Man, you really dont understand how it works at all.

Droplets from an unmasked person can still spread to a person with a mask, and then all it takes it for them to adjust the mask and touch a contaminated area for it to pass into an orifice.

When you have more people wearing them properly, the droplets get caught in the masks. Obviously some will get out from incorrect wearing, but it would be far, far less than if they just didnt bother at all. View attachment 199500

Do you not understand how swabbing works?

It is in droplets, so breathing onto a bit of fabric isn't how you get an accurate test. You also need to be sure the droplets came from the subject.

You are right though, logic and critical thinking has gone out the window
If the virus doesn’t come onto a napkin would you say that it’s probably not going to come out on your face? There is no reason they need to stick a swab 4” up your nostril to find a “extremely contagious” virus.

Sorry man, this is not logical. Using your logic you could walk into a room where someone had the flu and test the air. It doesn't work like that. The virus is in droplets that dispurse into the air. Collecting those droplets in any meaningful concentration for testing is pretty difficult. But going to the breeding ground where they have colonized and concentrated is going to make collection a lot easier.

And of course, just because we can't detect it doesn't mean we can't get sick from it - our technology is not limitless. The idea we have limitless tech is part of the stupidity that has people blaming the gov't for a frigging virus. It isn't Trumps fault, or anyone's fault. They had no control.

But of course, if people in the 1800's applied your logic and it worked, they would have never been sick at all. At that point in time, no one had detected a germ, bacteria or virus at all. Since they lacked the tech to detect it in a room, or even with a swab, did that mean they don't exist?

But you are playing into the line in the sand politicizing of this. The gov't should not limit our freedoms. I believe in the greater power of personal freedoms, but I also believe that if people want freedoms they have to accept the responsibilities and consequences that go with that.

You do this every day. You have a gun, and I bet you are very safe and well trained with it. Yes, you have that freedom, but in exercising it you have also exercised your responsibility - and if you didn't you should bear the consequences. As much as people talk tough, I have a feeling you probably understand the responsibility behind taking a life better than most.

Doc just called me with my China virus test results. After going to all these super spreader events: trump rally, concerts, the bar twice a week, malls, and a couple large family gatherings...negative. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Whenever I hear someone use the argument that you can't stand up to the US military with an AR-15 I always think, "Tell that to the American farmers in the 1700s." We are quick to forget a bunch of guys with pitchforks picked up their Muskets and took it to the greatest military force in the world to create what we have today.

But than the liberals say, The US Government has Nukes!!!!

LMFAO, ok go stick to your sticks, rocks, bottles, matches and emotional safe houses.

If hairy cavemen could survive in Afghan for 20 years against the mighty US empire, imagine 20 million well armed, trained and educated freedom loving American Citizens can accomplish!

Yeah, well, people go to this image of someone trying to shoot down an F-15 with an AR like it is going to be a standoff one-on-one situation. There are other ways to won wars and create problems for the enemy that guns will make a lot easier.

I would bet the Americans started with just muskets, but took their first small target and suddenly had a couple canons.

You know, the "Ho Ho Ho! Now I've got a machine gun." Situation. You can't fight a dozen terrorists with machine guns and rocket launchers with a Beretta either.

Simple Guerilla warfare tactics.

You know, Im not condoning this but the best way to recruit liberals is to go to where they are located, attack them overnight, shoot up their cars and homes and show up the next morning as their savior and hand out the weapons when you "tell" them who attacked them. They will be 2A faster than a starving Venezualan can eat a fresh well packaged donut they found on a sidewalk.

All you need against empires are traditional guerilla warfare tactics.

Actually a good example would be us in 2003. We pushed through that country in a couple weeks completely crushing saddams massive army. Then the local haji resistance started.
i used the french intentionally since imo the french are not exactly known as fierce fighters, but when their home and family were on the line even the french became warriors.

but i understand your example completely, we are in agreement!!!

Honestly, my view on this is that we should be VERY conservative with putting boots on the ground in foreign countries. If you cross us, death from above. You become a glass factory.

Well I was there. Not sure I would call it a complete joke. It was all our old equipment mostly we were fighting against. They weren’t defeated without casualties. Read up on some of the bigger battles. Battle of Nasariyah, or the capturing of BIAP. Mind you this was all done in MOPP gear and fear of chemical and biological attack.

Of course, the US government even gave Saddam who we propped into power the chemicals to use on Iran but somehow politicians have the moral authority to take it back from them.

Speaking of Iraq and Iran the military industrial complex gave both sides weapons to fight each other. It’s great for our economy for both sides to blow each other up as long as possible.

Don’t blame them. That’s what happens when the US government overthrows an Iranian elected president and props up their own Nazi dictator who terrorized and murdered his own people backed by the cia....people eventually had enough and rose up...these policies only create radicalism and extremism and intense hatred towards Americans.

I’m with our Founding Fathers, no foreign entanglements....they warned us of all this.

And LMFAO some hairy cavemen somehow blew up building 7 without hitting it with anything and shot a missile into the most armed and surveilled location on the planet.

I would not consider the entire Middle East a shithole. Visit any GCC country there and you will be amazed at how they live. Last February I was in Qatar, Kuwait, and UAE. In Qatar I was driving a Lamborghini and stayed in a 5 star hotel where they picked me up from the airport in a rolls Royce. In UAE we partied like the world was gonna end the next day.

Yeah the GCC is unreal. The massive buildings, facade, the glamor, cars, parties, food, malls, and service industry. We could learn a thing or two on their sponsorship system and how the whole thing is designed to give their citizens the upper hand and a piece of the pie in regards to business there.

It wasn't enough. We shouldn't have committed a single troop. We should have just said, "enough, you are gone." And removed them from the map and turned a bunch if sand into glass. We would have taken a bunch of political flack, which we took anyway, and Iran and N. Korea would be much more compliant today.

Don’t blame them. That’s what happens when the US government overthrows an Iranian elected president and props up their own Nazi dictator who terrorized and murdered his own people backed by the cia....people eventually had enough and rose up...these policies only create radicalism and extremism and intense hatred towards Americans.

Yeah, that theory worked out well for us.in WWII and your favorite conspiracy involving the trade towers. Foreign wars that we ignore have a tendency to show up at our doorstep.

But to your point, if people eventually have enough and rise up - then why the F don't they rise up and take care of their own sh*t? Why didn't they rise up against Sadam? Why aren't they rising up in China and N Korea? If people start rising up and taking care of their own sh*t I would say great, let them do it. But when we don't help they attack us for staying out of it and when we do, they attack us for getting into it. Some people just want to watch the world burn and will blame whoever they think has control.

I wonder what the people who were told not to show up at work that morning know?
Um, if you were in the middle of creating a big conspiracy, would you save the people who had info that you didn't want out there? I seriously question your understanding of strategy, haha.

On a side note, my mom ran a bunch of real estate offices in 2001 and one of her agents had taken a middle eastern family around to look at a bunch of houses a few weeks prior to 9/11. During this time you would go to a realtor for help and sign a paper contract with them, which they would keep in a filing cabinet. Usually the realtors would use a big paper book that was mailed to them every month and this was the MLS. That book had all the current listings in it. The MLS was just starting to mail 3.5" floppy disks that contained the info, and it came on like 10 disks and was cumbersome to use so they often just used the book.

There were no internet connections.

The broker would create a list of houses from the book, call up the listing broker and schedule an appointment to show it - under the agent's name and not their client's name. The only person who knew what houses were being shown and who they were being shown to was that agent making the calls.

So this agent had shown about a half dozen homes to this middle eastern family and thought nothing of it. On 9/12 the FBI shows up in my mom's office looking to talk to the agent. The agent didn't even realize that all those homes were in close proximity to a nuclear power plant in the area. How the FBI knew she was working with the family or which homes she showed has always made me wonder...they had to have been following them is the only explanation I have.
