I'm surprised you guys are so bothered by the granules, the mild taste to me isn't bothersome.

BCAA powder on the other hand, I need citrulline just to mask the taste.
 
What's the rave about lecithin granules? What effect does it have? Is this for preworkout? Some one fill me in thanks

Coming up on 4 weeks. I don't mind the taste, and my muscles love it. I think I might go eat some right now actually ... mmmm those silky oily little beads of anabolism

Flavor was kinda good at first, but has kinda gotten old for me. Still down a couple tbsp preworkout though!

Honestly if it keeps making my muscles grow they could make it 4 day old sh** flavored (still probably taste better than BCAAs lol).

Leaning out while maintaining muscle fullness. Endurance is still on point (more reps/sets).
 
I'm on my 12 tin of fearn and just chug it each morning. No big deal

I've easily gone thru 18+ but you're not far behind. I liked it up till about tub 12-14ish.

But it will have that + a lot of other goodies. Like I said, it'll be an ergogenic powerhouse.

Seriously though: Muscle fullness, mild strength increase, increased appetite, good source of choline.

Makes my pump from the gym last all day instead of fading in an hour.

Fearn and Optima are the two "go to" brands right now, with Fearn taking the top spot.

I go to my local natural food store and they have it in the bull section with their spices. It's like $7/lb and I just nabbed $6 worth yesterday.

Local is nice cause you can just get a bit to try it and no shipping times means instant gratification!
 
im using optima and have a **** ton of sunflower lecithin from another brand that i got for way cheap from someone as well.

i love the taste of the stuff!

seeing that im on keto (and that soy lecithin amongst its many benefits with regards to whats being discusssed here is also a fat emulsifier/aids in fat digestion) would it be ok to take like 4 tablespoons (30g) a day? i eat between 300-400g of fat daily on keto, so i guess i need more as its all relative?

i grind the granules up into a fine powder and either sprinkle it on food or eat it by the spoonful. and since its basically all fat it would fit in well into my macros.

what do you guys think? anyone take more than the two tablespoon standard and notice added strength benefits as well? or would there be side effects?

I've gone as high as 7-8 tbsp daily. No sides for me.

I feel the best range is 4-5 tbsp though.

2-4 tablespoon per day.

Either all dosed pre-workout or split dose (pre-workout and post-workout or with a fatty meal)

And IIRC Wilson's study dosed something like 450mg Mediator PA pre-workout, and 300mg post - or something like that. So 2-4 Tbs is a good sweet spot.

Could always start at 2 and work your way up to 4.

Two Tbs, allowing for variance from the label for PA content, should still get you the 750mg used in the study. To be extra sure, 3Tbs definitely would.

Does not need to be taken with food.

No additional benefit was seen when taken with protein shakes in a subsequent study, so spacing out from your whey MAY yield greater benefits in some aspects.
 
I'm so curious.. How come 25grams have 183kcal with 0p 1.7c and 13.3f?
Should be 120kcal from fat and a couple from carbs.. Where are those extra 60kcal from?
 
so is the general consensus that if one were taking phospha muscle it should be double dosed? Should I even try the recommended dose first or not even waste my time? Im eventually going to switch to the granules but im recently coming off of a contest prep and cant afford the fat macs for the time being.

1. Stomach issues due to SL
2. hate the long lasting strong Aftertaste
3. Higher dose SL=more fat
4. Caps are easier while traveling

But yes, SL is still a wonderfull PA source and I do recommend it
 
I have a question,
did someone drop the fat from your diet, to make room soy lecithin?

You certainly want to count the fat macros in SL in your daily caloric intake.

So with that in mind you may need to make adjustments.

I switched to good n natural 95% soy lecithin and there is a noticeable difference in muscle fullness and a slight strength dip from fearns granules. Can a few % really make a difference?

We are not sure if its just few % .
Maybe Good n Natural Soy lecithin is less than 95%
 
well, just take an extra teaspoon or something then.

it could also be that g 'n n has less fat? maybe thats why you arent feeling as full on this one.

also, i suggest you dont take them by the tablespoon/volume but by weight, as the volume can vary from brand to brand, so you might be getting less now compared to when you were taking fearn.

i grind them up into a powder in the coffee grinder and either eat them as is or sprinkled on eggs, salad, chicken or whatever. love their taste. i also take them with my fish oil and fatty supps like ps, tocomin vitamin e, tudca etc for enhancing absorption.
