All this new stuff has me feeling pretty excited. Just finishing up a second month of AE thinking of grabbing some of the new Vasoforce for after, but can't wait for some of the other things in the pipeline.

I hope you enjoy it.

Anacyclus will hopefully be in the next few weeks. The natural anabolic should be out in the next 4 to 6, maybe sooner.

Wouldnt mind it in a stacked BCAA. On its own I didn’t really get too much out of it when powder city sold it solo

I'm not putting them down when I say this, I'll just say that there have been some HICA raw material quality discrepancies over the years. I don't know if that could have played a role in it from there or not.

Yes. One of the things I liked about PES Ergonine was the 1500mg of HICA.
We may use it in other projects too, was just considering doing it as a simple formula, probably HICA + AstraGin.

It had a noticeable smell when I opened the bag. Like the aftertaste of unflavored BCAA powder but worse. Just became hard to want to add it to the workout stack.

I can understand that. I tried Pro Supps HMB, HICA, and Leucine product years ago and it was disgusting. That's why definitely thinking capsule product on our end.

@sns8778 What are your thoughts on Creative Compound’s Cornerstone™ HICA? Since you said that there were discrepancies over the years with HICA raw material quality, would you look into a offering a trade marked version like Cornerstone™ HICA?

I wouldn't complain about having options. It would be good to see it in different products.

I have a good relationship with Creative Compounds.

A lot of people have said that they like how I explain things sometimes from an industry perspective, so I'm going to answer your question and provide some insight at that same time to anyone that may be interested.

When we refer to branded ingredients in the industry, most of the time they are something unique or special - meaning that they are a certain standardization, an ingredient with clinical studies related to it, or a patented ingredient that cannot be offered by another supplier. However, sometimes, its none of those things and is actually just a trademarked name on an ingredient - this can be done for sales purposes or be done to make a recognizable name. I hope that makes sense so far.

In the case of Cornerstone HICA, there is nothing special or unique about it. It's just HICA; there are no particular studies done for this particular type or anything like that that I know of. So, would we possibly use Cornerstone HICA? Sure, we may. If the price is good and the quality is good, it would make sense to. However, would we be likely to specify on the label that it is Cornerstone HICA? Probably not. The reason would be that lets say we specify a particular type like Cornerstone, but then lets say their price goes up dramatically for some reason but there are other quality sources that don't - that would obligate us to raise the prices on customers when we didn't have to otherwise.

I hope all of that makes sense.

Still waiting on SNS hica
The wheels are moving on that one. I've already gotten a quote and the label text will be written up this weekend if I have time.

As for production time, things for a lot of companies are taking a lot longer than they used to now. For us, the average lead time is around 4 to 6 weeks but that's if new products don't keep getting bumped back by our other own new products haha.

Best guess though I'd say we should hopefully have it out within 6 weeks.

CoQH-CF. Basically Kaneka Ubiquinol with D-Limonene and some other goodies as the carrier. Very pricey, but effective.

I’ve been using it for a little over a week now (200mg/day), and I really wish I would have checked my CoQ10 levels prior because it has had a pronounced effect on my energy levels throughout the day. Of course it doesn’t feel like a stimulant or anything along those lines, but more so just higher sustained energy levels. Less brain fog, better mood. Almost feels like a nootropic in a way

I have been enjoying 200mg of Sabroxy (uplifting energetic focus), 200mg Polygala Tenuifolia 20:1 (mood lifting) and 200mg caffeine.

I have been doing this 2 days a week and not on back to back days.

Seems like Sabroxy gets a lot of mixed feedback. And the dosage seems hard to nail down. Very individualized it seems. Glad to hear you found a way to utilize it well

I haven’t gone above 200mg of Sabroxy yet. I have only tried 100mg then 150mg and 200mg seems like a good spot for me now. It’s subtle, but noticeable for sure.

I was thinking of doing a Sabroxy. But you hit on a good point about the dosage.

My understanding is that the clinical studies were done on 500 mg. twice per day but the dosages I see offered and used are much less than that.

I had never seen that one. I do get CoQ10 levels checked as part of my bloodwork so I could give it a try and see what it does.

I'll be glad to look into offering this one.

Not really a reason for not using Sabroxy daily, but it stacks well with Polygala and I only want to use that twice a week. Polygala is good for acute occasional use for me. I noticed some sides when I used it daily.

Plus I use other things on other days.

I normally feel the same way but then when you see ingredients that have clinicals on them for daily use, it can make you wonder which is the best way to go.

Like for Sabroxy, if we did one, I really don't know how to go about the dosage. The studies show 500 mg. twice per day, but it doesn't seem like anyone is using that high of dosing. So I had thought of going 250 mg. per cap, but then I see how people I trust their feedback on aren't even using that high of a dose so I wonder if that's the right way to go.

I would love to hear opinions on this from anyone wanting us to do a Sabroxy -

How do you want us to dose it?

Don't change your dosage on my account, but if you do try it higher, please do let me know.

I was leaning towards 250 mg. capsules if we did one; do you think that would be the way to go or would you prefer 125 mg.?

How about a green cardamom supplement? Supposedly a liver protector, elevates hdl, lowers ldl, increases insulin sensitivity as well as irisin and sirt1.
Cardamom oil | Liver protector & life extender?

The day before yesterday we reported on a human study from Iran in which supplementation with karadamom oil in people with fatty liver improved the glucose and cholesterol balance, and also increased the irisin level. Very nice, but what did cardamom oil actually do with the hepatological health of the subjects?

Cardamom oil | Liver protector & life extender?

Study
The day before yesterday's post was based on a 2019 publication in BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies, today's on a 2018 article in Nutrition & Metabolism. Data from both studies come from the same experiment.

You can read more about the experimental design and the doses used here.

Results
During the 3 months of the experiment, fatty liver disease in the placebo group disappeared completely in 5 percent of the subjects. This was 42 percent in the experimental group.

The tables below have been reduced in size. Click on them for a larger version.

Cardamom oil | Liver protector & life extender?

Cardamom oil supplementation reduced the concentration of the liver enzyme ALT by nearly 30 percent. This indicates that the liver started to function better.

In the experimental group, inflammatory markers such as CRP and TNF-alpha decreased by about thirty to forty percent, respectively. At the same time, the concentration of the longevity enzyme SIRT1 rose by 31 percent.

Cardamom oil | Liver protector & life extender?

Conclusion
Cardamom oil is probably more than a liver protector. A supplement that lowers the LDL level, increases the HDL level and insulin sensitivity, lowers the concentration of CRP and TNF-alpha and also raises the activity of SIRT1 and irisin may also be a supplement that extends life.

So there was not a noticeable difference for me when I went from 200mg to 250mg. I will try it at 300mg next.

So as far as dosing the Sabroxy I like 200 mg and 250mg better then 100mg and 150mg.

I'm looking into trying to fast track this one. I'm interested in it personally and have a great relationship with Sabinsa. If there are other single ingredient Sabinsa ingredients anyone wants to see, let me know. In great talks with them at the moment.

I think the below from Sabinsa would either be interesting or unique. Or maybe even to be used in a future combo product:

Black Seed Extract (20% Thymoquinone)
Chilitenoids
Forslean (maybe at a 120 cap bottle if possible)
Ginger Dry Extract (5% Gingerols)
Cratavin

Thank you.

Forslean 120 cap would be so expensive; it may be better to do a standard 60 but then sell it as a bundle for 2 if people wanted.

If I had to compare it to something I would say similar to Dynamine. I feel Sabroxy provides better focus and less on the energizing side. It also lasts longer then Dynamine.

It’s not a feel good stimulant like Eria Jarensis or DMHA. That’s why I like to pair it with Polygala so I get a little mood boost with it.
