Day 18 of 80mg Anavar

Glorious leg day today. I’m fucking kinda nuts, I work at a gym, but when I got out at 2, I rode my bike 7/8(?) ish miles to the YMCA to crush legs..I just wanted to train and not deal with anyone...
Started off with Front Squats. Felt really strong. Worked up to 315 for 2 for a few sets. My legs can do much more, the the bar rolls forward and my core gives out a bit before the legs. But I think a strong front squat is more impressive than a back squat!
Then I did box back squats. Aaaand I worked up to 495 for a single! Felt insane to have that weight on my back and get it up. So I’m definitely shooting for 455 ATG next time.
Then some Romanian Deadlifts...worked up to 495 for an easy 3...I feel so strong it’s amazing!!!
Then just did some leg extensions, hamstring curls, and calf raises. And went to abs..an roller with my knees on a bosu ball and cable crunches.

I finally got the dreaded back pumps Anavar is famous for. I forgot my Taurine today and they came on during Front Squats..I had to sit down a ton and they were really brutal. Not fun especially with my excercise selection haha
I then rode my bike 10 miles home..that’s the character building part of my workout lol..riding the bike home after leg day
Tomorrow should be OHP but I’m tryna get with this chick at my gym and we might do some running tomorrow lol

haha thanks brother. yeah i stay pretty lean year round..but this coming fall and winter im planning on putting on some size...i mean, you have to to grow right? i will not let myself get fat but i can afford a little weight.. im 200lbs right now, i could get to 220 and still be happy..im not tryna be a mass monster, i like being ripped and looking/being strong. you can be all show/all go too! haha.
im thinking tbol/npp and mk677 to help me eating. but we'll see!

Also wanna report that I talked to this chick who does bodybuilding shows about doing a show and she wants to get a little crew going. I’m definitely considering it as I miss the feeling of just wanting to get muscle and abs training in my basement for years...I was so hungry for it, maybe this’ll give me the hunger I need!

Thanks dude!! I had a sneaking suspicion that Anavar was exactly what I was looking for and so far it’s been perfect. I feel great on it, no bad mental sides, not getting bloated at all, and the strength is definitely there!!

Yo I just got 225lbs on standing OHP, I did use a little body language, I did a little dip not with my legs but with the bar..I kinda slingshot it. Not a push press but not exactly a strictnpress either. This is seriously a big day lol...I’ll video that **** next week

I’d be happy to help you in any way possible brother! It’s crazy cuz I don’t count calories or macros or subscribe to a certain diet. I credit it to years of boxing, cycling, and running before I really got obsessed with lifting, and I try to keep it up to this day!

Day 20

Today was a cardio day.
Started off with a 15 minute jog. Moved onto to jump rope, then box jumps, repeated those 3 times. Threw in some ball slams and kettlebell swings then finished it off with sprints.

I actually trained twice yesterday. This chick I’m wicked into invited me to check out her gym so of course I went. Hit the bag, and did some sled drag machine. And had a nice talk with her after...I can’t wait to ...you know. I’m gonna be a gentleman about it cuz she’s a sweetheart.

My favorite day today. Deadlifts!!!

Hit 545 for a pretty easy single. Then got it for 2. I’m loving the strength I’m getting from this Var! Every day I can’t wait to get in the gym and train. People are staring at me. I don’t necessarily like that but I’m learning to embrace it because I work here now. I was deadlifting and this old lady was straight up staring lol, I felt bad cuz I had chalk all over the place and my shins were leaking blood from the bar hitting my shins. I didn’t want her to complain so I apologized for slamming the weight and it was all good lol. I’m going to start going for PRs. The Var is in full effect.
This isn’t an advertisement for Anavar but god damn, steroids are amazing lol

I’m not doing another chest workout without reverse grip bench. I haven’t done them in years and I had totally forgot how much they activated a very hard area of the chest to hit. I could see just from my pump after how it filled out my upper chest fantastically. Thanks for the tip, I probably would have forgotten them forever.

Ohh ****! I’m stoked to hear you tried em and they worked for ya! Yeah I can really feel it in my upper chest with those in a way that nothing else does. The other thing is those low to high cable flies...do those as a finisher and there’s no way you won’t get that sick upper deck look.
I gotta start doing the reverse grip bench more..it’s just really awkward at first. Say what you will about him, but Mike OHearn reps 405 with those. He insists they hit the tris primarily but I feel it in my upper chest way more

I recalled that it did but not to the degree that I noticed Wednesday. But also, my tris were toast after that since I did parallel bar dips with 2 plates on my lap, and close grip incline and reverse grip pull downs. Destroyed.
I do a lot of flye work, my chest is always unbalanced bigger since I feel it looks better that way, but absolutely I do the low to high first and then follow with the flye machine with the seat dropped all the way to the bottom. Pretty much do zero lower chest emphasis. Dips do plenty for me. And My chest is my strongest body part.
OHearn is stupid strong. I’ve seen videos still in his late 40s just moving absurd amounts of weight.
I really don’t care who claims natty and who doesn’t, I definitely have never hated on a guy that’s been able to leave bb’ing and venture into acting and prime time TV sport shows. I’d do the same thing until the money train stopped and then I’d fess up about what PED’s I used.

Yeah, I don’t hate on the guy. He’s successful as ****, and he lifts hard as hell. I love his power building style. I’m sure he claims natty because of his idea of his reputation. He came up when drugs were much more hush hush and it’s obvious the guy works super hard so people wanna discredit that.

My chest was **** up until like 4 months ago I really cranked up the volume. I was more concerned with my numbers on the bench but I was actually screwing myself by not doing Hypertrophy. I was watching Dan Green videos and he stressed the importance of it..so I’ve been doing 2 days. One chest/tris and one shoulders/chest with more focus on high volume and dumbbells/flies/pullovers. It’s paid off for sure and my bench has gotten stronger.

I hit some reverse grips yesterday after flat bench. I fucking love em. I used to do them a lot a few years ago but kinda just stopped. It’s a tough movement, mainly unracking the bar, but **** it works. I only went up to 225 for reps but it felt great.
Hit 315 for 3 singles. The third time, my lats failed on the way down so I missed it. So I did it again and got it pretty good. It’s a mental thing..I can bang out 5 reps on 275 but when I put 3 plates on there it seems like so much more. I think because when I started lifting, a 315 bench was one of those things where I didn’t know if I could ever do it haha. By the end of this cycle I wanna be repping it. And I will dammit!
Hit some weighted dips, worked up to 3 plates for 5..then the RGBP. This gay dude showed up at the gym and is clearly looking at me all the time so I just did some supersets on the cables with chest flies and overhead tricep extensions.

It’s funny, I notice chicks staring sometimes, but I get more attention from dudes lol. Mostly praise, but there are the creepy gay types. But hey, I really don’t give a **** lol. I’ll take it as a compliment and keep it moving!!! But it’s getting to the point now where everyone in that gym knows me and I can’t stand talking when I train so I’m mostly gonna work out at the other gym.

Gonna take the day off and have a cheat meal tonight. My midsection is looking tighter than it’s ever been, fucking veins everywhere, so I’m earning that meal for sure!

donkey calf raises with 180lbs of kettlebells hanging off my dip belt. i do these slow and i do like 20 reps. they make my calves sorer than anything else

i mean, this Var is incredible. I dont credit it all to the Var because i was doing all this before, but the way the weight feels and the confidence attacking the weights was something that got away for a bit.

Hahaha. I ate like a pig this weekend too. Fuckin pizza, burgers, ice cream. Got back on the diet yesterday had some steak, salad, green beans and sweet potato. Honestly I feel a million times better when my diet is dialed in.
I was tryna get a pic that showed the vascularity in my abs but it’s hard to see. Bro I had veins popping out all over my calves after those maguyver-esque donkey calf raises!

Today is a shoulder focused push day and I’m GOING to OHP that 225!

Day 28
Var is definitely in full effect. I look insane! Veins popping everywhere. My arms look so full and hard. Strength is way up. Hit some dead’s, 545 for 3 singles. Chin-ups with 70lb kettlebells for 5 reps! Pendlay rows I only got up to 225 because i don’t do them enough. Today I’m gonna try to get in a solid heavy bench day...and I’ll report back! Happy fourth to everyone!

I kicked it old school today. Went down into the basement where I taught myself how to lift, and built my base at. just a power rack, a shitty bench and some music. i ENJOY lifting angry, and i struggle with getting really pissed at a gym full of regular folk. so i just did some bench press, close grip bench, and reverse grip.
my bench is really awkward, its hard to get a good arch on it, and the height of the pins make it really hard to bench, but i got a few singles of 315. i dont know what it is with the 315 bench, i think i put it on a pedestal MENTALLY that i make it alot harder than it has to be. so heres a video of my second set. it was way harder than normal. i am aware at how dangerous it is, but i kind of like the feeling of having to get the bar up...not something i do often LOL

got to check out a new gym today with my pops. he got me a guest pass. its a brand new, huge, training facility. absolutely gorgeous. hit some legs. got 455 for a single, 3 times.
