Donald Trump running for president

On a Good Note though today President Trump Upgraded SSG Bellavia's Silver Star to the Congressional Medal of Honor. Making him the 1st Living Recipient of the Award for the Iraq war. For gallantry in Battle during Operation Phantom Fury, or the 1st taking of Fallujah if you never heard the operation name. Even though I didn't know the SSG personally. I am happy and honored to know I served right along side him in the same battle.

Both sides are to blame, but I'm blaming Trump now because I believe in "the buck stops here." If somebody wants to be the boss of a company or the leader of a country, they need to take responsibility when it's their time to lead and not just give themselves credit for wins. Republican representatives kick and scream about a mass of cells that may or may not be born, but have no problem with this current situation involving actual children. I get it, a lot of children show up and we don't have many options as to what to do with them. But the least we can do it treat them equally as humanely as we do rapists and murderers in prison. We should treat them better, but we're not even at equal to that.
the last I checked the democratic controlled congress hasn't been setting the house on fire with proposals or bills to remedy the situation. maybe you could enlighten me with pending bills the dems have?

actually I remember them saying there is no crisis at border, trump is manufacturing a crisis. and now that they acknowledge it is a actual crisis they point all the blame at trump.

mayor pete on why he is against college for free...I have a hard time getting my head around the idea that a majority who earn less because they didn't go to college would subsidize a minority who did.

mayor pete was promptly booed by the democratic audience, lol.

democrat debate...basically MSNBC hosting future MSNBC hosts.

HA! Mayor de Fuqusallio "accidentally" quoted Che Guevara last night.

"I did not know the phrase I used in Miami today was associated with Che Guevara & I did not mean to offend anyone who heard it that way. I certainly apologize for not understanding that history," de Fuqusallio

Accident my ass

In other news, NYPD hates de Fuqusallio, just look it up. Actually, all of NYC hates him other than poor people and foreigners who were manipulated into thinking they are getting the universe for free and that he is saving the ghetto from drowning under water and turning into New Orleans with their new "Green new Deal."

all 10 raised hands when asked if welfare for all would include illegals.

I wonder how many of them would adopt a family AND pay for it, let them stay safe in their own homes behind the protection of their BIG walls, lol

I bet Pelosi lives less than a couple of miles from a homeless camp, why isn't she more concerned about American citizens including vets..last i heard politicians are supposed to represent the interests of the AMERICAN people.

What news do you watch? There is literally a bill getting passed this week that Trump has threatened to veto.

You're talking about two separate things. The Democrats didn't think the influx of immigrants was a crisis, the Republicans did (of course there are always exceptions on both sides). The Democrats are calling the camps that are holding children in horrible conditions a crisis and the Republicans are trying to pass the blame.

I feel bad for Yang. Apparently they were cutting his mic. He is the only one if the bunch that doesn’t come off as insane to me.

What are you talking about? You just said it's going to pass. Maybe now the Republicans can go back to worrying about protecting and funding the country that had the biggest role in 9/11.

Well then it's 4 more years of supporting countries that attacked the US, 4 more years of supporting the torture of children, and 4 more years of supporting socialist welfare programs, and that includes social security, medicare, and the VA.

4 more years of global genocide.

Well that's going to happen regardless. Just in this case, we're selling weapons to the people who attacked us so they won't have to use passenger jets this time. Oh and 4 more years of saying screw first responders because "all lives matters" is just a bumper sticker like the rest of it.

Just to specify here I don't quite feel much different will happen either way the election turns out. The immigration laws and ways immigrants are handled haven't changed much since Trump took over so that is a bit goofy to claim it's this administrations fault. Unfortunately one thing that has made the ordeal more difficult to handle is the mind boggling increase in illegal immigration and those seeking "asylum". The funds, manpower and amount of usable housing for the people who chose to come over illegally are just depleted and overwhelmed. This problem is so far beyond a right or left issue. As one of the few people who comment on this topic that has witnessed first hand how terribly open boarders works out for the countries who have it I for one can say just entertaining the thought of allowing it is destructive and laughable. The first time I visited Europe it was amazing and truly breathtaking. Fast forward 2 years and just after the epidemic they endured when Syrians and all other immigrants took over the streets and towns of the same areas I had visited before and it was a disaster and visiting the area was nothing to be desired. Just speaking to the locals who were completely fed up with the fact their government chose to allow the crisis to happen and truthfully told me they wished they had someone with enough balls to say enough with being so friendly to immigration like Trump. I'm not kidding either that was the overwhelming response I was witnessing from the locals. They felt the same as most of us about Trump. Don't care for him as a person but love that he has a no bullshit response to issues and addressed the things he promised he would.

Just to add. All the goofballs I hear screaming walls are immoral and claiming anyone supporting immigration laws are terrible need to be introduced to the streets of Paris and see a few different areas of Germany that have been destroyed by the government being to relaxed on immigration. There's many areas in Frankfurt, Germany that make Detroit look like a resort community.

What's wrong with the streets of Paris except the mass amounts of people taking selfies?

google image-paris muslim immigration.

I heard there are entire streets where non-muslim people arent allowed to go. I remember it was a big deal for the police to enter when that terrorist attack happened a while back.

in all fairness there are areas here in the U.S that police won't enter without a large number...mostly democrat controlled areas.

Fox and CNN both falsely claimed there are "no-go zones" and had to apologize for the lies. They don't exist.

you should win a prize for including both fox and cnn in same sentence.....I bet there are people who would say there aren't any no-go places here either, but cops aren't going in alone without backup-lots of backup.

still the same lovely place it was when I was there back in 79?
Get off google and go find out yourself. I'm sure it's changed, but that's not 100% because of immigrants. It's changed a lot since 2002 when I was there for the first time, but so has the rest of the world.

if I were to go there I wouldn't have an expense account paying the bill, I would be staying in a cheap hostel...I am sure my experience would be much different than yours.

You're yet again combining two different things. Where is a place in the US that cops won't go because a community is mostly Muslim? Name one.

I can name places that cops won't go without backup because of white, US citizens either being neo-nazis or militia nuts. Does that mean white males are the problem. Or am I supposed to say Republican controlled areas to disguise what I really mean?

LMAO I went on my own dime this last time. Am I supposed to be ashamed of having companies pay for my travel when I go for business? Who paid the time you went in 79?

no shame, actually i'm kinda jelly...but it doesn't change the fact that your experience is going to be much different than someone travelling on a budget. being from Chicago you should know that what side of town you hang at is a big deal, lol.

Honestly it's mostly seeing the inside of an airport and hotel with very little sleep and then back on a plane. I fear the only reason your experience would be different is because you seem to have already made up your mind. Of course you need to always be aware of where you are, but you're going to get a more authentic experience staying in moderately-priced places. People paying a bunch of money to stay as close to the Champs-Elysees as possible are not seeing the real Paris.

The reason I asked the original question of what is wrong with Paris isn't because I don't think it has zero problems. It does have a lot of immigration issues and it has a lot of people upset over what is being done with their money. Personally, I haven't had issues there. Now Madrid and Barcelona, I have lost count of how many times friends have been pickpocketed there.

They probably are, but first, that's different from the no-go zone conversation. Not going at all is different from not going without a lot of other people covering me.

I'd say most of the more dangerous areas of the US, especially cities are usually Democratic. I don't think there's a direct correlation there though. You have race, redistricting, gerrymandering, busing, etc and a long history before we got to 2019.

I know you do lol. Who called her out? I've seen a lot of things getting thrown back and forth since the debate.

My stances and examples remain the same as what I made clear in my comments. I was not saying all of Paris is a pit but if you have visited in the past and then visited in the last 4 years denying open boarders did not have a lasting impact on the area is definitely false. Truthfully Paris was just one of the most obvious examples that don't even need to be visited in person to know the area has been hit hard. A simple Google search as mentioned will bring up plenty of media exposure of the problem. I'm not saying to go visit fox news articles either you can look at plenty of unbiased and independent journalists that have reported on the issue. But in my personal experience Frankfurt was probably the worst example I was unlucky enough to witness. Just from my first initial to Frankfurt in 2013 to the latest ones in 2016 and 2017 you could see parts of that city turn into a complete disgusting shell of the beautiful flourishing place it once was. I personally noticed such an increase in homeless people camped out all over in some areas and dirty syringes and feces all over. I left that city so disgusted and overwhelming happy to be getting far away from it.

Hence why I tend to get a bit irritated when I hear people speaking on immigration and topics without having the slightest clue the actual lasting impact what they are pushing for actually has on the areas who have already learned the hard truth and impacts. I'm well aware that open boarders doesn't create all problems and sometimes other factors like the economy play there parts in these issues. But there are some tells that are too obvious to overlook when observing these problems. It also helps that I wasn't just visiting but was actually working with locals during my 2 week stays each time. They were very open in discussing the causes and reasons these areas were plagued with the new found issues they were experiencing.

To me I truthfully just can't grasp why some people claim being intelligent enough to advocate having a boarder wall and common sense immigration policies in any way makes someone racist. It is also laughable that people think because we believe we should have barriers and policies in place we somehow feel that will completely solve the issue. The point of having these things in place is to deter and prevent the vast quantity of illegals entering. While opening up resources to tackle other avenues such as tunnels and barrier jumpers or those who have found holes in the system both pun intended and not.

Politicians are simply weaponizing the term racist in order to gain a greater agenda. Obviously there are alot of people who couldnt care less and why stand down orders at the border have been given in the past.

Personally, I dont want a wall, they can use that some day to keep us in.

I think the problem is that illegal immigration is encouraged and laws are not enforced for the most part. Cities are protecting them including smaller areas where I live. The USA is a socialist country and Id opt to remove these policies as well or have them optional where only people that buy in get benefits, not simply a right for a citizen.

Another idea is to have the USA war machine stop intervening in foreign countries and propping up their own puppet drug dealing governments and corporations who go there and rape and pillage the resources of the locals.

I dont think the majority of wall people are racists though, just disagree with the policies and solution they support.

Apparently though you're for open borders if you're not for a wall lmao
as has been shown in this thread repeatedly, there are exceptions to everything...but generally speaking I think this is true.

kamala harris was not the poor victim she represented herself as being....she is also way to young to have been in the 2nd wave of bussing, I know this because bussing was going on when I was in high school and my school was involved in it. add in the fact that she did attend the Berkley school system for 2 years, but her family moved to Canada and that is where she spent most of her school years...her parents are both professionals and she did not have a childhood of poverty...I saw yearbooks of school she attended in berkeley-before bussing, and it looked VERY racially integrated to me.
