Honestly, I'm not worried about VET, ONE or safemoon. But I'm less confident my junk coins will recover.

It makes no logical sense that just about every single coin crashed rock bottom and shot the very same time.

Makes sense, easy money psychops operations to buy on discounts as well as making money on shorts.

Im guessing as the market tanked that it triggered multiple margin calls on retail investors and also may have triggered a bunch of stop losses at the same time.

I heard Blockfi screwed up yesterday depositing 10 million bucks worth of stuff in the wrong accounts.

Im glad Ive avoided margin trading in Crypto. My experience in 2018 was very valuable for me, ones crypto crashes everything is gone in a flash.

not sure on the exchange rate but interestingly it bounced off exactly 20k Sterling
Which reinforces my point to a greater degree. Strange!

Also I’m not getting pics on my end lately

Just a little warning for those of you new or getting into investing into crypto, courtesy of the FTC. They have a whole section of cryptocurrency at ftc.gov/cryptocurrency

FTC Data Shows Huge Spike in Cryptocurrency Investment Scams
May 17, 2021

New data spotlight points to more than ten-fold increase in reported losses in last 12 months
FOR RELEASE

Since October 2020, consumers have reported losing more than $80 million to cryptocurrency investment scams, an increase of more than ten-fold year-over-year, according to a new data analysis from the Federal Trade Commission.
In a new consumer protection data spotlight, the FTC breaks down the contents of nearly 7,000 reports received from consumers about these scams in the last quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021. The median amount consumers reported losing to the scams was $1,900.

The spotlight notes that cryptocurrency investment scams take on a variety of forms, sometimes starting as offers of investment “tips” or “secrets” in online message boards that lead people to bogus investment websites. Another common form of the scam involves a promise that a celebrity associated with cryptocurrency will multiply any cryptocurrency you send to their wallet and send it back. In fact, consumers reported losing more than $2 million to Elon Musk impersonators alone since October.

The spotlight notes that consumers age 20 to 49 were over five times more likely than older age groups to report losing money to a cryptocurrency investment scam, and that in the six-month period covered by the spotlight, consumers in their 20s and 30s lost more money to investment scams than any other form of fraud. More than half of their investment scam losses were in cryptocurrency.

The FTC has more information for consumers about cryptocurrency investment scams, and how to avoid them, at ftc.gov/cryptocurrency.
The Federal Trade Commission works to promote competition and to protect and educate consumers. Not financial advice, but here's a chart that shows all the dips btc went through on its way to the top. Screenshot_20210519-204049_Telegram.jpg
There's other factors now as well such as institutional investment and market manipulation though.

Alright guys, for anyone interested...the rewards for the viper-one staking really are phenomenal. I tested out a small amount over the past 24 hours and I've earned 1.77% of what I put in already. I've actually done it 2 24 hour blocks in a row with 2 different amounts to verify the amount returned.

Nope...dont see that at all. Just that all of it is still only showing in staked and under "unbounding"

At least Im still earning a tiny bit more during the unbounding process.

Have you thought about this viper staking? I just put half my ONE bag in as I'm still a little concerned about impermanent loss.

Here's another British guy on crypto.
His technical analysis has been usually very accurate. He's suggesting potential for bitcoin to drop even more maybe to 20k before it takes off to 200k. Not FUD, but just bringing awareness so if it does happen, we're not all trippin' lol.

I spoke to a very smart man that does way more analysis than I am capable of. Why I pulled out. Will buy back in in mid $20k’s.

You are probably doing it right, but I think I am just gonna Diamond hand my main stash all the way down then back up. I just have a little bit I play with for trading to keep me from making dumb trades with more than I should.

Anyone else get the KuCoin margin trading bonus? I bought some ETH3L last week (lost a few bucks) and then KuCoin alert says I get an airdrop bonus for futures if I enable futures in my account.

First drop was $8 USDT but then it said if I add $10 USDt and tried a trade I would get entered for more airdrops. Already up a buck on my $8 they gave me lol.

Don’t know if everyone qualifies but something to look into. I never used futures before. I think there was also a margin bonus? Plan on going in today and enabling margin. $10 here and there can add up.
