Wouldn’t you be more likely to vote in a state where you knew your vote truly counted? I mean, a vote for Trump in California is pissing in the wind so meh why bother. But a vote for Trump in a battleground could truly matter. The margin in NV is like 8k votes last I checked.
Potentially valid argument - but if that's the case then why aren't their higher turnouts in MA, CA or TX?
MA is (maybe) a good example. Almost 3/4 of our voters are registered democrats - so literally only half of them have to show up to the polls for them to win the election. They can afford to be lazy. We still have a turnout that is similar to other areas of the country, which appears to be around 2/3 of the registered voters. In other words, wouldn't you be less likely to vote if you thought that your vote wasn't likely needed by your candidate? Whether or not you vote, your guy is going to win either way, so if you miss it you still get what you wanted and no big deal. If you don't vote and don't get what you wanted though, then you have nothing to complain about. I think some people think both ways on both sides - so you're not wrong; but it doesn't quite explain a rush of 180,000 votes in ONE district leading to a 21,000 vote victory for a state. I also know this seems far fetched; but it looks similar in NV and MI to be honest.
Yes, land doesn't vote - but to be targeting only the specific districts with populations that can produce hundreds of thousands of votes with surgical precision and no overflow into surrounding districts - coupled with voter turnouts that are unusually high?
Given that MA is pretty darned liberal, Dane County had 260,000+ votes for Biden and 78,000 votes for Trump (if my memory is correct) - or 76% of the county went democrat. It is too bad Dane doesn't collect party affiliation data; because that would be pretty telling. Either they are one of the most liberal areas of the country with one of the highest voter turnouts, or something is off.
Also, Dane County reached more than 50% of their 2016 voter turnout 2 weeks before election day - so lots and lots of mail in ballots going toward that vote. It also looks like 1.56M absentee ballots were requested in WI and a little over 1.1M were returned - strange, that's about 66%, there's that number again.
I'm not saying this is beyond any doubt....just that I think it is suspicious enough that it warrants some investigation.
You mean they found more ballots in Arizona that are Republican? I thought that only could happen for democrats???
The republicans aren't asking to change the rules. The thing is, you and I as individuals likely agree - the votes should be counted precisely. There should be no extra votes, and no lost votes.
Neither Biden nor Harris stated they would pack the Court either. Nor can they.
They refused to deny it on multiple occasions though. Pretty telling, considering how many times Joe has said something and then completely said the opposite 2 days later. Why is refusing to deny he will pack the courts?
Harris changes views like underwear as well - just a few months ago Biden was a racist in her words...now...he's the path to unity and equality. But she still won't deny they will pack the courts. Even if she said she wouldn't, it's not like it would be the first outright lie she told...so why doesn't she even just lie about it?
The reason is, as you say, they are unsure if they will have the power behind them to do it. But if the wind blows the right way, they will seize the opportunity.
