Lately I’ve been feeling like something was missing and then I realized I need to get back to logging. And USPLABS just debuted their new sleep/gh product PowerfullPM so thought I’d get a log up and running.

I’ve used so many different sleep aids and each has their own merit-really like the last one I logged and after reading reviews from the previous version of Powerfull and being a big fan of USPLABS I’m pretty excited to see what this can do.

How I’ll gauge this:

I’ll track my sleep schedule per my Fitbit tracking. While there’s error in any sleep tracking method I’m a believer in baselines, so seeing I’ve tracked this way for a long time now it’ll give me a good gauge on how Powerfull stacks up in this regard.

As far as the gh aspect goes I’ll be honest, I have no clue how to track and gauge that. If anyone has suggestions let me know. Otherwise I’ll probably just go by feel.

Per reviews of previous version, it seems like noticeable effects in the gym and appearance seem to come through about one week into the second bottle.

I picked up 3 bottles on the introductory sale. Not sure I’ll run this log for 3 months but I’ll be definitely do a bottle, do a recap and go from there.

Diet has been very consistent since I’ve started bulking again beginning of September-see food diet that is lol. But seriously I’ve been consistent at 400-600 surplus and I’ll keep that for this run.

Other supplements-
Fish oil
Multi
Doctor prescribed additional vitamins c, b12 and d3

Ergonine. Have about 6 weeks left. But have been using for the past year or so, therefore consistency is met and won’t skew findings.

Pre workout

Finished a stim break idk a week or so after I finished the vasoblitz log. Since then I finished off a tub of reign I had left and am about five or six days into a run of ferox right now. I do not keep tons of different product open so ii complete one then start another.

Intra. I have a stockpile of endur3 on hand and I throw so malto in there for intra workout carbs.

Post I use whey-have two tubs of modern protein I just got and finishing up some ******** I got for a song.

Nothing else supp wise:

Training varies depending on my work schedule which changes week to week. But ideally I get 4-6 days a week in.

Been using a 4 day split. Chest,side/front delt. Back/traps,rear delt. Arms and abs, legs.

First go through I go heavy. Second time through light. And repeat. I’ve like dl the results I’ve been seeing with this programming so I’ll keep it going.

Can’t seem to upload the label pics-which is weird bc I literally uploaded a pic to the in the mail thread like ten minutes ago-anyhow I’ll upload when it lets me.

First dose will be later tonight

Original powerfull (I guess the ingredients are the same and they just added PM to the label) was suggested to be taken preworkout as well.

So I dosed 3 caps b4 bed last night at 11. Last meal, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt and oatmeal square was finished at 830.

Wound up falling to sleep at 12.

There wasn’t any of that urging you to sleep feeling you get with most sleep aids. But I wasn’t tossing and turning for a long time either. Just watched the game until around midnight and just went to sleep.

Amount of awake time, light sleep were about the same as they typically are rem sleep was a bit higher than usual but deep sleep was a few ticks lower than normal.

Definitely don’t feel that morning frog but no ready to go crush the day feeling either.

Was a bit hungrier than I usually have been upon waking but nothing crazy.

That’s the first night’s report. I’ll post up training as well as I go through but just wanted to give a rundown of the sleep first.

Workout

Cpl days ago I tweaked my low back-in the dumbyway too. I had my socks on and we have hardwood flooring. Well my right leg slipped and when I grabbed hold the China cabinet my left slipped in another direction and I felt the pull. But felt fine went to bed Monday night no prob. Woke up yesterday barely able to walk without pain.

Went to work did that then hit arms at the gym but o had to do everything seated.

Today it was like night and day back felt like it wasn’t ever tweaked. But went to squat and just the bar didn’t feel right.so went to leg press and two plates didn’t feel right.

Anyhow wound up doing seatedstuff again.

Leg extensions 10x10. 100,115,130,145,165x3,145,130,115

Seated leg curl 10x10. 80,95,110,130,175x3,160,145,130

Seated calf press 10x10. 205

Felt weird having leg day only take 50 minutes but despite all iso movements got a pretty good pump.

Day 2

All statistics are up from yesterday. Time Awake is on par with my average, so no improvement there yet. But light sleep is slightly above average, deep sleep is just above average which yesterday it was below average and rem sleep increased again so its way above average.

Still no lead into sleep feeling which I’m suspecting that won’t be in play. I have no issues with that as long as I’m getting to sleep and it’s doing it’s other benefits.

Later I’ll hit chest and update

Workout

Back felt fine. But didn’t really put it an a position to test it really either today. If feeling good gonna try a back day tomorrow.

Day 3

Everything pretty much the same in sleep area. I got an hour less sleep than usual last night but all of my percentages for light sleep, deep sleep and rem sleep increased while total amount of awake reduced.

While we strive for that magical number of 6.5-9 hours a night, it’s actually more important when the hours you get are in the sleep stages, preferably the deep and the rem stages.

Feel good back wise so gonna give back day a whirl later on

Back felt great but I kept the loads relatively tame. Still had a great workout though.

1 arm row. 5x12. 30,40,50,60,70

Trx row 3x15

Wide grip straight arm pulldown 3x15. 25,35,50

Rope pulldown 3x20. 95,100,100

Rope bent over row 3x20. 40

D handle pulldown 3x20. 30,40,50 per handle

Cable rear fly 3x20. 10 lbs

Db shrugs 3x20. 40’s

Db overhead shrug 3x20. 20’s

Band pull apart 3x20

Went with a pretty fast pace-1 hour

Now I hate even mentioning stuff like this only a few days into a log bc it’s too difficult to say for sure, but I’ve felt alpha all day today-my physique felt tight and strong. Abs were popping post workout as well-but I think my gym has magic mirrors in the locker room bc I did another ab check at home after supper and they’re there but definitely no pop lol

So I bring it up just as something I’ll monitor now. Seems entirely too early for this aspect, if it’s an aspect at all, of Powerfull to have kicked in already. But if this is in fact attributed to this, Well this will definitely be a fun ride

Day 4

Sleep update

After 4 days time awake during the night has definitely dropped from an average of 1 hour 25 minutes per night awake to 59 minute average awake over these 4 days. Percent wise it’s gone from 14% to 11% That’s significant imo but 4 days is still a small sample size but encouraged.

Light sleep average by percentage is around 55% 4 days in average is 57% So a 2% increase on light sleep.

Rem sleep average 19%. 4 days in average is up to 21%. 2% uptick

Deep sleep average 12%. 4 days in average is down to 11%. A 1% drop.

So depending on how you want to look at these numbers you can either say effect is minimal or if you see each percentage as significant than the results are positive. Imo I’m happy with the reduction in awake time, but kinda wished I’d see more upticks in the deep sleep category bc that’s the sleep type that impacts recovery the most and it dropping even at 1% isn’t good imo. But again small sample and from previous reviews of the original you need time to let this build up.

Past two days the sleep data has remained relatively the same, but deep sleep has increased a bit which is encouraging.

Yesterday was a planned rest day but the game was so miserable down 24-0 at half I turned it off and went to the gym and did 30 minutes of incline treadmill.

Backs a bit sore this am after getting up. It’s leg day so really not excited about just going in to do extensions and curls again, so gonna see how it feels later on

Wound up going in but tbh I didn’t do much.

Squatting doesn’t bother me. The motion, as long as I nail the form is no issue. But to be safe I went conservative.
7x7. 45,135,145,155,165,175,185

Tried pulling sumo but 135 didn’t feel comfortable so let that lift go.

Standing bb calf raises 3x15. 185

Again no issues there.

Did do some romans. But 3x10. 45,50,55. And only went to high thigh level.

Finished with a set of single leg extensions 40x30. Doing 2-2,4-4...10,10 rep scheme

Until this back gets 100 I’m gonna have to figure out ways to creative hit hamstrings bc right now it appears the seated curl is the only thing I can do any weight with. Quads will be fine can do squats at low weight fine but presses aren’t a thing I feel comfortable with right now.

Tomorrow is chest. I may play around w/splits this week just to get in but at say 20-30 minutes instead of 60-90. To help rest low back but still keep activity going.

Today’s update:

Everything pretty steady except deep sleep had a 7% spike so hoping that remains elevated going forward.

As for lifting I went in did some benching but I lifted less than I typically warmed up with-just wanted to get something in.

Today’s update

Sleep wise things continue being consistent. That spike of deep sleep leveled back to baseline but that’s fine.

I went in again and just did some light work but I really can’t do much with the back when the backs hurt lol

But I think going in and doing something is good for me mentally. I just remember how pathetic I was back when I was hurt before and just took pain pills and complaining about how life’s unfair.. don’t want to relapse into that place again. But I am taking it extremely cautious with the exercises I choose and picking weights well below 50%. Again just to keep active. Gonna take a cpl full days pretty soon though

All the good sleep stages increased by at least 3% last night while awake sleep plummeted 11% last night. Very pleased with that aspect. And while the sleep aspect hasn’t been what I was expecting it’s solid enough.

Despite my injury situation the feeling of strength is nice. Kinda aggravating though bc I feel like I can do everything but then logic interferes bc just some stuff I can’t even consider right now.

Did a very light seated arm workout today. Some curl variations and some kickbacks 15 lbs and some light pulldowns.

Sleep data pretty consistent. Nothing new on that front.

Back was sh1t last night and this am so went to the chiropractor this afternoon. Felt way better afterwards but he believes one of my discs from b4 is bulging again.

So basically I thought he was gonna ban me from lifting but I was actually surprised when he said I can still do light work for upper body as long as I’m sitting down which is kinda what I’ve been doing. But lower body and abs are out until further notice. He thinks with treatment it could be manageable again in about 2-3 weeks.

So quick update

Very consistent in regards to sleep patterns. Just like I’ve been mentioning.

Felt a whole lot better Friday after the chiropractor but Saturday was hell. I went to a grocery store to get some food bc I felt decent enough and some idiot almost hit me and another woman with his game he was playing with his kids in the cart and I jumped to grab the woman out of the way but then I was screwed. You know you’re moving like sh1t when an 80 year old asked if he could go get me a scooter lol

So yeah rest of Saturday I had to borrow some oxy I was as in Agony. Sunday was so so. Went to chiropractor again today and feel great right now.

But was talking with him and he mentioned I should consider never deadlifting again. That sucks so bad bc I love pulling. But he repeated that if I feel up to it I can go in for light work.

Just playing it safe right now and I have a couple stores to merchandise by Wednesday so gonna make sure I do those b4 thinking about lifting.

Anyhow just wanted to update

I asked him and he said if I do them very light and for reps they could be good but heavy is just as bad as full dl. I even tried convincing him I do it sumo style and he said if I had to use light kb-bottom line he’s anti me doing any kind of pullings. I didn’t ask but I wonder if bent over rows and long bar rows are out too-hope not

Man that sucks. I say do them light weight and see if eventually you cant build up the muscles again to go a bit heavier without pain. Thats what I did.

Got in a quick workout today. Felt good to get back in the gym but I played it safe and used light weights and didn’t do anything the That could aggravate the injury. Came out well. Backs actually feeling pretty good today. Hoping I’ll be back to actually hitting some decent weight again in a week or so.

Prob not gonna get any lifts in for the next few days though as I’ve got two different work projects due by Wednesday. Shouldn’t be a problem if my back holds up. Any lifting on the job I’ll be smart about like instead of carrying the 50 lb boxes across the store I’ll use the carts. That type of stuff.

Nothing new to report on the product though. Everything is pretty much the same

Sorry haven’t been updating ever day. But with my back and a huge work order this week I’ve only got into the gym once since last gym post.

Sleep stats remain the same.

I’m looking forward to second bottle though bc after reading old reviews of the original that seems to be a consistent thing ppl said, it’s into the second that you really feel it.

Just checking in.

Got s full body workout in today. I’m still sore but the treatments have helped tremendously. I’d probably be 100% but I had a huge work week and can’t pass these jobs up bc in this line of work it’s very easy to lose the gigs. A what have u done lately type of thing.

I told my boss I was sick, didn’t want to tell her it was a back thing. So I had 42 stores which is like 60 hours if you plug in time for driving and stores misplacing shipments. I still have about 25 hours left. Normally each store takes me a little over 30 minutes but bc of my issues they’re taking around 50 per store. She was cool though she said I’d earned the credit of extra time since I’ve always finished huge runs entirely earlier than needed. So she gave me an extra week. It won’t take me that long though as my pace has quickened as the week worked on.

Anyhow the way the jobs broke down I had 2 stores I just couldn’t finish yesterday so I finished them but all the rest are in three different areas and made no sense driving 40 minutes for the one set or 25 for the other two. Bc my back was messed and so I could at least show some progress I went opposite of how I normally do things and did the closer stores first and moved out from there.

So I had extra time today and got a workout in. Like I said bc I probably won’t get back in for a few days I did a full body. I’m still being cautious, I went 60% weight but using 80% rep range

Man even so I felt weak af in the beginning of the workout. But got better after a bit. Just felt good mentally more than anything getting one in.

As for the product everything the same sleep wise and haven’t really had much else either yet.

Something to file in the tmi dept and not sure it even has anything to do with this at all but I’ve been going pretty good despite taking some pks or Kratom for pain relief. Anyhow maybe it’s an unintentional benefit bc really I eat boring pretty much the same day in and day out. I’ve cut calories somewhat but still in surplus range I’ve kept everything very consistent despite the lack of lifting.

Anyhow I’ll update again if I notice any changes or when I get another lift in.

Oh here was the lifts I did for full body

Bench
Bent over row. Extremely light prob 40 percent
Leg extensions
Seated leg curl
Standing calf machine
Seated shoulder press
Seated lateral
Seated rear fly
Very lite Db shrugs literally 35 lbs lol
Machine preacher curl
Machine tris

Yeah you’re right. I already am feeling way better but I’ll just keep going light for a few more weeks with an extra rest day or two each week then slowly up the weights after that. I can’t afford to f this up bc lifting is my world right now, I’ve never felt so connected to a “hobby” as my parents call it, in my life. Not to mention the life ramifications of having a effed up spine.

Got a decent leg session in today. Still going light but was able to do some presses without a problem so making progress.

Nothing new to report everything is pretty consistent right now. 1 more day of first bottle and based off reviews of original second bottle is where you start feeling a difference

Tonight will be day 3 into the second bottle.

Really don’t have anything new to report either. All the sleep stats are pretty consistent day in and day out. No real noticeable “feel” changes yet but like I’ve mentioned a number of times I’m expecting a change to come soon as the second bottle is where ppl said us where it’s at based on original product.

But if looking for a one bottle run I couldn’t recommend it simply because nothing really different from baseline yet. But that said I’m hopeful moving forward.

Today I finally got a real workout in.

I still played it cautiously with certain lifts but upped the intensity to about 65-70% and felt good. In addition I added an extra few sets which I hadn’t been doing earlier in the week. I’m gonna still be cautious as to avoid any relapse but I’m happy with the progress today.

Hit shoulder and traps

Landmine press
Seated machine press
Bb upright
1 arm shrug
Rear fly with plates
Side lateral raises
Lying rear fly with dbs

Sorry for the lack of posting this week.
Had a hectic week. Family coming in for thanksgiving a little work and unfortunately one of my best friends growing up passed away on Tuesday. I posted about this on ig, but quickly for those who haven’t seen the post. We were really close until around 28. He met his wife and I was a mess of a human back then. So he took a vacation from me. I never reached back out, so that bothers me a bit and saddest thing is that he recently reached out via another buddy that he wanted to get the band back together so to speak. He died after a heart attack while having a weight loss surgery. If I would’ve known he was so unhappy with his weight I could’ve helped him. But I’m fine it’s all just surreal even having not seen him in so long. Lots of memories of this good times coming back this week.

Anyhow I did get gym time in though. Workouts progressing but still taking it slow, I’m up to about 65-70% on some lifts so almost back. Still not doing deadlifts for awhile per doctors orders. But feeling way better after every chiropractor appt. so definitely a positive direction.

10 days into bottle 2. Rem sleep has really ramped up this week dramatically. It’s up to about 30% a night. All other stats are down though. Was really hoping the deep sleep would’ve gone up significantly by now, but not yet. The spike in rem is great but I’m not sure if it’s from powerfull or a side effect from all the stresses this week-will see moving forward.

I’ve been pretty consistent through the log staying in the 100-500 surplus range-but this week it was literally like a cheat week galore. I tracked but tbh a lot of guesstimates. Way over everyday. But really haven’t gained as much as I thought I would have so perhaps there’s something in this that’s helping in that regard.

Nothing else notable whatsoever though. But we’ll see how things go moving forward

Another update:

Work schedule got a little nuts, worked 9 hours Saturday,10 hours Monday, eight yesterday and 5 hours today and still have about 20 hours that I have to finish by Saturday.

Would’ve been further along but the company I’m working for does all the data input through an app and it went in the fritz around 1. So I got a nice leg session in.

Prob all sick of me saying this but I’m taking things crazy cautious but I’m definitely progressing nicely. Got 185 as low as I could go for most the reps today on squat-and I definitely could’ve gone higher but like I said just taking it slow.

Backs been really good. I’ve been seeing the chiropractor 3-4 Times a week and taking things slow but from where I was to where I am it’s seriously a dramatic difference.

It’s possible that powerfull assisted in my recovery but I can’t be sure bc of taking it slow and the chiropractor appointments. But for having a bulging disc that at the first session my doctor said he’d get me back to normal after a month or so and I’m at least 2 weeks ahead of what he thought, I’m willing to say it may have helped the recovery process.

The increased rate of rem sleep has stayed at the elevated levels of 30-33^ since my last post. At first I wasn’t sure if it was this or a combination of factors including the stress from my friends passing. But it’s been constantly well above my average. Times of awake during sleep has also been under my average. Light sleep ha relatively stayed close to or just below my average but deep sleep is consistently below. Rem an deep are the two you really want rising, so far after 6 weeks I’m only seeing the rem benefits.

No strength gains but not really fair to assess that because of me running limited and cautious lifts but I don’t feel stronger than usual.

I’ve been eating at elevated levels since the stress spiked and with limited sessions you’d think I’d have semi ballooned up by not in the least bit-I’ve gained only about 5 pounds since starting this and normally when I go heavy on the carbs I get a crazy initial spike in scale weight bc carb heavy meals holds the water in. Just haven’t seen this at all. In fact a cpl Different people asked if I stopped bulking bc I’m looking leaner.

Stuff like that is tough to quantify but I do think this has plate a role here bc outside of an extra 4-600 calories a day the past few weeks everything is consistent.

I don’t know tbh what to really think about this so far. I feel absolutely nothing as feel goes and definitely don’t get the easy to fall asleep aspect but as I’ve mentioned some aspects rem, lack if major weight gain in an elevated surplus and the very fast recovery from a pretty major injury are all things I’m happy with.

It’s also somewhat consistent to early reviews that stated the “magic” happens in the second bottle and I’m 2 weeks into the second and have noticed what I’ve mentioned, yet can’t necessarily give complete credit either.

Anyhow just wanted to drop a halftime report seeing I’ve still got 6 weeks of this left and now I have some new aspects to consider going forward.
