Strength is steady increasing. Weight that I struggled with squatting before now feels almost effortless. I think my quads have gained the most size these past 6wks. Squatting was fun today but I’m almost more excited about the SLDL. Decided to try them out at a super light weight and it went great. Moved onto comp bench after working up to about 60% of my max. All in all it was a fun workout. Oh yeah I hit a volume PR squatting so that’s rad.

Squat (Texas squat bar)
5x155,190
3x230, 270, 305
8x345 volume pr

Front squat(Texas squat bar)
5x145x3
3x195

SLDL(Texas power bar)
135x6x3

Flat bench (Texas power bar)
135x6x3

I’m buying new knee sleeves so I asked my wife to take a few other measurements (cold)
Biceps 17”
Quads 25”

Bis might have grown a little but I feel like my quads definitely put on some size. I think a few inches from last year. I don’t even know if 25” is all that big but they’re way more developed.

Nice! What sleeves are you going with? I’ve found the Cerberus 9mm sleeves to be absolutely amazing, for what it’s worth.

Today was a good day. I however proved to myself that I just don’t deadlift anymore, maybe that’ll change once I get a reverse hyper. Last night my knee started having a numb sensation, upon waking my whole left side had the same sensation. This is only aggravated when I pull from the floor. Luckily I don’t plan on competing this late in the game so I guess it is what it is.

My benching felt good despite some pain in my left elbow. By the time I got to my final set I just wasn’t feeling it but I pushed through, hit what I wanted and called it. Threw in some incline db pressing at the end. I didn’t plan on working up to the 100s but these were flying up. My 60s and 100s have thicker grips which I love for pressing and if I could get more I’d change them all out but CFF has been out of stock. I attached a pic to show the difference next to a standard pro style 90 I built. Anyway, I was able to press these for 6 reps today which I’m super stoked about. I don’t use dumbbells very often but I think that’s going to change.

So Friday is my last day. I’m switching out the 3ad for epiandro pwo(not opening a fresh bottle for 3 days), bumped M1a to 45mg so everything ends on Friday. I’m ready to be done. Lethargy is real and eating has become more of an issue then I like. Overall this has become my favorite compound so I’m glad I still have 2 more bottles.

Awesome to hear another fan of M1A, I'm looking forward to running it myself.

Those handles look badass, I might have to upgrade and build some if I can ever find more standard plates for a decent price!

I lucked out after moving back up here in may. I bought everything about $.50/lb and sold what I didn’t want for $1 or so. I was unemployed so I spent my days traveling for equipment. I didn’t rip anyone off and was able to put 80% of my gym together for free. Haha I even sold a kid a pair of 40s and he returned them the next day for 30s because they were too heavy. This is what I have in pairs

I wanna give a huge thanks to @Hyde. This dude doesn’t know me at all and is always willing to give solid advice on everything. I just made the change to this style of lifting and without joining a powerlifting gym...yet, I’m usually lost. He takes the time to answer me. Today it was concerning sleeves. If you guys are looking for gear go with Cerberus! I ordered knee sleeves and a tee this morning then midway through my push session I was like damn I should’ve gotten an elbow cuff. I emailed the owner and boom he added what I wanted to my order and thanked me. People like him, @Hyde and @ZOO as well as all of you are what make me love this sport so much. For example I bought that bench a few weeks back from a power lifter who lives about an hour away he offered to drive to me since he was about to go out of town. We then stood in a 15degree parking lot and talked about training for a half hour. I just keep coming across real dudes and usually I hate everyone haha. Ok enough of that

Thank you guys. When I got into lifting within a year or so I came across EliteFTS. I didn’t have anyone teaching me things in person, but they (still) put out tons of free articles and videos routinely. And their motto was Live, Learn, Pass on. And then I found AM - Learn, Teach, Lead. It’s not always perfect, but there was plenty of folks willing to share experiences online.

So I guess I was just kind of exposed to this idea that you get taught for free, but the expectation is you will share your experience down the road however you can best help others, like you were helped. Honestly there is so much more good info available these days on the internet compared to even a decade ago when I was cutting my teeth still. People didn’t even talk about lipid health, PCT still wasn’t understood by half of guys or they didn’t believe in it, and nobody could hardly tell you where to buy a real power belt even.

Plus, most meatheads like to talk shop. I always have, and I always get excited to see someone accomplish new bests!

ive said it before but I always like it when he comments on a thread I’m in as I know I’m about to learn some stuff 👌

if I lived in the states he’d get my vote for sure 💪

Wasn’t feeling it today. Snowed last night and I just didn’t feel like training. Put on some old straight edge hardcore and I was ready to go. This is my last training session on M1a, epistane and 4andro as Saturday I start clomid. Thinking 50/25/25/25/25/25...lemme know what you all think. I’ve just done a few cycles in the past year and I think it’s time for a nice long pct.
Anyway my session went well but I’m having pain in my left bicep/elbow which worries me a little. I’m hoping these rest days and the massage gun will fix that. Added some bicep work which I never do solo but I just bought that preacher curl which is rock solid. That being said I’d never pay close to $400 for it but for $100 I think it was a good buy. I also used my axle for some curls after stalking @Hyde log haha. Got some more thick grip dumbbell handles arriving tomorrow so I’m going to reconfigure my weights on my dumbbells. Eating has become almost a chore which I’m not surprised about and I’ve found eating often in smaller amounts is the easiest. Weight is at constant 197lb. So a 6lb increase with a ton of leaning is fine by me as I’m building a base. Hoping to end up around 200-205lb after pct and maintain that weight.

I think the 6 weeks PCT isn’t a bad idea. After the first month in Clomid you can even go to eod dosing.

Ok so I had mentioned I had some pain in my left bicep/ elbow area. I was just taking the top off the nutribullet, which was stuck and now the pain is traveling down my forearm. It hurts to make a fist. All my veins in my forearm are popping out. I hit it with the massage gun and took excedrin but it’s throbbing something fierce. Any ideas? @ZOO @Hyde @Renew1

Maybe fill up a cooler or bucket with ice water and let it soak for a bit?

Sounds like it might be biceps tendonitis.

This sounds similiar to something I felt a while back, I was armwrestling some coworkers last summer like a goober and my left brachioradialis was jacked up for like three weeks. Dude, I legit went 3min in a deadlock with this dude, it was ridiculous. By the end of that a gust of wind could have beat either of us.

Other than rest I used floss bands, a rubber ball to massage and some naproxen but it was sore for a while. I started doing hammer and reverse barbell curls and it felt like it helped catch my brachialis up to my bicep and forearm. Hopefully yours gets back to normal quick.

So rest is probably the best option then? It didn’t really bother me during training today

Yeah.
Injuries like this are hard for guys like us.
We want to use our muscles.

I had a similar issue years ago (self diagnosed), and it took Soo Long to heal.
But part of the issue was caused by a repetitive medium-heavy motion that I repetitively had to make at work (maybe 10-12 times per day).

Rest of the arm does seem to be Key
