Gaining muscles while losing fat. HGP tries the impossible, watch me fail!

Its not only a positive threat to be so obsessive and masochistic.
3 former training partners quit on me in the last 6 month. My daughter is still on track, but does at least 2 days pause between workouts.
My new training partner is way overweight, 325lbs, he is fighting and doesn't skip a gym day. He lost 30lbs in the last 2 month and gained a ton of strength.
I guess bodybuilding is for me like everything in life. Once I decide to do it, its all out. Same applied when I used drugs (6 years free of that sh1t now, besides some alcohol on weekends).

congrats...6 years drug free is a noteable achievement...if you can handle the alcohol go for it....for me I had to give it all up!!!
 
It's funny but when I work out with people they often tell me my workouts kicked their ass. Even people who do noticeably more volume than I do. I think it is the intensity that I have learned to apply over the years, and that I push them to apply the same level to all of their reps and sets. No going through the motions... no cheats to create efficiency of movement, just direct and FOCUSED work toward the goal.

Exactly! Everything I ask for from a partner, I do it first. Sometimes it spirals into a frenzy, if aggression breaches a certain threshold.
My guess, if we both work out together, only one leaves the gym alive. :)

Even though my mother is a lifelong alcoholic, I never got addicted to anything in my life -and its not for not "trying". As my habit got destructive for my social life and family, I just quit -and later substituted it with gym. A lot of people here on AM did, I recon.

a true addiction occupies a lot of time...it requires a replacement for that time, the gym fills the bill nicely for many of us.

Was thinking what lessons I have learned are the most important, when it comes to AAS.

Here a resume that may help older guys starting cycles:


-Higher BF% = harsher side effects. Would recommend to be at max 20'ish BF% before starting roids
-Do not stack too many compounds, keep it simple
-Do not take too much, especially long esters, they take a long time to get out the system when sides hit
-roids can make you feel sh1tty to the point, you can't get a good workout done, just drop the culprit and switch compounds, try not to "power through"
-recovery time may not shorten as much as you think on AAS, meaning: doing less may give more gains. For me, 3 days a week (4 max) gives me the best gains.
-recently I noted that balancing more androgenic compounds with more anabolic compounds gives me the best "feeling" on cycle (example:Proviron + Deca/NPP)
-slow and steady > fast and sudden (short cycles for growth = bullsh1t, mostly enhanced glycogen storage making you LOOK bigger)

Current cycle:
-400mg/w test
-250mg/w NPP
-75mg Proviron

Duration at least 8-10 weeks.
 
The gym make a nice healthy replacement for many addictions, congratulation to all who discover this!

But now you are mentally primed to execute it next time. You just had to grab and shake your body to say: “this is happening motherfugger” then up it goes!
 
That was a bunch of heavy volume beforehand tonif your list is in chronological order. Try them earlier next time?

Look, that won't do it. I'm just not as strong. You won. :) I have to work on my pushing exercises. Due to a rotator cuff injury a year ago, I got paranoid and don't push heavy anymore -going high volume instead. This way I over-developed my back strength.
Will try to gradually use higher weights for chest -BUT not too high, keeping a rep range of 8-15 (instead of ridiculously doing up to 30 reps).

I don't think there is anything wrong with going to 30 reps but as a part of a program that includes other rep ranges. Hitting 30 reps is awesome for leg mass. Also great in pump work, but as the only thing, not so much.

I tried some the other day and got up to 75x10 but my anterior delts weren't to happy with that set so I called it and went to something else. I will say that round weights suck for this, if you have something with a straight surface to help keep the DB's a little more stable it seems you can go heaver. I think I could have done 85x10 before losing stability if the DB's were Hex shaped or square like the Iron Master DB's. Major difference with the round DB's!!!
 
As I get older the reps go up and the weight goes down.

HMMMMMM HCG? Since TRT my balls are up high and tight like a prepubescent boy... I actually miss the big ugly fuggers!

I always joked about my raisin sized nuts -but for real, they only are a bit smaller. Still hanging when weather is warm, only going up when cold.

Dang, that would be nice. Mine are probably 1/3 the size they used to be and sucked up against the bottom of my shaft... Drastically improved my penis to ball hang ratio though! ;)

Still digesting it, I think, LOL. Training with her is the only thing that really binds us, besides that, she is grounded for at least 6 month. She has to repeat 1 year of school, that lazy princess. Training is a part of her therapy.
The diagnose:
"Acute millennial syndrome with delusional sense of entitlement and aggravated chronically laziness".
Therapy so far:
-smartphone is gone
-communication with "bad influencing friends" was cut
-regular workouts in the gym, to give sense of commitment , discipline -and reward
-mom gave me 100% freedom to execute whatever I see necessary
-got her into sports summer camp too, now she sleeps at 10pm instead of 03am
-we refuse to speak Spanish with her, understanding now only English and German, since this, she makes great progress
-I teach her to cook and clean up afterwards, no more" Mom, I'm hungry."

Her world view is astonishingly sound. She does not endorse feminism, is agnostic and does not subscibe to the multi-gender movement -while remaining tolerant. Her lack of interest in anything other than K-pop and beauty products is the problem. Have to marry her off to a rich guy.

It's hard to find normal kids nowadays, either they try to find an identity by using Instagram, being feminist or some activist with no political knowledge or they are completely living in the world of gaming. In argentina I see some girls that are 12 and wearing some green thing on their backpacks which is a protest against abortion. I mean everyone has the right to their opinion but I would think a twelve year old who doesn't even understand what an abortion is would be the wrong person to speak about it. Most grown up women doesn't even know at what week the kid actually would be considered more than a sperm but they complain that abortiontime shouldn't be shortened yet they don't what it to be too long. I mean ****ing Google it right? Then vote what abortion law you want or do a protest that abortion sucks at any week. sorry I had to vent.

It wasn't until I was in charge. Over protection by the mother paired with complying to my daughters wishes. Adolescents can be very manipulative, nothing a good natured mother can do to shut that off. After talking sense into my wife, she gave me full authority. Now the princess was suddenly a lower ranking "member of the clan". Took her 2 weeks to get out of her room, barricading herself in self pity, where I left her with a lot of books, no tv, computer or phone.
Last time I found her studying ants in the garden. :) That made my day! She don't even ask for her phone anymore.
