Hey everyone this is my first post here. I'm looking for feedback or opinions. I was diagnosed with low testosterone a few years ago. My total testosterone is always low but my free and bioavailable always come back normal. My shbg a falls towards the low end of normal. My lh and fsh came back normal and prolactin and estrogen also come back normal. My thyroid is perfect. I do not have diabetes or anything else. Otherwise I'm very healthy. My total testosterone always comes back around 199ng to 260ng. One time I tested around 12pm and it came back 120ng. With free testosterone the scale is 35pg to 135pg and I always sit around 55-75pg. I'm 32 years old and 250lbs. I'm muscular but have extra fat. I don't have ed. I always feel irritable and fatigued. I do work alot and have 3 kids and I'm always going nonstop. I try to work out but it's hard to get the motivation and I feel I dont get much joy. I'm struggling with starting therapy bc some say this is normal life. Most doctors say free testosterone is all that counts but I currently have a urologist prescribing me test cyp I'm just not doing it. I'm driving myself insane. I guess you can say its anxiety at its best. I tried to put as much info as I can. Please help. Is it really low testosterone? I've posted here awhile ago but have gotten much more bloodwork since then.

I did a pro hormone for not even a month in 2015 and did a proper post cycle. I've just always had low testosterone. One of the many doctors I've been too said its bc my shbg sits at the low end of normal. He said I'm perfectly fine bc I have kids and have body hair.

Why aren't you taking the prescribed Test?
Are you afraid of pinning?
If so don't be ashamed to admit it.
A lot of guys are. ... And everyone is afraid of something.

Not afraid of pinning. I guess I'm more concerned with being shut down and what if I dont feel better on it. I've done tons of research for years. I know I can always come off it. I guess it's my anxiety too.

Well, coming off of long term TRT isn't guaranteed.

But I just thought you could try a small TRT-type dose and see how you feel.
But you'll almost certainly feel better (at least initially), whether you need to be on TRT or not.

It sounds like this may just be a decision you personally have to answer for yourself.

.... But we're here to help any way we can, bro.

How tall are you?

Also how is your diet? Do you get enough good FATs in your diet?

You would be amazed at what a proper diet and lowering body fat can do for natural TEST.

TRT is a lifetime of commitment and at 32 years old is not ideal at all.

You could always try it for a few months and come off it with a proper PCT if you felt it wasn't helping you. There's actually an Anti-Aging section of the forum here with a TRT section too.

I'm 6ft and I eat pretty good. Not super great but ok. All my cholesterol levels are great too. I was 30lbs lighter about 5 years ago and my levels have consistently been the same. I wish I had gotten my levels tested when I was way younger.

I thought about doing this also.

High cholesterol is not necessarily a bad thing. Hormones comes from Cholesterol. Not surprising yours is low.

6ft 250 pounds is very heavy. Unless you have a ton of muscle. Get in shape, get your body fat down and re test. These young folks (under 40) on TRT are setting themselves up for issues down the road.
