INTRO

First if all, let me introduce myself to those Who may follow this but don’t know me. I’m 42 years old and starting to get back into things after a rough one and a half years. I have been plagued by injuries and had knee surgery seven weeks ago. One and a half years ago, I weighed in at 210, and was feeling good. Ive torn my hamstring, then severely sprained my knee and finally, realizing I couldn’t walk normally, I finally went to the doctor. Found out my meniscus was obliterated, I have severe bone on bone arthritis, and I need a replacement. NOT HAPPENING....So ilI let them fix the meniscus as best they could, and 4.5 weeks later I was back in Patrol. Still sore, But there is no quit in me.
Im currently on the carnivore diet, and weighed myself today, 221. Goals? Id like to see 210 again. Im getting married in 2 months. She always looks better than me, but Ill be damned if shes the only one thats going to look good that day!! I lift 5 days a week, sometimes 6, and will be re-implementing cardio🤮. In another 2 weeks or so, once the knee is even better, Ill start my Brazilian Jui Jitsu classes again. Yes the name is FireTitan, but I gave the fire up and now Im a cop, in a crap hole city full of gangs and crime, so my appearance, level of fitness and ability to “tussle” means everything. So join in, help me along, give guidance, whatever....just get in here and feel free to tag away!! This should be fun

And HEERE we go!! Got in a 3 hour nap after I got off this morning, and woke up to find my 2 bottles of Icon ONE waiting on me. So first...wow at the shipping! Immediately jumped in the shower and after drying off..I applied my first 6 pump dose. It dries immediately, and virtually no smell. I did notice a slight tingle on my skin for the first 40 minutes or so, nothing uncomfortable, just noticeable. I kinda liked it, but, I like some weird stuff. Waited a couple hours, then hauled off to the gym.
Managed a VERY nice chest workout, like I havent had in a long time, to the point where I had trembles and almost nauseating. Nothing heave, no more than 225, but Im smart enough to know I need to work myself back into this. Nothing explosive to report on the product, maybe a couple more days and itll be noticeable. I cant seem to add pictures to the reserved spot, so my before picture will be added here.

Day 2 gentlemen. Did shoulders and Traps today and it felt great. Good weight pushed and was able to work until fatigue set in rather than boredom. Seems like Im getting back into the swing if things. As for the Icon ONE, i applied it upon waking up. After chatting with another logger, I decided to split the dosage up and apply on the inside of my thighs, forearms and flanks. Maybe its a change in mentality, maybe its the product...but I had a higher level of motivation today. Couldnt wait to get to the gym, the weight was heavier but seemed a bit lighter and I had a very noticeable pump in the shoulders and traps. Im working my part time job tonight so after a short nap tomorrow Ill hit the gym again and see how all goes. Short version? Im pretty d@mn excited about this run.

I like to do behind the back shruggs to build them.

I always do dumbbell from the side, straight bar with a close grip in front and then straight bar behind...but need to do more sets behind the back. Maybe start there, by the time I get there Im usually too fatigued to do many more than 20

I love me some shrugs.. I usually do mine in the squat rack. I always laugh at the guys that are either trying to shrug more weight that they can handle, or the ones that rotate their shoulders back..
Traps are the new abs. Lol

Nice! That sounds like a good set up and after doing that routine, i agree i'd be too fatigued to do anymore haha

Im just going to assume its due to the lift being so heavy. Either that or a stroke. Yeah...heavy weight...let just stick with that

Howdy Gentlemen! Quick update..No workout yesterday as I spent the day with my Fiancé looking at wedding stuff, and actually had a good time doing it. Friday night she wanted pizza, so i gave in and ate a meat lovers, but only 3 slices, sorry. Today I switched gyms and did back. Whoa!! I had an incredible pump in my back today, like I havent had in some time...Ill definitely chalk that up to the Icon ONE. And..for the first time in my life, I sat in the steam room. Daddy likes it!! Actually loosened my knee up and its more comfortable now than I can remember, short lived im sure, but unless someone gives me a valid reason not to, Im going to do it a few days a week. Ill also start swimming this week. On a side not, I happened to see the deadlift bar pre loaded with a 45 on each side. Light weight I know, but I wanted to see how the knee would handle it. No complaints so it might be time to start throwing them back in the mix again. THAT will change things for the better and fast. No weigh in, Ill wait until next week. And maybe, if @SFreed behaves..an updated picture.

Do you ice your knees? A lot of people don't do this and when they start doing it religiously they say it is surprising how much difference it makes. Also, I have seen people in my family with severe issues that had good results from E-Pharm Joint Force or Evomuse Injure-Eeze. It may be worth checking out.

Oh yeah the only concern for a steam room is that it temporarily increases BP a decent amount from what I understand.

So todays update is a little shady. The last 2 nights at work have been ridiculous!! RI-DI-CU-LOUS!! Anyway, due to being so busy last night(Sunday into Monday) I never had time to eat dinner. I got in the bed at 0630, woke up at 1PM and headed to the gym. I had an amazing workout! Arm day!! I also weighed in, and only down 1lb to 220. HOWEVER..I noticed today while lifting, the veins in my shoulders down to my Bicep are starting to show again, a few striations in the shoulders and showing some definition in my forearms. Anyway... I decided to try something different today. I saw where @delsolrob mentioned to @enhanced that the product can cause insomnia....soooo I got in the shower at 4PM, and applied my daily dose after drying off. I have had a slight headache, but not certain if its a slight elevation in BP, or because Ive virtually been 2 days without food. I finally did eat tonight, around 0130. 1.25lbs of ground beef, that I premixed with bacon and cheddar cheese before cooking, and topped with 2 fried eggs. Ive also continued to notice that I tend to wake up “fresher”, even today waking up 2 hours earlier than normal. Plus...the decision has been made to go for my first attempt at a genuine leg day Thursday..itll be the first one in MONTHS!!! Ill be in bed in 3.5 hours(0630) and at 1 Ill do it all again. CHEST DAY!!! If I feel as if theres a significant difference, Ill post

So, that has about 120 grams of protein in one shot. I bet that was damned good and filling...even after not eating for so long.

I love me some avocado!! BUT....carnivore diet wont allow it. But next time I make them, Ill hit you up, have a couple more made, and well tear dem things up together..Ill add avocado on yours. And maybe something cold and refreshing!!!
