Tell SNS What You Would Like to See From Us (2020 Edition)

It’s a good point. Because once muscle protein synthesis is stimulated to the max (~30-45g of protein/meal for an ~80kg person), does it even matter?

I know there is A LOT more at play when it comes to hypertrophy, and I won’t pretend to be an expert (see below for experts) on what amount/type of protein and at what time promotes the most optimal whole-body net positive protein balance, but I believe RipFactor’s key MoA is MPS stimulation.

Also if the the one from gnc is already is at 40 grams of protein and we know 30 grams of whey has 3 grams of leucine which is the most one needs to trigger mtor is adding ripped factor on top of that needed or is it redundant . The question still stands . Protein alone or protein plus ripped factor . Someone could tell us I’m sure .

Another idea, and I mean this respectfully, but I think you guys could use some updated merchandise (shirts, shaker bottles, etc). I think my SNS shirt from when I was a rep about a decade ago is the same style you still sell :)

Now if it’s just not a big seller, then I get it, but just floating an idea

Old style shirts - We have a lot of those. We don't run that style anymore; we just have it offered until we run out.
Focus XT water bottles - people really seem to like these so this is a continuous item.
Pill cases - people really seem to like them so these are a continuous item.

New stuff:
We have ran some others from time to time as test runs. If Covid hadn't have happened, we would have had several cool things earlier this year. But with the Covid situation and the effect it had on out of stocks, the priority has been on getting stock levels back right and getting out new releases that should've been out earlier in the year.

Another thing on shirts is deciding whether to do cheap ones that we can give away with promos or nicer ones. We're leaning towards going the nicer ones route; but this is a no win for companies. People want nice shirts but people also want free haha.

Completely different subject for a moment :)

If anyone is looking to run an X-Gels cycle in the near future, I have 16 close dated bottles that I can sell for a great price. I just wanted to offer it in this thread as a thank you to the people following along and participating.

If interested, PM me for details.

Perhaps make the requirement to get a free shirt higher?? I know I have many free shirts that I wore once and then used as rags due to the fact that they were 100% cotton and tend to shrink length wise making me look like sponge bob. I think a cheap free shirt no one wears is an expensive give away in the long run as no one wearing them defeats the purpose in an advertising sense. I see what you mean though people be cheap lol. Now a days people want either free or expensive it seems. I know personally I will NOT be spending $30.00+ for a t-shirt regardless of what is on it or who is pimping it. American apparel makes a nice blend that hangs well, accentuates the physique and has stood up to 100's of washing drying cycles. They can be had for a reasonable price with nothing on them and I would pay $20.00 for one with a cool design but that's my limit.

When I say expensive shirt, I mean more the 15'ish range. It's not our desire to markup clothing. We would want as many people to get one as possible so the lower we price them, the better from our perspective. It's something I feel like we will probably do in a few months.

The grey SNS t shirts I have are absolutely fantastic. I've been wearing them to the gym for a few years now and they are still in great shape.

As long as it is not 100% cotton I would be in at $15, oh yea and in black. I think $15 for a decent shirt is a great price.

Of note:

AstraGin vs. BioPerine (Piperine)

AstraGin seems to have complex mechanisms, the most important of which appears to be the modulation of certain mRNA transporters (SLGT1, GLUT4, CAT1, etc.) to move and improve the absorption of glucose, amino acids, and more3–5.

BioPerine (piperine; black pepper extract), on the other hand, inhibits the drug transporter P-glycoprotein and the drug-metabolizing enzyme CYP3A4, thereby preventing or delaying the breakdown and elimination of compounds taken alongside it. BioPerine is most commonly seen paired with things like curcumin that have inherently poor bioavailability7.

Theoretically, AstraGin and BioPerine taken together should be able to enhance absorption more than either by itself.

Thank you for posting that. That's why I had asked :)

People will see the combination of the two in several new products from us coming up. Sometimes it does make sense only to use one of the two, but in things where it makes sense, we will be using both.

Was basing that off Epi-Plex. But 300mg Api with an absorption enhancer would be nice.

Thanks. I was just curious. I would likely use a combination of both of them with it.

What is your view on this supplement?

I honestly don't have an opinion yet. The studies look alright but I haven't personally used it and haven't known anyone personally that's used it for me to go off of. I guess the best way to put it would be that I think it looks like it has potential and that I hope some companies don't screw it up and create a backlash by overpromoting it or marketing it in unrealistic way that it couldn't live up to.

Combo seems like the best way to go

Regarding a potential digestion product, new research shows Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086 can improve amino acid absorption in humans.

What is your view on this supplement?
looks okay on a paper ..maybe will test it out

but theres so many great stuff out there with more proven studies imo

AE is the best and wait till everyone sees a new builder and ergo product would be sick

Figured I drop this here for them SNS/CEL lovers!

Thanks. Looks like they have some great deals - many that are well below cost. But they have very low quantities bc they haven't been placing orders in quite awhile.

It honestly looks like they're closing shop cause they have nothing!

I think they probably are. They haven't placed orders in a long time so I knew they would be low on stuff.

It's SAD :( to see so many business closing this year and I'm in NY and it's like everyday another one
here closes it's doors and some of them haven't even opened since the first lock down in March.

It is really sad. In this industry, a lot of companies were already struggling, and many brick and mortars were struggling bc of online retailers; and many online retailers struggling bc of Amazon. So then when Covid hit, that was just the final nail for many of them. It's sad to see.

Where art thou, new Lean Edge formula?

More teasing ( cant take credit this is from stac3d )

When it comes to weight loss supplements, we’re big fans of stimulant-free formulas, mostly because we prefer the freedom that comes with them. While we do like them more, there aren’t that many options on the market compared to stimulant-powered solutions. Of all of the stim-free fat loss products out there, Serious Nutrition Solutions’ Invalid Link Removed is one of the most well-formulated, and it’s about to get even better.

Serious Nutrition Solutions’ original Lean Edge comes with a strong 15 different active ingredients, all thrown in there to support weight loss without any stimulants. Sometime next week, the brand, more commonly known as SNS, is relaunching Lean Edge with a clean new look, but better yet, an improved formula. The upcoming supplement still has 15 key ingredients with a handful of changes to some of its dosages.

While SNS is not revealing everything you need to know about Lean Edge 2.0 this weekend, as mentioned, it is launching the fat burning product in less than a week, so all of that information is not far away. The promising supplement’s arrival is well-timed, with New Year’s Resolutions right around the corner, and knowing the brand, it is going to have some strong sales to welcome in the packed out weight loss product.

It won't be long; the product is in and ready to ship so there are no more production delays. Just figuring out a couple things with retailers :)

Macumax from Sami Labs/Sabinsa “was linked to vision health benefits in a group of subjects who were diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD).”

I can’t tell if they license this to other companies like Forslean and such.

Nonetheless, some pretty common and well-studied ingredients for eye health (lutein, zeaxanthin, BioPerine, bilberry, saffron, and zinc.

Thanks. I'm very interested in putting together an eye health product.

This is weird product because it is a formula that has ingredients in it that aren't Sabinsa's. They have a product from Indena in there and they are one of the absolute worst branded ingredient companies to have to deal with from my experience.

@sns8778 Btw any news on the cistanche and anacyclus product? 😇

I never said they would be in the same product ;)

If everything goes well, you'll likely see both by the end of January. You'll at least see one of them by then :)

Steve give us this product is bulking season!! Haha

Also interested in the high dosed Apigenin product talked previously.

I'm looking into the high dosed Apigenin. I've already gotten some pricing. I'm not sure the overall demand would be there to offer this as a solo option so considering using it in a formula of some type. Possibly the one I asked for opinions on about a natural muscle building type product

Thoughts on a Nammex sourced mushroom line? Nammex appears to be the industry leader in organic, whole fruiting body mushrooms.
