Your more than Welcome to come with me anytime brother.I’m Super Happy for everyone that attended to the Arnold classic this past weekend! I pray and hope next year, that I can experience the Arnold classic with some of you Guys and Ladies.
Thanks brother. I will try to better incorporate that. Tonight was kinda just a throw together, since my daughter had karate. But, I can incorporate what you said into better meals in the future when the wife is in a rush. The most important meals you eat for building muscle is the one you eat 1 hour proir to training and the meal after training. You really need to eat a meal..not a snack..a meal within an hour of training. You will see a big difference in growth...especially on gear.
I trust you brother. Today was all seafood because of Ash Wednesday. Otherwise it would have been chicken, rice, and beans. Thats how I got the Fish, Rice, and Beans from watching you eat in the truck this weekend. Lol. I also been adding boiled eggs every morningSee what you had there for lunch...eat thst s.o.b 6 times a day. Today was a bad cheat day for me. But I eat double your lunch portion, with chicken instead of fish, 6 to 7 times a day. My snacks are usually..eggs, or wheat, or oats. You will be amazed at what a diet like that can do to a person on gear...im getting bigger, stronger, and leaner..at the same time..except for today..everyone once in awhile you gotta shake the chains off and just smash some food..lol. More cals, more protien dense FOOD..and eat them damn carbs. I want to see you blow up my dude. After the sh1t you overcame, I have no doubt you can achieve any damn goal you set for yourself. Just try it for like 2 weeks. Beef, chicken, fish, or pork with 1 cup of rice 6 times a day. Eat boiled eggs for snacks. Mix some beans in with your meals...just chunk all that stuff up dump some hot sauce on it and fire it down..dont matter if you aint hungry..eat it. Do it for 2 weeks..you gonna be like "what the hell have I've been doing"? Trust me buddy, it works

Well he is a very large motha trucker. And alot bigger in personLol, just one thing (cause for adding size it’s hard to disagree much with this) but your calorie requirements are likely to be significantly higher than most of us mere mortals, you know on account of you being a big ole muther trucker haha........

Thats a good point and I appreciate that, yes my wife pan fried some fish and shrimp for dinner. We use extra virgin olive oil for everything. But, I do see your point, and will keep that in mind. You really need to watch out for that. Make sure when your adding up your makros your not just calculating the fish, or even the ingredients that make up the batter. That stuff absorbs fat as you cook it so if it's pan fried in sunflower oil it will absorb a few tablespoons of the oil easy. Doesn't seem like it if it's crispy but it's still there and a few table spoons of oil will add hundreds of calories to your total.
even if it's bought pre battered and oven cooked there is oil there in the mix before you cook it.
Having said that it's great your body fat is coming down. If what you are doing is working that's great. I found when I was cutting fat that when I was getting super low like 175lbs or below these things would catch me out.

Note: Just to make it clear not to be argumentative, when we fry things like fish or shrimp. These things are ran through an egg wash, and battered with a breadcrumb coating then placed in a pan with about a 1/2" of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. These foods are NEVER Deep Fried in a traditional sense like in a vat of oil and submerged in a basket. As an alternative you can get reasonable results by oven baking the fish with a breadcrumb coating - honestly it’s not as good as deep fried but you get some of the crunchy coating goodness but can completely control and track the calories.
I use it on calamari occasionally where I’ll coat the squid rings in half a tablespoon of oil, then cover in whole meal breadcrumbs with seasoning mixed in, then bake at a really high temp for 7-8 mins.
Using a beaten egg to coat whatever your cooking and then covering with the bread crumb mix works well for larger pieces of fish as well

Thats a good idea. Thank youWhat I’ll do if I’m getting really serious about keeping track is add 2 tbls of olive oil. This helps get a crispy edge with very minimal calories added plus you get the healthy fats of the olive oil.
Just make sure to get olive oil with this seal, or similar. If not the olive oil is most likely cut with canola oil.Invalid Link RemovedThats a good idea. Thank you
I only get top end olive oil, and read every label of every product I ever buy. Thats why my wife hates me shopping cause I take for ever and I refuse to buy some of the stuff she will buy.Just make sure to get olive oil with this seal, or similar. Wow, dont think I could ever do that. 1. Because blended fish, and 2. You said you buy fish at the market, all my fish, while frozen in the freezer is all wild caught. We catch everything fresh, filet it, and then weigh it, mark how many pieces per bag, and freeze it.Heres what I do..buy the whole fish at the supermarket. Take it home. Take it out of the package. Place in blender with 4 whole eggs and 2 scoops protein powder and 1 cup whole milk. Blend. Remove bender from base. Bring to mouth. Close eyes and chug that sh1t down. Last step..avoid vomiting. A true warrior meal.
