I did farmers and yoke down our street last summer...the neighbors usually ask what it is when they take walks or are mowing and go, “Well that’s neat - you have fun!” or something. Nobody really minds when you are friendly to them.



Must be synthol
In Florida I was lifting outside off of squat stands. I had 2 guys go by me and come to a complete stop to watch me ohp on their way fishing

Ok so a little update
I wanted to make sure this wasn’t just a one day thing. Yesterday and today my appetite has been through the roof. May just be the absence of orals or it’s the TD laxo, either way I don’t care. I wanna eat all day!!!
It’s the absence of the methyls. Remember your partitioning and utilization is actually down, so you don’t need more cals than you were getting to maintain.

Baby carrots, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, pickles, broccoli & (bleh), spinach salads, celery stalks - eat these freely!

Also, reverse the bulking food prep mentality - make food more voluminous and filling. Avoid adding calories from things like dressings, mayo, bbq sauce, cheese & opt for low cal sauces like Old El Paso taco sauce, Frank’s/Louisiana hot sauce, mustard, low-sugar ketchup, G Hughes bbq sauce, soy sauce.

Riced cauliflower comes in easy steamer bags and you can mix some into your rice, or use baked potatoes instead of rice entirely is even better (especially with I can’t believe it’s not butter spray & plain Greek yogurt on it). Buying leaner ground meat if it’s affordable or even going to something like chicken breast if you are really starving can be an option. Scramble your eggs and add some whites if you need more volume.

Lastly, add some steamer bags of asparagus or greenbeans to meals. Or canned green beans, unsweetened beets, sauerkraut. That extra stuff isn’t going to make you fat.

Awesome I already purchased the lean ground beef and egg whites are plentiful where I work.

Ok so I woke up optimistic about Blue. He just means a lot to me. A year after getting sober her and I moved into a 1br apartment together and a few months later rescued Blue. He’s the best and has taught me so much about not being selfish. So yeah to hear he might be sick it’s just not something I’m ready to hear but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. He’s on meds for a week and then may need to see a specialist.
Today was legs and it was awesome. Hit a volume pr squatting, which brought my 1rm up. Honestly, I can’t believe how light 2 plates feel. This wasn’t the case a year ago. Everything felt heavy. I remember thinking I can’t wait to hit 4 plates now I want 5 and it’ll happen. I did 3 sets of front squats, which just never have felt right so I’m going to keep them light as an accessory. Really utilized my cables today and with some ingenuity made extensions feel great. Now I’m sitting on the couch while my dogs sleep next to me. Life is good.

if your keeping front squats light anyway consider a zombie squat instead. Really trains the front squat position brilliantly and although you can’t go quite as heavy you aren’t anyway so you’ll probably find the additional benefits worth it. Smokes the quads the same, imo provides much more abdominal stimulus as well

👌👌 first few times it feels a bit weird but after a few sets it feels pretty natural. Personally I can zombie squat about 75% my of proper front squat

I’ve recently started squatting barefoot and honestly it’s so much more natural feeling. I’m gonna have to go hard with massage gun tonight. To think I used to hate leg day.

lol. I love it and hate it in equal measure. I love it cause I know my 3x3 at 385 on Friday will feel like an achievement but I hate it because I know 225 onwards will just feel heavy 😂

If you have the ankle mobility to squat barefoot defo the way to go for sure. I don’t tbh

My bench day was cut way short because my left arm is really bothering me. Excruciating pain and numb at the elbow. Maybe it’s time I take a full week off. I’m afraid I’m going to do some real damage.

Sounds like a break and some light band stretches or something easy like that might do you some good.

I woke up this morning and the back of my neck is killing me. Supposed to do squats tonight but I'm kinda thinking a break might be what I need too.

Yeah man after I got done shoveling it started bothering me but being hardheaded I did my max bench day anyway. Now, it might as well be broken that’s how much pain I’m having. I think a break to reset followed by a deload week is the way to go even though I hate saying it.

Breaks suck! But they're better than being broken. You'll be back at it in no time.

Maybe some folks with experience can chime in on bpc 157 or tb 500?

If it’s tendonitis Helios around that area, the rest from lifting with it, and 100-rep ultralight band pressdowns (I’m talking micro or mini, tops) will be a big asset.

BPC157, something 100-250mcg, once a day will help if it’s tendon-related. TB500 is for muscle healing.

Mk677, all most guys will need is ~15mg if you want best bang for buck. 30mg is more like you are looking for a max bloat. Add at least 4-500mg Berberine daily when using it because it’s likely gonna raise your fasting blood sugar some.

Ok this mk677 is definitely legit! Thanks @TheVenom for the hookup. I’ve been noticeably more hungry and I slept so well last night. Morning weight was 199.6.

Today was the last day of 50mg clomid , I’ll be running 25mg for the next month. So far pct is going very smooth. I can’t really tell what effect the laxo has on me but I’ll continue to dose 4 pumps a day.

So as far as my review of M1a/3ad I loved it and did exactly what I wanted to do. Gain strength and get a more finished look. All weight went up in every lift but bench and squat were my focus.
Went from struggling with 365lb on squat to hitting 405x3!
Bench went to 305lb before hurting my arm and I know if not I’d hit 315 but I’m satisfied.
In all I’m happy with my new training style and I plan to add mass and progress even further over time. This log is just getting started...
