Being against racism and wanted cops to be held accountable for killing people isn't far-left thinking. And you can spin this however you want, but that statue was out in public. It can be moved inside with the rest of the museum's exhibits where the context can be explained. It's not educating anybody where it currently is.Nobody is taxing black people, they tax Americans and that Museum is owned by all of us as Americans. I think its a great piece as a reminder of our history and helps bring both the best and the worst of our past into discussions when you see it.
Being that Americans pay for the museum perhaps there is more of a way to implement for all of us to have a say. Perhaps we can implement blockchain technology to register votes on what to do and how to fund these types of public buildings.
The only reason its going down is political pressure from special interests and far left thinking people, its going down for the wrong reasons and its disingenuous.
