of transparency and honesty, I think I would've given it a more solid look. But look at what happened with hydroxychloroquine and NAC...if something is cheap and works then the FDA suddenly wants it gone o_O

This whole thing just seems like the rich getting richer along with big pharma as they sell out our country to China.

Yep, European countries are starting (or planning) to demand a proof of vaccination to be able to enter their country. No other 'forcing' moves at play at where I live so far.

Great. Tnx for the info.

I'm almost never sick and this is what worries me, as far as I understand it, people who have better immune systems tend to have more sides from the shot.

Yes. Going out of the country is a hassle. You need either proof of vaccination, a quick test or PCR, or antiboides test (I think).

It's kinda funny cuz last year, there was none of this, you could just cross the border.

It doesn't sit right with me also.

And the transmission thing you mentioned, ... I didn't know about that.

Covid for me has been quite an imaginary thing. Been hanging out with friends, skating, drinking from the same bottles, etc. since day one. Nobody got sick, nothing. And the ones that did maybe get sick was nothing to write home about. And now I need to get a vaccine shot that may or may not harm me? wtf ... Now, I know to some covid can be a bad illness, but to me it feels really unnecessary to get the shot. And now that you've mentioned the transmission thing ... idk. And the government that's forcing us to get it with all the restrictions ... it feels like I'm morally and ethically obliged to not get the shot. It actually feels like not getting it is the right thing to do and getting it is the leisure thing to do ie. the lazy thing to do.

The government is really screwing the pooch on this one; making something that is not mandated - mandated through coercion. This is not the way a government should act. They should represent and abide by the absolute moral and ethical standards of truth.

So yes and no. People can ask about your healthcare information and if you give it freely, that is fine (why people give it out to anyone is beyond me). Where it becomes illegal is where people require the vaccine or tell you they need your healthcare information and you don't provide consent. For example, in order to do your job or in order to access privileges that enable you to do your job. It becomes gray because let's be real, corporations and the government will find ways to skirt HIPAA or loopholes to dance around it. When it comes to getting what they want, when have laws ever really stood in their way???

I would wager most lie or just tell their employers. I personally wouldn't say anything to anyone. Something along the lines of "I'm not comfortable sharing that" or "that is something private". If they pry more into it or restrict your ability to do your job, I would consider speaking to a laywer or sending that form I shared.

My company has vaguely told us to get it or that if we travel, we need to get it, but they have been careful about directly pressing....at least so far.

PS: Say this as someone who has been in healthcare 10-15 years

the EEOC made it a law that employers can mandate vaccination for employees. pretty sure that the government is offering incentives to employers who mandate vaccination as term of employment.

if you want to work you WILL comply>>>seems odd that the government would force employers to mandate vaccinations but yet the government is not mandating vaccination for all of those who get government assistance???
lol, could it be the government is afraid they would be called racist---i would bet money this is the reason...any takers?

When they are literally bribing people to inject something into their body you gotta start asking question to their motivation. Also, this is insight into how they perceive us and how they think we perceive ourselves...that we will inject ourselves for a $5 blunt?! Aka shoes they don’t respect us and that they think we don’t respect ourselves. Super offensive actually.

Ya I have an issue with the bribing. I think it’s everyone’s choice to either get vaccinated or not, but I think this is crazy. To be completely transparent, I got fully vaccinated pretty early on. I was up there on the VA’s list of people to offer vaccination due to an autoimmune disorder. I still debated it, but when I saw what the virus did to my mother and sister, plus my med issues, it was worth the gamble for me to just get it. My mother, sister, and I always got the worst of whatever flu or bug went around our house. We’ve known for a long time that our immune systems aren’t the best no matter what we do to help it along. Knowing we react very similarly to viruses, and seeing them still struggling months after testing positive (they still have limited smell and taste, as well as lung damage), it was enough for me to get it. But that’s me and that was my decision. No coercion necessary because I made the decision based on past experiences and family history. My wife will not get vaccinated. She has a strong immune system and doesn’t think she needs it. That’s her choice, and I, for one, won’t say sh!t about that. In fact I support those who don’t get it. I support those who do as well lol. As long as you’re making the decision for yourself, then bravo! This bribing sh!t is a bunch of nonsense.

Very well said. I am highly skeptical of the vaccine but I’m more skeptic of people who can’t critically think. You seemed to very much weigh the pros/con and come to your decision. Many don’t do this.

I have an autoimmune disease/immunosuppressed and covid was just just mildly worse for me than my wife. Like 3-4 more days of lethargy.

Young guys think they are bulletproof in life. Same reason I see motorcycles go by on the highway at 90+

Got Covid - sick as dog for months. Wife hospitalized on breathing machine for 10 days. We got over it - but the vaccine shot was nothing compared to Covid's effect on your life.

cleveland clinic study shows no point vaccinating people who have had covid-19 and suggests the vaccines should be prioritized to people who haven't gotten the virus.

I’m sorry you guys suffered for so long but please quit using fear as a motivator and use logic. Your N of 2 means nothing in regards to everyone else’s reality. Waaaaay more people had mild cold symptoms. Either you both had bad luck with genetics or haven’t kept yourself healthy. Neither apply to anyone else.

I see it starting to fall apart.
You can't rely on a base of pot smokers that don't want to work to accomplish political goals.

Unless you get them rallying around another police brutality carrot. Even with that, I believe most if not all citizens red or blue are clearly starting to understand the direction of our country and do not want it.

And health insurance companies allow the insured to do drugs now? Don't you have to provide your health insurance information before you get the shot?

i've asked this question several times now so i'll ask again....

how many people have personally known someone who has died from covid?

i have known well over 30 people who have had covid, but i haven't known a single person who has died from covid.... not even one.
♂ I have known multiple people that have passed away from COVID. I also know a lot of people that have got it and have not passed away.
