what you said makes no sense, if they weren't disrupting there would be no punishment.

bad behavior has to have consequences otherwise it becomes acceptable behavior.
Yeah, but if you address the cause you can prevent future disruptions without necessarily having to shun the kid into a different school.

In your scenario, why are the disruptors disrupting?

haven't kids all been doing online schooling for last 3 months?

by better do you mean buying each a computer and free subscription to comcast?
Most of them have a device but subpar service like how people in the ghetto have bad water pressure even if they've paid their bill, they also have slow internet prone to service interruptions.

I fit the Federal Criteria for student loans...there is nothing about having good credit score or credit history. You cant show a history of fuqing up Federal loans though, if so thats on them and I dont blame a denial. Its really not hard though, being poor isnt a legitimate excuse. I worked part time 20 hours and used loan money to help with rent/food so I can focus on school work.

Criteria For Federal Student Loans
If you’re looking to get a federal student loan here’s the criteria:

  • Have a valid Social Security number.
  • Men must be registered with the selective service. Male students between 18-25 have to register with the selective service to receive loans.
  • Be a citizen or eligible noncitizen. Undocumented immigrants are not eligible to receive federal or state funding. Permanent residents with green cards can apply for aid. Immigrants with T-1, battered-immigrant-qualified alien, or refugee status may also be eligible.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED or certificate from a homeschooling program.
  • Enroll in an eligible school. Students at unaccredited schools might not qualify for federal aid. Some schools also choose not to receive federal aid.
  • Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Any high schooler interested in financial aid needs to fill out the FAFSA, a form that asks for your family’s financial information to determine how much you qualify for. Even those with little to no demonstrated need can be eligible for student loans, so officers encourage everyone to apply. Without the FAFSA, you won’t receive any federal loans, scholarships or grants.
  • Be in good standing with federal financial aid. Students can’t be in default on other federal loans or owe money on a federal grant.
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA. Students need to maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA or risk losing financial aid until their grades improve.
  • Be at part-time status or more. Students must be considered part-time to be eligible for loans. Each college determines what part-time and full-time status means, so ask your financial aid officer how many credits you’ll need to take.
LOL OK man. You've come to your conclusion and I'm wasting my time. Got it.

Muhammad Ali’s son says dad would have hated ‘racist’ Black Lives Matter

By Chris White
June 20, 2020 | 8:34am

View attachment 194929

On the fourth anniversary of his death, Muhammad Ali’s only biological son says that his father would be against Black Lives Matter, calling the movement “racist” and the protesters “devils.”

The legendary boxer and activist stood up against racism throughout his life, but Muhammad Ali Jr. says his dad would have been sickened by how the protests have turned to violence and looting after the death of George Floyd.

“Don’t bust up s–t, don’t trash the place,” he told The Post. “You can peacefully protest.

‘‘My father would have said, ‘They ain’t nothing but devils.’ My father said, ‘all lives matter.’ I don’t think he’d agree.

Of the BLM movement, Ali Jr., a Muslim like his father, said: “I think it’s racist.”

“It’s not just black lives matter, white lives matter, Chinese lives matter, all lives matter, everybody’s life matters. God loves everyone — he never singled anyone out. Killing is wrong no matter who it is,” Ali said during an hour-long interview with The Post.

On police brutality, Ali defended law enforcement in general.

“Police don’t wake up and think, ‘I’m going to kill a n—-r today or kill a white man,'” he said. “They’re just trying to make it back home to their family in one piece.

Speaking of Floyd’s killing at the knee of a white Minneapolis police officer, Ali said, “The officer was wrong with killing that person, but people don’t realize there was more footage than what they showed. The guy resisted arrest, the officer was doing his job, but he used the wrong tactic.”

He agrees with President Trump that Antifa fomented violence during the Floyd protests and should be labeled a terrorist organization.

“They’re no different from Muslim terrorists. They should all get what they deserve. They’re f–king up businesses, beating up innocent people in the neighborhood, smashing up police stations and shops. They’re terrorists – they’re terrorizing the community. I agree with the peaceful protests, but the Antifa, they need to kill everyone in that thing.

“Black Lives Matter is not a peaceful protest. Antifa never wanted it peaceful. I would take them all out.”

What was your credit score at the time? How old was your oldest account? Had you had any other loans? Any assets? Car? There are a zillion factors. You're really saying no one could have had worse credit or more obstacles to getting a loan?
I never had a credit card at that time, I couldnt. I never took out a car loan, the most expenseve car I ever owned was $1,500. The only assetts I had was a cheap room I rented in a house half full of drug dealers and druggies. Had some 5k in medical debt, owed money on 2 over-drafted bank accounts, I didnt even have a bank account. I never paid my dentist who sent to a credit agency, and had several other debts cant remember them all. I was one big irresponsible fuq up.

A credit card company wouldnt even trust me with a $1 loan at the time and I wouldnt blame them. I still had no problems walking into admissions office and finding out how to go to college at the age of 22. Actually, time is flying my memory is shot, lol I was 23 and my first semester I was 24 years old. I remember my first semester was when 9/11 happened, I was in computer class finding out and announcing the next planes that crashed on the internet while he was teaching class. Crazy damn times.

Yeah, there are poorer people who wouldn't qualify. I don't understand why that's so hard to believe.

How much poorer can you be? It wasnt long before that I was living in my car. Did I need to live in a cardboard box to fit your criteria of poverty?

Being I know where I came from your really being insulting here. Do you know what its like to need to steal food at the grocery store because your hungry knowing you may go to jail each time????? WTF, come on man your being really insulting, I doubt you have any idea what its like to be poor.

Yeah, I was a latchkey kid. I stole food and had to fend for myself all the time. I will admit that you were probably poorer than me. Why can't you admit there were people poorer than you?

i grew up 2 blocks from the biggest ghetto in indianapolis, cops were afraid to go in there without a large number. mailmen/delivery people got robbed often. ghetto's are violent places, outsiders avoid them as much as possible.

Yeah, of course...Ive used to hang out with people that had it worse than me. I used to hang out with alot of Mexicans/Central Americans... had a couple of close friends and they had about 16 people living in a single apartment. 2 bedrooms each without about 8 beds crunched in each room. They were working for $2 an hour cleaning dishes and stuff like that.

But I dont know what is poorer than 0, I mean how can anybody be poorer? And why is that so important. Yeah sure people had been in worse situations than me of course you will always find someone who is worse off than you.

My life changed when I started focusing on people that were better than me (fiscally that is, fiscally doesn't = better person) and I chased after that.

My youth had been better than yours in some ways I think, I grew up in a decent house but after 18 and problems with my father thats when I had to go out and figure things out on my own, so ages 18-22 were some of the hardest times of my life, but at the same time most rewarding.

He's also the son of somebody that believed in separating races. Muhammad Ali didn't start supporting civil rights and togetherness until his later years when he had Parkinson's. The younger Ali said he liked the ideas of George Wallace and said things like “black people should marry their own women" and "I like what he says. He says Negroes shouldn’t force themselves in white neighborhoods, and white people shouldn’t have to move out of the neighborhood just because one Negro comes."

Those are great points, I definitely wouldnt look to the young Ali as the face of diversity and unity, but he sure came from a different time when it came to racial oppression. Its more understandable from my eyes for that time period, but he really didnt help with the problem only contribute to it in many ways.

You know I saw an interview of him in his late years and they were asking him about bin-laden or some other terrorist but I remember him saying clearly he didnt want to comment because he does alot of business including the middle east and didnt want to offend anybody. To me I interpreted he sold out in some ways, which I can some what understand but he sure changed.

Those people arent my type of people either. When I was young (late teens early 20s) I mostly into hip hop and rap and got most along with that culture. Although Im pure Sicilian I never hung out with other Italians or related and never strongly identified with that culture. Most around my circles that I knew were at the time Sopranos were at its heights and all thought they were mobsters and talked with a heavier italian accent even though most didn't even speak Italian, lol.

Her problem is that she actually trusts and thinks the long term potential of government serving the people rather than special interests. I mean yeah she is right, right now these artificially created surpluses are going to benefit the elite but where her clear bias is that she is referring to Republicrats rather than blaming the single party corrupt duopoly as a whole. So she has some ideas there and is clearly partially pointing out to the corruption and mishandling of funds yet her own indoctrination in the system has her clinging to the idea government is there to serve the people which never ends up being that way.

No, because Im not ever advocating no government, I advocate what the role of government should be. Its completely different. Im trying to give people power over both special interests and the government, which by nature is corrupt by special interests especially when you look to them to solve our problems rather than limiting their power to protecting our rights.

Really? Its called not spending beyond your means. Making sure money is put to the side and creating a surplus for a rainy day so your not like King Cumho here in NY bitching and whining how the state is broke and that he has no idea how he is going to pay for all these irresponsible big branches of government and social programs.

On a national level, for starters we can start by ending the galactic empire, finally bringing our WWII troops home and taking the Dark Side out of power.

None of that will prevent a deficit unless your new government runs around taking assets from the citizens before they create any currency. 🤷‍♂️

I dont mean to be dogmatic about these documents, but it would make a huge difference if people actually supported the US Constitution.

Im really feeling less optimistic this year though, much less than many previous years. Its going to get to a point where they have to burn it in public and not even pretend to acknowledge it's existence anymore.

WTF....Now they want to rid of a statue of Theodore Rosevelt in NYC with him standing next to a Native American in front of a Museum.

It's almost like you're purposely avoiding the context and an entire part of the sculpture on the other side of that picture. Yes, a sculpture of a white man--who championed horrible things in the past including segregating and sterilizing groups of people--towering above a Native American man and African man can be seen as problematic. It's also a public building, so those are tax dollars that you're expecting black people to pay to support its upkeep. The museum has known the statue is a problem for a while and in fact had an entire exhibit on that fact https://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/addressing-the-theodore-roosevelt-statue So now the museum itself has announced that they voluntarily want to move their own statue. So what's the problem?

Nobody is taxing black people, they tax Americans and that Museum is owned by all of us as Americans. I think its a great piece as a reminder of our history and helps bring both the best and the worst of our past into discussions when you see it.

Being that Americans pay for the museum perhaps there is more of a way to implement for all of us to have a say. Perhaps we can implement blockchain technology to register votes on what to do and how to fund these types of public buildings.

The only reason its going down is political pressure from special interests and far left thinking people, its going down for the wrong reasons and its disingenuous.

1st of all, even if it was created by slave owners, the constitution is a great tool for governing...those that want to rip it up and 'start over' are very naive, imo. the anarchists are in way over their heads. i can agree with reform, but i doubt if anything could ever top the constitution!!!

The only reason its going down is political pressure from special interests and far left thinking people, its going down for the wrong reasons and its disingenuous.
Being against racism and wanted cops to be held accountable for killing people isn't far-left thinking. And you can spin this however you want, but that statue was out in public. It can be moved inside with the rest of the museum's exhibits where the context can be explained. It's not educating anybody where it currently is.
