Olympus Labs Product Request Thread

I can never decide whether to use a or an when using an acronym that starts with a consonant when you read it out, but sounds like a vowel when you read it as an acronym.
Should be just an A, my bad

Should it though? I wasn't saying you were wrong, I don't know if there's an actual rule on it and it drives me crazy when I am typing.

It just triggered my PTSD of the inner dilemma I have everytime I get to that situation. Lol

Sorry, this is completely off topic. We can continue with the good stuff.

My vote is for "an" when you are saying an acronym and it sounds like a word that starts with a vowel.

As I stated in the Re1gn thread, carbonated is the only way to go for an RTD. And as others have stated, competition for Bang is really all I would be interested in. Monster Ultra breaks down to like $1.40/16oz can at Sam's in a case. Bang usually can't be found cheaper than $2/16oz can. Bang is wonderful, but I use it sparingly for cost purposes and will more often use a powder in a shaker to sip on unless I'm on the go/don't have access to a sink/etc.

I'm the ultimate penny-pincher, though. I view everything at a per-usage cost and that's why I have cases of energy drinks in my garage; gas station is only an absolute last resort for me.

Anyway, I think flavor and price point will be your biggest factors and flavor will even beat out price for most consumers. I would shoot for around 200mg caffeine depending on what other focus/energy components it has (Monster Ultra averages 145mg, Rockstar 240, Bang 300 -- somewhere in the middle would be good to separate yourself). But don't throw a bunch of unnecessary stuff in there -- energy and focus; that's it.

We are looking to be in the 150-200mg caff range

I tried a 3/4 scoop of Re1gn today at work as an afternoon work pick me up and it was perfect. OL could simply put 3/4 scoop of Krusherz in a can and carbonate it and it would be the best energy drink on the market. Plus it could also be used as a RTD PWO and would be the best in that weak category too.

DIfferent categories. If demand for elix1r is there when we get to it, it'll be done :)

I think if you concentrate on for work/gaming/chores/studying strictly

So many awesome noots out there

Let me know if you want someone to sample or review! Haha

That's what original elixir was for and it didn't sell that well to be honest. Trust me, I know all about nootropics, lol. I'll let you know if we need people :)
I still have a few tubs. Only used it once or twice so far. I usually used Focus XT in the mornings at the office and was going to sub this into the role. The flavor wasn't bad, but just not as desirable to my palette as FXT was, so I just never went back to it. Need to make myself bust it back out.

To be honest I thought Elix1r was decent without being revolutionary. I know a lot of people I gave it to here in Australia didn't notice much

I feel like the galantamine isn't really a great noot imo, has some safety issues and doesn't really do much for focus. Bacopa is average imo too as it needs constant and regular dosing for the memory advantages

The thing is with noots is a lot of them have specific synergy and it will be a lot about the testing of it all. May look good on paper but mixing them all up can be underwhelming

And instead of powder pills would be the way to go. A lot of noots taste awful (phenylracetam can actually make me vomit lol) and more easier to sell for convenience!

Caffeine (low dose), a couple of novel but well known noots (noopept, phenyl), good dose of choline and a few herbal noots for mood (I've noticed nothing from ashgwanda at any dose) and or novel stim that lasts longer

I am about to get a bottle of another companies noot formula but I am not sure about it. I've tried everything and all different combos from aniracetam, sunifam, adrafinil, oxiracetam etc with range of doses of choline

Anyways, I've gone on a bit of a rant! Noaddedhormones can feel free to liaise with me with any new ideas :)
