The AM community physique critique thread

Fasted HIIT CARDIO 7 days a week, eating just enough carbs to stay full (muscle wise) and starving during the day and training heavy and hard and loading on carbs post workout, slowly adding each week

How much did you bump our Cals up post show vs prep time?

Still looking great man. How lean did you have to get before you had good vascularity going, as well a having decent separation in the legs? You're about a pound lighter than me but blowing my physique out of the water!

I usually always have quad separation, even when bf is over 15%.

As far as vascularity, it's becoming more pronounced the older I get and harder I train. I could get down to 8% 10yrs ago and didn't have hardly any vascularity

Thanks for the info. My quad separation is coming along, I certainly wish my legs would lean out a little faster but progress is progress. I'm thinking I'm probably the same way as far as vascularity goes. I doubt I'm sub 10% BF right now, but I've dropped nearly 20lbs in my cut and I'm just barely starting to see some on my quads and shoulders.

I'd kill for quad separation... I can be singel digits and still have barely any unless fully pumped and flexed. Chest is my other fat spot...Meanwhile i'll have shoulder striations before any abs

From today. Weight hasn't changed since last week, 25gr carb bump

Man, i'm already jealous of your width... I have thickness but width has always been a struggle. wide grip on everything and its just so so slow

Just been lifting heavy man, basic a $$ b!tch zhit. Bent over smith rows, weight pulls ups, rack deads and shrugs. 4-5 sets 10-15 reps. Width day starts with straight arm pull downs and thickness day starts with face pulls. Focusing on the stretch for width movement.

Pendlay Rows have helped with thickness in my back, dunno if you do them already or what but they seem to bring up the middle back thickness for me.

Disregard...you're wanting more width. Straight arm pulldowns work for me too, but DW already stated that.

What rep range and all you using for them pendlay rows ? Slow and controlled or going more explosive also . I have a hard time going too heavy with those bein bent over that far with my lower back . I love the feel of a mid back pump though and want that thickness I usually alternate on those and regular bent over rows

I go fairly heavy on them, I'll do straight sets of 225 until I feel that I worked that part of the back enough. I tend to prefer slow and controlled, but once I start getting fatigued form will change. Even once I'm hitting that wall I'll still try and manage to pause at the top and control the negative.

Me or the dude that deleted his post of his wiener hanging out?

You....his weiner isn't hanging out.....unless that is what you are focusing on.........

No you missed it. Some dude posted pictures butt naked with his bare ass and then front shots with a half ass attempt to cover his wiener. He deleted his post shortly after I posted that. Sorry for the confusion. Dude above looks great.

Thanks bro, since being on AM i've made some quality gains this year.

Just being more consistent or the amount of info that is out there?

Both and also finding out about the good supplement companies out there like OL etc. Used to always buy off BB.com so this year i decided to manly run OL for my staple supps and its paying off. Tons of info on here and great advice from other members like smith_69 MrKleen73 booneman77 Burnfire Jebrook GNO xtyler and a few other great sources
