DC's New Year, New Life 2019

Yes. The last few weeks you lost fat. Do you really think I would praise you now for a 3 week effort, after getting shut up several times, when pointing out failures in training and nutrition? This was not because of a setup, that was way longer ago. You can't be proud of yourself for 3 weeks out of 72 (1.5 years).

IF you learned the lesson, than good, maybe you are not a lost case. Beast did that for you, to open your delusional mind. I was more direct and not as cunning, but got turned down mostly. At last I gave up, just watching you fail and having sort of pity.

What Beast did feels wrong to me, as I feel raped in my azz.

By the way, my PM's got overflow by dozens of members supporting me -but NONE made it public... so, my opinion must have some truth in it -at least for some.

I don't see the changes that should have been made after the amount of time you've put in. In my far from expert opinion, something in your program needs to change.

Man missed all the AM drama, lol, been sick with the kiddos all weekend and eating my birthday cake.

Anyway this pic def shows progress, but food choice wise could improve a bit, but I understand how hard that is with family/work.

Hell just beer, cake, and some chips deluxe keeblers and I went from 220/15% end of gear run, 195/9-10% back to 205/12% now after being out of gym and eating as I please lol.

But soon a new round of form, focus, reps, cuts and clean food begins. Recomptastic. Keep at it!

While on AM, Ive bulked to 360 and cut to 285..where I am now. But I agree with HGP...as I stated before, just not a savage about it. If you changed your diet to rice and chicken 5 times a day...and its alot of chicken..like 10 ounces after cooking, per serving. It will suck...trust me it does..youd be amazed at the results...especially while running gear. As I said before, your training and determination is awesome..you take that, add the correct diet...which sucks..and gear...magic will happen

Did I thumb up/like his food pictures? Heck yeah, because I like the food. Would I eat it as regularly as DC does? Nope. I have my cheat meal every Friday night that’s it. Did I PM HGP? Yup to clarify that I ASKED him not to leave the forum and my post was directed to him because the board needs people like JT and him.

I don’t comment on people’s physiques (typically) after it’s not received well. So, I move on and keep it weightlifting related.

I joined this site I believe at the same time as you, although I wasn't new to gear I did a cycle next to yours and I still remember I used to talk and check up on you how yours went, I was just on test and a little winstrol while you did anadrol, var and test. You're the one I remember mostly from the time I joined. Not only did you lose a lot of weight but you were in wars risking your life and that's not something most people can say. I like to see myself as a nice person or as hairygrandpa once called me *the voice of reasoning*, (not sure about that) but I do try to be. A reasonable person that wants the best for people and comes to a conclusion without offending the person.

I would have taken a different approach then what happened today or I would stay out of it which is the nice way to go but not always the reasonable.

I think you are a little delusional and not because you're stupid but because you refuse to acknowledge the problem. I don't have any problem with you working out and going your own way but I think when steroids are involved it's imperative to make the best out of it. You have a protocol that you made yourself with macros and I'm a firm believer not everything works for everyone but you're not following your own protocol. You're supposed to have high fat low carb but you end up eating more carbs and less protein.

So even if your protocol works you're not following it.

I think we're all here together and we try to help eachother. I don't agree or like how this whole thing played out but I also don't want to see you go backwards especially when you spend money and arguably risk your health on gear.

I'm not gonna sit and tell you how you should look to be happy, nobody should and if they do **** them. What I do think is that you want to see a change and make the best out of it to get the best results for YOU!. I'm not gonna speak for others here but I'm really rooting for you and you shouldn't feel bad about critique and I'm positive that after all you've been through you can do this.

Lastly I wanna say that I made a post earlier that I respect everyone here and I really do like a lot of people but I never came here to make friends. You don't have to like everyone and if this post is in any way offensive feel free to tell me. Even people you don't like may give good criticism.

Sometimes I tell my fiance I added fat because her family tends to feed me a bit too much, she always says no! You look good. I know she'd never tell me anything else and to be honest, i do eat too clean (I'm boring to hang with). I believe you when you say the pictures aren't completely fair, and I do see that you've gotten a bit leaner but you can do better and I'm sure most here agree when I say we're in this together, that's why you have probably 50 regulars following you.
 
Wow it’s been a busy day In here I see. All I have to say to all of this is: “if I logged my diet the past 3 months you all would crucify me”. No joke.

Thank you. That was a better way of coming at the issue, and I can understand that. That Test, Abomb, Var run was my last bulk on here. But, I do see where your coming from

I thought this came up before and cowboy said something to the effect that - he knew how he could change his diet to get more results BUT this way he can enjoy life without being hamstrung by a diet, as a lot of us are, and still make the progress he can appreciate. We all have an idea of how quickly we "should" be progressing, but we should also remember that my idea isnt the same as the next guy. And what I need to accomplish to be happy is going to be more or less than the next guy....period. it has been acknowledged that food choices could be better by all parties. In my mind macros are off from what I would want but nobody is pigging out on sugar and crap....still sticking to real foods for the vast majority. Imo, I'd argue against saying "no progress" as I believe I can see some changes. "Not enough progress" is a matter of personal opinion. At the end of the day I have a hard time coming down on someone doing what DC is....volume of his workouts are crazy when I look at them...hes working hard, consistent, clearly committed to this and not a 6 month fitness advocate and back to donuts...this is why I LOVE the gym. You go in and theres jacked dudes, obese people, skinny, in shape, out of shape etc. But they are in the gym trying to make a better person. They are NOT sitting on the couch eating ice cream bi+ching about their diabetes, or weight issue, or aching joints/muscles....they are trying to change. If your having a good life and making the changes that make you happy- nobody's comments should really upset you anyway, right?

All that said I see where grandpa is coming from and personally love that approach. Be blunt and put it out there - that shi+ drives me. Men disagree, men fight, then we have a beer. We are not women. Hate to see anyone go quiet over this.

Soooo... Now we know your previous plan was an amazing ruse can we expect you to point out that hash browns etc. play no part in getting shredded or are you sticking with the "I'll compliment his choices so that others will step forward" technique?

I hope you don't do the same if he has poor exercise form because he could come to serious harm.

What exactly is your goal. A lot of critisism flying around on here but I've looked back to the start of the log and apart from stating that you will smash 2019 and that your getting ready for your next cycle I can't see any goal setting. Are you trying to reach a certain weight or Bodyfat percentage? Or is it more about recomp and/or muscle growth?

Funny thing is, I am one of the most transparent people on AM, I have the ballz to post pics, training, food. Everything. I have repped for a one company here for a short time, and left cause it was a joke, and just became a Tier Operator for one thats not on the board. I have never pushed products in other peoples threads that I have repped for. I am completely honest in all my reviews of a product, and will tell people if a product is good whether I rep for the company or not. Today after waking I come on here, and my thread is getting blown up for being fake, pushing products, and not being dedicated enough. And that was by someone I respected, and gave alot of props to since being on this board. I don't know what kicked this all off. All I know was I got a huge DM from him over the night bashing my food choices, that I did not see till this morning. I will continue my log starting tomorrow, and I appreciate everyone that follows along. But, I will not filter a pic, or suck in or try to hide anything. My pics may not always be the best. I take them myself, and I dont always take the best pics. Did I admit to being dishonest? Did beast? All he did was show me alot of people on here's true colors. He didnt deceive anyone. And is it respectful for all of you to follow a drunken old man and attack a member, cause he didnt like something so instead of trying to talk to someone like a human being he went off after admitting to doing Molly, drinking Vodka, and not eating for days....Hmmm. and how has my progress been subpar, WHAT's my goal Mr. KLEEN, tell me that? What did I come here for? What is the end goal of all of this for me. You said you talked to me in depth. But I bet you cant answer that. While I know others that can.

I am also curious about this. If BEAST73's intent was to have people call DemntedCowboy out (which I thought was his purpose), why hasn't he come in and apologized for setting this whole thing up and having it blow up like it did?

And no hard feelings DemntedCowboy. But I felt like you were challenging everybody after 4 pages of rants, so I stepped up with my opinion. Would I follow the same diet that you have been? Nope. Not if I wanted to make a change in my body style. But don't call people out, and then get all defensive when they answer.

Beast noticed people were being judgemental, a nice guy as he is he tried to get people to stop. Now I agree that it was a very bad way of doing it and I think it became one of these things you tell a bullied kid by saying (I tell everyone you have a dad that's a world champion boxer) and they will start to like you.

A better way would be to not tell DC the intentions and instead just be the guy that steps in to protect someone else without telling the person (dc) it's actually true.

Granted I'm not saying anyone was bullying by suggesting diets, not saying anyone is bullied just making a comparison. I don't think there was an agenda just a mistake made by a grown man that came out a bit wrong. I also think beast shouldn't have told everyone else this as it becomes more pity toward DC.

I don't know why people are so upset but hey I'm Swedish, nothing offends me.

I try not to be overly judgemental...in my 21 years of sobriety I have sponsored at least 20 members of AA, at least 18 of them have failed at some point but most have kept on trying and a few have actually succeeded. I don't get hurt feelings when someone I have put time and emotional support into goes back to drinking-it just reminds me how blessed I am to have remained sober when many have not.


cowboy is a survivor, even if his diet is not up to par I still have the highest respect for the man!!!

Myself and many others have all said (in a supportive way) that your nutrition could be better on several occasions. If you’d just asked the question ‘what do you all think of my nutrition’ I guarantee you 90% would have replied in a similar way. No need for the games at all.....

You know my view, my previous post is the only thing before this one I’ve posted on it (no pm’s sent, if I won’t say it to someone I won’t say it behind their back) and that came from a position of wanting to help you.

You make a good point about what’s your goal? And that’s valid, I actually often tell the people I train that if the goal is to look ‘ok’ then you can eat ‘ok’ and get there, but if you want to look great you gotta eat great. Actions to match the goal.

For me (said this in my previous post as well) the use of the gear is where that falls down. If your goal isn’t to get shredded or build a lot of muscle then you simply don’t need the gear to achieve it. It’s perfectly fine not to have those goals, I’ll support anyone working towards any goal but running cycles with anything more than trt (even sensible cycles like you do imo) is just unnecessary health risks if that isn’t needed. After the stuff you’ve been through I don’t wanna see you mess yourself up for no return. For me, and I’ve said this to loads of others on this forum, if your gonna mess with your body you gotta be trying to get the most bang for that buck.

Doesn’t mean getting it right every time but imo if things aren’t working then you have to look at changing them. My last cycle I managed to get fat with what most would consider a nailed down diet and 35km of running a week lol - but next time I’ll do something different as that wasn’t the result I wanted. Chados actually pointed out the bowl of fruit I was eating at night probably wasn’t ideal (certainly at that time), I don’t eat that anymore as he was probably right.

Point being you don’t need mind games and stuff to get honest advice, you got enough people rooting for you to just ask brother. Ok HGP and one or two others came in with a tougher love approach than id personally use but everyone else has said the same things in what I’d consider a pretty respectful way.......

It’s perfectly fine not to have those goals, I’ll support anyone working towards any goal but running cycles with anything more than trt (even sensible cycles like you do imo) is just unnecessary health risks if that isn’t needed. After the stuff you’ve been through I don’t wanna see you mess yourself up for no return. For me, and I’ve said this to loads of others on this forum, if your gonna mess with your body you gotta be trying to get the most bang for that buck.

Doesn’t mean getting it right every time but imo if things aren’t working then you have to look at changing them. My last cycle I managed to get fat with what most would consider a nailed down diet and 35km of running a week lol - but next time I’ll do something different as that wasn’t the result I wanted. Chados actually pointed out the bowl of fruit I was eating at night probably wasn’t ideal (certainly at that time), I don’t eat that anymore as he was probably right.

Point being you don’t need mind games and stuff to get honest advice, you got enough people rooting for you to just ask brother. Ok HGP and one or two others came in with a tougher love approach than id personally use but everyone else has said the same things in what I’d consider a pretty respectful way.......
I went without gear for the years before I got on here to slim down from 212 to 168 on my own. But I was diagnosed with low T after the war. Something alot of Combat Vets suffer from surprisingly. The roids have helped me heal quicker, and are helping me get to where I wanna be. Do I wanna be a greek god, No. Do I wanna lift 700 lb bench, No. Do I wanna be the best me I can be, and in better shape than I was before I got hurt, Yes. Thats why you can go look at every log I have ever done here, and you will see I never did anything crazy. Can my food choices be better at times, Sure. Everyones could be. Why, do I say if you have an issue with me or something I do then PM me, because this aint wine hour, after hours of the local Hooters. Hens, cackle in public. Men settle their differences man to man. And obviously we can see from what happen here, some people overreact over the dumbest sh*t. Now, after talking to some people I am working on changing a few more things that are within my control so to help myself out some more. I'm a married man that works 5 days a week. I am up at 345am and get home at 5pm. My wife being disabled too, is a house wife and cooks dinner, takes care of our daughter, and gets to the gym when she can but she is doing it because she see's how much it has helped me. I just wanna lift, heal, be the best me possible, and maybe motivate a few that are struggling.

I didn't follow a drunken member into anything. Bust73 let it out that both of you had been secretly manipulating and deceiving us to see who really didn't think you were doing that great... That is what pissed me off and brought this down. You want to blame someone for me calling you all out then blame your buddy Bust73 for outing the deception... Effectively stripping away any appearance of integrity either of you had before that. So if my anger seems out of nowhere, it wasn't. It was generated by both of your admittance to that deception and manipulation.

I never said I spoke to you in depth about your goals. I spoke to you in depth about your diet, we, you bust73 and I went back and forth over it. Do I know your goals. Yes right now it is to cut. If i remember correctly during the challenge it was to get leaner.

Do I know your exact overall goals. No I don't but I don't need to in order to see that you have not made noticeable progress in pictures. So no progress or very little in 2 years of running cycles if pretty horrific. Like I said before unless the goal is a Dad bod, then you haven't made much progress at all in 2 years of effort but get condescending when anyone tried to help with a goal you were obviously struggling to gain any traction with.

I think they recently came up with the secret plan I don't think that's been the idea of the whole time.

When I get some cash, I will go talk to the doc that did my wife's tummy tuck, and see what he thinks about it. Thank you, I always felt like it was gyno to, mixed with a bit of chest fat.

I’ve got “boiled” egg for breakfast too! Do you boil yours in a pot or? ...I have a rapid egg cooker which makes them perfect every time and I don’t have to time anything! Makes it easy when I’m trying to do 1000 things at a time! Haha

I boil them in the pot when I wake up in the morning. I turn on the coffee pot and turn the stove on at the same time. By the time its ready for a cup of coffee, its time to take them out the pot.
 
In the Army in the barricks I had one of those electric cookers. Push pin the top of the egg, put a little water in the base and plug it in the wall and 10 mins later you had boiled eggs.

I get up at 0345 and I don't leave for work till 0620, I wake up my wife and daughter so they can get ready for school, and then leave out for the hospital.
 
So anyone gonna be down in the Columbus area on Saturday. I will be down at the Arnold after getting approval from the wife to go
