I would say it depends on the scale you buy. This is my second one. My first one, I can tell you without a doubt it was off.

Yeah I bet. I think a new scale will be far more reasonable than a scale that's 5 or 10 years old and you probably need to pay a little to get the good ones. In wrestling we always used a scale just for weight measurement with a price of 600 dollars.

My first bf scale if your 190, then your 19% bf. 180 = 18% bf. So on and so forth. I had a former training partner who got on it. Was on test, tren, and a few other things. Visible 6 pack, and it told him he was at 23% bf. Hence why, I bought the new one. Lol

Haha yeah I've heard some scales can be a bit off putting. I'll look in to it a bit, not that I care that much since I just go by the mirror but it'd be cool to have one that works!

I use the mirror mainly too, but I do weigh in once a week just to see where I'm at.

Just a thought I had the other day about your training, have you considered changing it up and hitting some lower rep ranges?

I only mention it as I thought over the past year I couldn’t recall seeing a spell of 3-5 rep range (on the compounds) on your logs?

I’m not saying that’s something you should do by the way, just thought I’d throw it out there, especially whilst cutting. Would give a different stimulus which might help preserve or add some lean mass and in my experience it’s never a bad thing to change up training style from time to time.

Just a thought anyways brother. Good to see you making the progress you are - this year will be immense for you.

I just changed from the lower rep range. But normally dont go lower than 5-6 at the fewest. Right now the lower rep will only be the rest/pause until I get to where I wanna be.
