The New Product Release Thread

Yeah 1600cal and blowing a 1/4 isn't what you want when you have allotment lol

Growing season with more kcals, lesss go lol

99% of people just don't have that kind of caloric intake to be able to do that... competing? Yeah I can see that. Everyone else? 400 cals is 1/4 of my day... **** that

That is you.
That does not apply to everyone. Some people have to suffer greater then others to get into shape, or finish off their dieting phases.

Trying to compare yourself to others who you have no idea about their metabolism is comparing apples to oranges. Just because you can eat more then 1600-1800 calories and lose at ease, does not mean the next guy or girl can.

Hell I know girls who can diet on 2300-2500 kcals with ease, and i know some guys who look at a carb and blow up. The human body is not a textbook.

Thats great you have the caloric allotment and carb intake to utilize that protocol for an optimal training session, but that is not the same for everyone who ventures/posts on here.

you guys

You are taking my words out of context; Fact is we are not the majority our goals are in the minority I only included myself as an example not to compare. I did not mean to imply what you claim I meant/implied. For what it's worth and I agree however we can control that and again I have taken a benefit out of reverse dieting which I did bring up.

and us

It blows my mind that people in 2016; STILL have an irrational fear of soy, and carbs in bodybuilding, strongman or powerlifting.. ;)

50-60g carbs pre workout another 30-60g intra and 50-70g post and among friends of mine who compete-with-success and are sponsored by fairly large companies now in those.. that is fairly low in carbs.

300-400 Calories is a drop in the bucket nothing but a light snack meh

They have made several revisions to the style/methods used and in this have changed much over time for the better IMO

Why would we want soy when we could have whey or a w/c blend?

Why would we want soy when we could have whey or a w/c blend?

Is that a serious question?

I would like to know why you think it cannot be apart of a normal/healthy diet? Soy ( Edamame ) has been eaten and consumed in many cuisines for a very long time; and it is easily the 2nd most consumed thing in the US since it or its byproducts are in essentially everything. It's also fed to nearly all your commercial meats/animals.

This is like me asking why do you eat X when you can eat Y because clearly it's so much better tasting.. and why do you prepare/cook it like that when it's inferior. So I am confused by your question I do not think you understood what I said at all since it would seem to me you think I am advocating people buy soy protein isolate or and drinking it? Fear of soy in foods or as part of a diet is fine. The whole pods can be steamed as Edamame and served with butter you squeeze them out of the pods they taste good af and are loaded with protein.

Perhaps you misunderstood what I was driving at; There is simply no reason to be scared of soy or soy byproducts.

Wow that's a lot of inferences. I made a comment regarding a protein bar and that i kind of wish they didn't have soy protein (approx 10-15g per bar). Shortly thereafter you confirmed what year it was and that you are surprised about irrational fears regarding soy. Again, I'd personally prefer my protein bar sources from whey.

It was not targeted at you specifically it was a general statement over the fear of soy.

And for that fitcrunch bar Whey Protein Isolate is the first and main form of protein in it followed 2nd with Whey Protein Concentrate and than after that Soy outside of the first matrix on the labels I have. This leads me to believe not much of it is soy protein to begin with.

A more pressing matter that I want from them is why the OG Caramel everyone raved about has never been back! :( I never got to try it.. and supposedly it was their best flavor.

Gotcha. Yeah the way the labels are written it can be 15g. Either way, now I just want Chinese food.

You ever try Come Ready? They have a very good protein bar in Peanut Butter Pretzel with these mini pretzels covered in chocolate with layers of peanut butter pretty damn good but they also use only Whey Protein Isolate, Concentrate and Milk Protein Concentrate as their protein blend.

Another fantastic option I never see discussed but I have eaten a lot of them "Supreme" their protein bar's are fantastic! They have one flavor came out last year with German Chocolate Cake so damn good uses Whey Protein Isolate Whey Protein Concentrate & Milk Protein Isolate only also. The only soy in their bar's are from the "Crisps" ( You can see them in the shell of the bar which is to say essentially none and is not part of the protein complex ) which are made from a soy as well soy lecithin as an emulsifier. I like their German Chocolate & Peanut Pretzel Twist the most.

I only ever see the chocolate caramel Supreme bar around (which is delicious). I typically opt for one of those or a Fit Crunch if I'm at that point and purchasing a single bar (or 2 lol) and not a box.

Not to profess any fear of soy but since this is a supplement/food targeted at achieving optimal fitness it is understandable that whey would be preferred over soy Invalid Link Removed

None of those products are single source protein just to highlight this ( Fitcrunch bars as an example which is the bar that was discussed or even the Colossal bars I prefer ) and the primary source in them is Whey Isolate and Whey Concentrate, nobody is forcing anyone to buy/eat any of them or any 1 type of food at all. I do not believe having soy as part of one's diet will hinder bodybuilding or any other resistance training style is the only aspect I am really talking about.

Met-RX Colossal which I like the most and use more for the carbs/calories than the protein it's protein blend for example: ( METAMYOSYN® V100 Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Milk Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Dried egg white, L-Glutamine) the Soy in the Colossal is from the crisps which is on the label.

Most people I have ever met eat a variety of types of food even bro diets are including multiple sources of protein typically fish, chicken and beef. I really hope most are getting the bulk of their protein from whole foods.

If you like Coconut that German Chocolate Cake is amazingly good! Their Pretzel Twist is also very good.

CT Fletcher launching a line under Iron Addicts: CT Fletcher’s Sleeve Buster supplement released.

In total the formula behind the Iron Addicts’ pump pre-workout features six ingredients, all of which are 100% transparently dosed and included to help give you a solid muscle pump. The ingredients from heaviest to lightest are 6g of citrulline malate, 2.5g of the branded BetaPower betaine anhydrous, a gram glycerol monostearate, 750mg Nitrosigine arginine silicate inositol, half a gram of beet root, and 150mg of norvaline.

Not surprised after the MP stuffs

They are damn good! I think you will be impressed. I was bit skeptical but Bob delivered on his review they are very tasty.

That is why I do the reviews and provide such detail.
Helps a lot of people with buyers remorse on new products, bars etc... Glad it helped you out in your purchase.
I have a few more reviews going up this week.. so keep an eye out
Rule 1 Whey Blend Pumpkin Spice & Red Velvet also Finish line in Rainbow Sherbert

I would say it's probably quite the opposite... using round numbers for the sake of simplicity, the Whey blend is the first "ingredient" coming from WPI and WPC. Then, followed by soy isolate.

There are 30g of protein per 88g bar correct? So the way the ingredients are listed, it would mean that there has to be more of the blend than there is Soy isolate.

Let's say there is 16g of the blend and 14g of soy protein isolate, totaling 30g of protein correct?

The blend MAYBE has a ratio of 50/50 WPI and WPC meaning the bar would have:

8g of WPI
8g of WPC
14g of soy isolate

This is why, I would imagine, the ingredients are labeled as such

That's a fair point and I had not considered that

Maybe are right, but unless they release that information which I doubt they will; won't really know.

I thought MTS Pumpkin & Red Velvet were the 2 best on the market for those flavors...
Then Rule 1 came out with a Red Velvet & Pumpkin Spice that trumped them. Absolutely incredible ....

I have never had Rule 1 but now I feel I am greatly missing out if it is that good haha

The Pumpkin Spice is much stronger in spices, and has a pumpkin aftertaste. The Clove, Cinnamon, Nutmeg are strong right off first sip/bite (depending on how you mix) and the pumpkin puree is a great aftertaste.

The red velvet has a strong cream cheese mixture with the cocoa / red velvet flavor. How they combined both to compliment each other reminded me of the OG Red Velvet from Iforce which is GOAT

Damn man, I've been really wanting to try their Birthday Cake and Vanilla Butter Cake Flavors. Thanks for the input on these, truly appreciated. Where do you get the 4 serving tubs from? I love when companies do that like Animal and Quest so you can give something a shot before having to commit to something of such a larger size.

I also tried the Brownie flavor from Rule 1, absolutely fantastic. Very rich and dense flavored.

That vanilla butter cake has me pretty interested, as does that pumpkin spice. Will have to post this up when I get some.

never- i'm assuming you have? i've been considering buying a tub for years now and haven't pulled the trigger for whatever reason.

Yeah I honestly found it was decent. Like its not amazing, but for protein its decent considering it isn't made by XF, PES, or anything.

Review of Pumpkin spice tomorrow boys.
Ill post it in this thread for you:

Just a FYI ---> The spice is strong... the pumpkin flavor is good, but its more of an aftertaste because of how strong the cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger are. You get every aspect of a real pumpkin spices. It is very well rounded... Rule 1 crushed it. I PM'd both of you where to grab some.
