You should be taking at least 1-2 days off a week, there is no point in training 7 days a week (unless I am mistaken), more is not always better that applies to training, supplementation, or even nutrition as well. The extra rest will do your body a lot of good IMO and also help you free up some extra family time during the COVID Crisis. Thats my 2 cents

Again could be wrong here.

Update fellas, still grinding here. Got in a workout Sunday and Monday. Cut 6 yards Tuesday night, that was a workout in it's own. Spent 4 hours on my own yard last night ( happy wife, happy life). Got some sod and 3 yards to cut tonight. Probably wont train tomorrow, these 14-16 hours days just dont allow it. Full schedule tomorrow. Plans as of right now are to be off this weekend. Will get in 2 workouts this weekend and hope to get the boat out on sunday to fish.

20200415_183735.jpg

Got this from chef Bob aka @The Solution
Homemade salsa, gave it the title " Sweet n Bold" good work Bob, baby girl and I crushed it last night while making dinner. Gotta another jar on deck.

So as of now everyone is safe and healthy in my inner circle. Let's keep it going, take care of ourselves.

There are some that this pandemic is impacting, let's be there for these people. Lift them up, pray, love them, and let them know you are there for them.

Stay safe and try to be productive.

What a spread for Easter, looked like Thanksgiving over there!!!! Thanks for the shout out! Work been keeping me pretty busy so I don't get tons of time to get in my own head thank goodness. Been getting in some decent session the last 2 weeks. That helps a lot.

Monday update, would anybody here that follows this log believe it if I told you I took the whole weekend off??? Well I did from day job and lawncare. Worked up until sundown friday night, slept in until 630am on Saturday and went straight to the garage. Had a nice 90 min workout. Ran some overdue errands, picked a deer from taxidermy and went shopping for some new lawn equipment . I was in the country side Saturday. Check this out
20200420_121456.jpg

Pretty common around here

I did land a brand new walk behind mower for the company so that was good. Got settled back home around 3pm and slept till 6pm. Woke up and threw together this dish
20200420_121443.jpg

Got my belly tight and back to bed around 830, did not wake up until 9am yesterday.

Hung around the house all day doing chores, 2 coats of paint on 1 side of front porch, 2 coats of paint on porch furniture, worked on lawn equipment, 2 coats of bottom paint on the boat. Was pretty dam busy. Also, I trained yesterday too.
Picked these up fresh from local farmer, pricey but very good
20200420_121506.jpg

And to finish the weekend off baby girl brought me dessert last night
20200420_121516.jpg

So everything is good, friends and family are healthy. Pops got laid off friday until a minimum of 6/1, we will get through that.

Let's all try and do our part, take care of home then try and phone a friend, donate, volunteer. This is the time to help if you can.

Stay safe and try to be productive!!!

Morning fellas, still plugging along here. I would say just staying healthy and maintaining. Got in 2 workouts over the weekend. Lawncare is every evening so I'm definitely moving In the evenings.
20200423_054341.jpg

Got my azz up at 3am this morning and did the dam thing. Have a nice 90 min workout. I've said this in the past, but dam it feels good when I train in the morning.

Not really sticking to my goals like I should, dont know what the problem is, it just isn't consistent. I do good eating, dont train. I do good training, dont hit macros. Just being honest, not gonna call it a rut just not being obedient. It sucks cause I know what I want to do, I know what my goals are, and "I" am not sticking to the script. No excuses, "I" am my own worst enemy right now. Gotta get my sh1t together.

Anyways, everyone stay safe and try to be productive!!

You are doing fine brother! It's tough when routines get jacked up. we are creatures of habit.
Me personally I have limited resources without a gym. I can hit 110 pushups & 55 dumbbell goblet squats (wth my 40lb D-bell) without stopping now! LOL.
It's amazing how much you can do with one D-bell and a little weight. (I have a little 30min same workout everyday routine going. I have actually been losing weight. probably just muscle. Im just tired of it.
Plus the wife is on furlough and the house projects are taking most of my free time. (my problem is I cant stop wants Im doing a project)
She needs to get back to work so I can get a break!

Roll call fellas, good morning.

Finishing a 90 minute workout as I'm typing with a 2.5 mph treadmill cooldown.

Gearing up for a record breaking day of lawncare today. Got 5 yards if mulch being delivered at 9am to a jobsite. We will start at 8am preparing the beds etc. After that I have 19 yards that need to be cut and 3 that need to be treated by monday.

The goal is to get the mulch done and just keep cutting from there and see what we can get done. We always have tomorrow but there is rain in the forecast.

So gonna go throw together a pwo meal, shower up and get this show on the road.

Anyone look and smell this nasty at 540am on a Saturday morning?

Everyone stay safe, call your family members, friends, check on neighbors, hold your spouse, let your kids know how much you love them. Do what you can.
I donated to my local marina restaurant last night 250$ tip. It doesn't even have to be about money. Sometimes just a 30 min phone call to someone can change their day. Trust me, I'm doing it on a daily basis.

Stay safe and try to be productive!!!!

Morning fellas, update time. Saturday turned out ok. Got the mulch done by 11am then started cutting. Ended up cutting 6 yards afterwards. We left 13 yards on the table.
20200428_054013.jpg
Got rained out sunday, I slept in until 830am then did a clean out of the fridge. Made 3 scrambled eggs and cut up leftover chicken breasts from the night before topped with shredded cheese for breakfast.

Went back to sleep until 1130am, then went and looked at some jobs and helped the wife clean one of her commercial buildings.

Yesterday, dayjob only and got in a chest workout last night. 60 minutes.

This morning got in shoulders at 3am. So that's good, trained Sat, Monday, and Tuesday. Good start to the week. You guys know it usually takes a good 2 weeks to get in the groove.
20200428_053958.jpg
Todays on the fly post meal.
Venison burger/80/20 protein/ and 2 servings of animal cookies!!

Got a full evening of lawncare today and tomorrow after dayjob weather permitting.

Should have Thursday evening off, and full schedule friday. Trying to get as much done to have off a day this weekend.

Hope everyone is safe and doing their part during these crazy times.
Stay safe and try to be productive

Wasnt too bad, took about an hour. Made out good. I put the truck in the shop last week for 5 new tires and brakes. I knew something was going on in the steering so I had my mechanic diagnose the problem. It was the steering shaft.
He quoted me 420$ for the part, and 130$ for labor. The whole time I had the part pulled up on my phone while we were talking. I told him no cause I had just spent a ton on 5 Michelin tires and brakes.

I got the part for 29$, me and one of my guys did it in an hour. I gave him a 12 pack of bud light!!!!!

Now thats how to do it!
My problem is I go to my buddys private shop / Mans world. We have to drink beer and shoot the S*it as we work . Oil changes take 2-3 hours. steering shaft would be an all day! LOL. good times though.

Gym opens today! the owner called me last night. Spent the down time remodeling. Except he painted the hammer strength equipment Orange. I'm an OU grad. We don't do orange very well! LOL
The bathroom's looks really nice!
Repainted the gym, few new Mirrors, and a few new pieces of equipment. he would tell me what they were...
Plus he is giving his loyal customers 90 days free!
Now I need to control my self. its been 6 weeks since I had a good training session. Got to be able to get out of bed. Wish me control and luck! I weighed last night. I have lost 14lbs. I would say 75% is muscle.

Morning Fellas!!!

Been almost two months since I have checked in here. Hope everyone is healthy and safe

Still grinding along here. Working around 75-80 hours a week between dayjob and lawncare. Unbelievable!!

This has been our best year yet for lawncare in the last 6 years. Who would have thought?

Only been getting 1-2 training sessions a week in the garage but staying pretty solid and healthy from all the labor.

Supps have been daily basics
Multi v
Creatine
Omega 3
Eaas/bcaa through out the day
Hydra charge
Carnitine
Fuel pwo in the evening

Starting July 1st I've made a commitment to my family that I will not work anymore Sundays for a few months. It's time to enjoy all this hard work.
