What do you mean by higher? As in the leucine content is exponentially higher than the other two?

Leucine is at a higher ratio, sorry I should have specified or that made no sense

Saw your edit, yes

The 4:1:1 was noted in the write up to serve as a now studied example that the ratio works the exact same higher, so we went all the way up to hit that 5g

I think you can voice an opinion without bashing though. The marketing behind the Amino IV initially was so good that it convinced you that you needed HICA, when in reality the EAA would have been plenty anti-catabolic anyway (not that muscle catabolism is really that big a deal in the first place), so its exclusion is not that big a deal.

The Betaine is arguable, but its inclusion in an intra workout where GI distress is definitely not wanted makes it removal less of an issue IMO.

Personally, I think the argument that the ingredients can be found in another product is a little weak as it implies people will want to/ can afford to/ need to buy both to get full benefits, but you can argue it from a cost perspective instead or even simply getting it to better fit in the category. That's my thoughts.

The changes don't bother me as I would buy it strictly for the EAAs - the others were just an added bonus.
 
My only question is what's the new price point? That's really the deciding factor (at least for me) as to whether the changes are ok or not. At the right competitive price, it's totally fine. If it's still gonna be >$1 per serving then it's not simply due to competitive products (in the same, new, eaa only category) being cheaper

Okay, just going to put this out here right now as fair warning -- feel free to criticize; no one is suggesting everyone aimlessly follow and accept companies or products. That said -- enough of the name-calling and childish behavior. I'd prefer to not see people start getting banned and I'd prefer not seeing the direction of this thread continue downhill.

I believe Jiigzz made a very solid point in that one can question or criticize without being rude about it. Boone also brought up a valid point.

I love Alphamine, a few flavors of Select, and E9 -- I have purchased one tub of AIV over all the years and I didn't purchase again because I wasn't a huge fan of it. So you won't see any fake love coming from me. Point being, you can certainly choose not to like a change or purchase a product, but let's be adults.

I think Damon Johns said it best on Shark Tank. He would do anything possible to have his products in Walmart. Most people, especially clothing line would be like ewww Walmart? However the POs generated by a retailer that large, is game changing.

If PES, who has brought some novel ingredients out, changes a few products to sell in large retailers VS, GNC, etc.. I have no problem with that, because the working capital generated should lead to more novel products and R & D
 
There's a difference between disagreeing with a product and the direction it's going and acting like a child who can't have candy at a grocery store check out line. I don't think the former would get deleted.

Wow, I hadn't checked this in a while. So much fighting. I loved Amino IV. It is a good product and still looks like a good eaa product. Maybe a third product which combined things would have avoided issues, but how many products can a company have?

You gotta go in a direction, and if a direction has a financial incentive ...I wouldn't fault anyone for doing that even if it took away something I liked.
 
What's the best way to find out about supplement sales on different websites? I'm planning on running two bottles of ABE for the first time in about 8 weeks and just trying to find the best deal - especially due to the USD/CAD conversion right now. Should I just keep looking at all the websites periodically or is there a place on this website where deals like this are announced? Thanks.

BTW, just order one bottle of Shift and Erase to finish up this cut - my first fat burner/AI and first PES products so I am stoked!

It is true.

We have a lot lined up (emphasis on A LOT lol).

So much so I am not even sure of the launch schedule. As soon as we finalise it I will start dropping some hints. :)
