Did you ever have the OG Myofusion Vanilla? It was literally just like butterscotch. I miss it.

I checked Stop and Shop today for the pumpkin cereals and nutri grain bars. I did not see any.

Ok, so I have a backlog of more than 30+ pictures to get through, but we'll begin today. Now these will all be baked goods...why?

Because going out to eat here (for the savory things) is incredibly expensive. To give you an idea, a large sub + drink at Subway is $23 dollars. And since this country doesn't have many immigrants, no good ethnic cuisine translates to much more boring offerings.

From one of my first days here, so it's a supermarket version. Average honestly. They make these here with a custard type cream in between the fruit slices and the dough is soft. It's a fairly classic dessert so I might have to give a real bakery version another shot.

Haha thanks....I'll try to get a pick up of some of the donuts I picked up in Rochester and the burger I had.....no pics but also had some pop eyes and kfc

Ridge road donuts or something like that...voted best in Rochester...did not dossapoint... Large but still decently light.... Also had an apple stock which was like a cinnamon cake donut stock glazed and filled with apple amazing

Here comes the Heat! I found a bakery (M&M bakery) fairly close to my Hotel that was rated a 5 (20+ reviews) so took a shot on it. I walked in and was blown away by the selection. Server was super friendly and answered all my questions, gave me a free pignoli biscotti while I chose too.
Cupcakes are the real deal - the cake part resembles the actual flavour, not just plain choc or vanilla. They all have filling which is the only way I'll mess with cupcakes.

On a sugar rush I headed down to Rutgers to the R U Hungry food truck and grabbed a FAT Filipino - Philly cheesesteak + gyro meat + chicken fingers + mozzarella sticks + Freedom fries

Picked it up around the time a fella came out with a similarly flavored protein. Chocolate flakes and cream were nice but the cake part was too dry...and I hate dry cakes. Macros were on point tho...like 900 cals for the whole thing.

uhhhh yeahhh! everyday except Mondays cos they are closed on Mondays. I know this because I tried to go back and had to settle for inferior options :(
 
Let's stay focused...after a hard swing & miss on Dough closing in NYC before I could get there, I found a work around option. A coffee shop near Rutgers gets daily deliveries of 4 flavours (Hibiscus, chocolate, Cafe Au Lait & dulce de leche). They were out of the dulce :(

The 4 are all yeast donuts, but Dough donuts are almost like like a hybrid between your typical yeast & cake donut. Yet they are light and really good! More depressed I missed the NYC shop

Fok. These item finding quests can get annoying...can't remember how many times I checked dif supermarkets for the orange cream Captn Crunch...never found it.

...and I know that if I did, it would disappoint too...

Pumpkin spread salvation should be near tho as I assume TJ will bring out the Pumpkin Pie cookie butter again.

I have a unique advantage with all my travel in that I get to explore a myriad of stores in just a few weeks... In houston right now, will see atlanta on fri, SC on saturday ha.
