I see that Gambia is going to incorporate Safemoon into their currency. I think this is pretty significant news and this is just a start. The only other government I know (and I havent looked deep into this either) is China, but they are making their own digital RMB.

Yessir! Pretty awesome stuff. But there's so much FUD on reddit about it. Its really disappointing to see. I go on reddit for the fun/memes and occasional knowledge when I can't understand something, but I can't stand some of that negativity.

I wonder how much of this come from competition coins....and Im sure there are people that expect to be millionaires within a week. I dunno, Ill hold for years if I have to.

What Safemoon has achieved in less than 3 months is stellar (Ive been buying so much XLM that stellar is stuck in my head, lol)
 
Personally I’ve been a pretty big fan of Kishu Inu. Made a pretty decent amount on it and they’ve been advertising in Times Square this whole week! So a lot of money has been put into it

I think people werent jumping with joy last night because of the "whats in it for me" attitude. This is a young project and I think what they pulled off last night is a great move but being that this was the big announcement people just didnt connect to it.

If it goes down 50% it wouldnt bother me to tell you the truth. Im looking at over a year to several with Safemoon, but its so young they cant screw it up. Last night I dont think they screwed up at all, I think people arent realizing the accomplishment Safemoon has pulled off.

Agreed. The coin is still less than 3 months old and they plan to have their own exchange, wallet, debit card, and integrate into a country. The coin might not have any other purpose right now, but obviously this team has huge aspirations with the motivation to actually accomplish those aspirations. The price might crash 50% next week or whatever, but I heard a good quote recently, and I'll paraphrase...no one wants to be part of the journey; they only want to be part of the destination. In this case, I'll go on the journey with them because I believe the final destination could be bigger than what any of these other coins are doing. Or, I could be wrong and it all goes "bankrupt ", but that's the risk I'm willing to take with this one because of what's been done already so quickly and the short term goals they set. I can't imagine that after those 4 items are accomplished this team will stop.
 
Guess I'll update again. Solarfare down from $.02 to $.004 from when I bought in lol. Apparently Trustwallet is ridiculously slow at updating price changes. Now, do I buy more to average down or ride it out...hmmm...

Im overspent, I was dying to get a discount today and double my GMR and NFTART (soon to be enter.art) holding but Im seriously need to just chill for a minute, lol

Lol man I know how you feel. I'm putting just a little more in (1 more paycheck and whatever tax return), but otherwise I'm redistributing what I already have. Sold a little ONE for some Shiba. You're right, great potential for a rush then I'll sell quickly.

After what they pulled off yesterday, Im very bullish on Shiba, and Im hoping Shiba Swap will be a major catalyst.

They actually covered Shiba on Fox Business today.

People are now throwing out their Shiba Tokens to the wallet Vitalik dumped his in. They want to reduce the overall supply to bring value, but I dunno I cant do that lol

I love Vitalik. I saw him speak at ETH Denver a few years back and knew he was going to be a game changer. It’s actually a big reason I put so much into Polygon/Matic because I know they collaborate a lot and the devs like each other. Now with Sandeep leading the charge in India and Vitalik continuing to pump money to him I like him even more. Lol

So just a heads up because it sounds like you may trade a bit, keep close records of each because the IRS is cracking down hard on trades and not just withdraw and sales. You don’t want it adding up and getting screwed.

Do you mean adding up, lots of revenue and not having enough at the end of the year to pay the taxes on it because I've spent it? Or because I did too many trades and can't back track it all to be able to file taxes appropriately?
 
don't know if anyone watches or follow David Portnoy on IG .. but he said he is dropping 40K on safemoon :)

oh wow .. i really dont recommend anyone to go too heavy on any coins ( unless its safemoon or doge jk jk .. BTC, ETH really that have proven so far )

It's alright as it was only profits I gambled. But, so, good lesson for lurkers in here. Even if it's not a rugpull, still a big loss and unlikely to come back, but I'm going to hold that $60 until it's zero or until the token recovers lol

Something similar happened with Moonstop that I bought in with 100, rode it down to 11, and it boomed back to 300 and has been steady there for several weeks. So, you never know what will happen.

oh wow thats a big drop .. but yes ..great warren buffet said this about stock market and i strongly believe it applies to crypto as well .. some people panic too soon imo ( but then again i dont know how heavy they went in with or financial situation )

Both really, but moreso the tracking. Maybe you are better than I am at it, so I don't like to move it around much.

Thats strange, I thought they banned that a few years ago.

I do know the CCP is already beta testing their own crypto in some city so Im sure they want to have full control of it.
 
For anyone interested, I figured out how to stake with viperswap and staked a very tiny amount. The returns I've made in just 8 hours would be astronomical if it was a substantial amount of coins. The risk to me is of impermanent loss meaning if somehow viper token lost value, then when switching back to one from viper I would get less one. But really, these gains are crazy...

I tried on the metamask app but for some reason the numbers I was copying and pasting for the network were coming out wrong and I couldnt even add a one wallet.

Im still holding my little investment and if there is anything to make this easier I would love to hear about it.

I had trouble with that too. First, did you add Harmony ONE in metamask to be able to receive ONE?

Second, if you have the address to send one to, if it starts with 0x0, then take that address to explorer.harmony.one, paste it in the box and it'll give a new address starting with one. That's the converted address to send one to in metamask. Send just a tiny amount first, like 10 one to test it. The great thing about one is I can send a bunch of tests and the fees are so low it doesn't matter.

Apparently another risk of impermanent loss is if harmony rose in price while viper stayed the same. I'm not sure how concerned for this risk we would be, but wanted to bring it up for those watching this. I haven't staked any more one on viper yet due to this. With how volatile everything is right now, it has me a bit hesitant.

I was able to add a "harmony Mainet" in Metamask. Then I saw a 0 ONE wallet there.

Does your wallet say "0 ONE"" or just "ONE"

caught BTC at 38K early around 4am and dropped $300 in it .. i would sell it at 50k and buy some more coins
