Just finished 42 day cycle (2 bottles) of x gels and yet to see any results? After hearing such raving reviews, I was surprised. Anyone else had the same problem? Possible non-responder

Wasn't aware of the ARA guide mate. Dosed at 5 caps a day. Was on a bulk at around 3500 calories a day and saw no real additional strength increase. The doms also weren't there which definitely indicated to me that I was unresponsive
Did you cut out fish oil?

There is the chance that depending on what you eat you MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT be getting sufficient ARA in your diet to support your training. Do you eat dozens of eggs everyday?

It is due to the dose.
My friend felt same, but when he ran 2.5g daily then he experienced sick pumps, musclefullness, strength gains ++.
2.5g would require 2 bottles for a 20 day cycle lol seems excessive
As said above, I think all the omega 3's you were having (possibly even around ArA) were probably competing for it's metabolism which lessened it's effects....plus you were only dosing at 1.25g (5 gels). I'm not a person who mega-doses stuff, but that "normal" dose combined with all the omega 3's probably made ArA useless for you.
I'll try cutting out excess omega 3's including fish oil for another 20 day cycle kept at the same 1.25g dosing and let everyone know how it went
That seems to be the case most often with compounds that need conversion. ArA is not like PA that directly activates mTOR.

This is actually not true. You need to remember one most important thing. The tolerance. I know many people who felt HUGE difference from 1.5g ArA and 2.5 ArA.
If you know howhow ArA works on prostaglandins/COX->proteinsynthesis etc. You will understand how important a right dose is
This is just me but that much ArA would give me a massive headache.
I do believe you and we respons differently to it.
Me, I felt sick on ArA. 1.5g (Flu symptoms)Lethargy/fatigue, felt in my whole body, increased BP +++. That is due to systemic inflammation.
Other I know dosed 2.5g and got amazing results and little to no sides at all
I got no pump on ArA. It is possible that the inflammation killed my insulin sensitivity. Pumps came back a week after I ceased use.
just finished my first bottle of xgels..basically taking 4 pills 4 x a week 5 min before I workout and I am loving it..I feel full all the time even when I wake up and I am still only halfway through...i love it.
Danes, Gains aside did you ever notice anything pump wise from ARA? Used ARA myself but with allot of other pump ingredients so couldent tell if ARA contributed.
It seems like we're past this but I still have a question regarding ara and fish oils. Ran two bottles of xgels and didn't see much (1g and took fish oil, dumb I now know). Have we agreed that you can't take both if you dose fish oil in am (8am~) and lift late (5pm-7pm) and see benefits? I'm not above dropping fish oil, but would love to have both on my next go.

Just dose far away from each other. Up your ArA dose to 1.5 grams.
Was definitely going to do that after seeing everyone else bump their doses up! How long between 50 day sets do I need to wait before going back to it? Thanks
At 1.5g pre workout with a typical pre workout meal (about 60g of carbs) i always had very good pumps. The ArA was noticeable in increasing vascularity and pump. 1g i didn't see much pump-wise. 2g sometimes was uncomfortable.
