Well, after seeing Grinnell's bench routine and talking about the torture my preacher used to put me through, I decided to torture myself tonight with high reps and no rest except to add or subtract weight. Flat bench was the only lift tonight. Chest is so freakin' pumped, I can't touch my shoulders.

Lol! Welcome to parenthood. It'll get better. Enjoy this time while you can because they grow so fast. I really miss having the time with my daughter where she would fall asleep on my chest.

I find rolling my next on a lacrosse or tennis ball really helps loosen the neck... Also take ibuprofen and move it around little by little while inflammation is down... normally bounce back after 1-2days :)

Lacrosse balls are actually a great tool for recovery. Learned how to use one a lot of different ways during physio

Got commissioned to smoke for another birthday party. 6 butts and 5 racks of ribs. Just finished getting everything ready for the morning. At least tomorrow I will be doing the smoking at my house so I can also get some other stuff done too. Along with the lifting session I missed tonight because of all the prep work. Made another pull-out rack for the new smoker so I can have ribs on top and pork shoulders/butt down closer to the heat.

Focused strictly on Romanian deads tonight. Took about a 5 minute break between sets. Got a few new PRs too!!! Now, I realize that the Romanian deads aren't the same as doing a full dead but hey, they're good for getting used to the weight and still building muscle.

Felt really good tonight and had a good adrenaline kick going from some anger I had about some remodeling issues with my house. Just went in the weight room and wanted to lift heavy. As easy as the 420 went up, I decided to keep going heavier. I figured 510 would be a good finisher but after that went up so well, I wanted more. 530 was closer to being good and I almost repped it but decided to go even heavier. I thought, "Shoot, 600 is a nice round number! Why not?!?!" Whatdaya know, it went up!! My daughter yelled at me from the other room that I was scaring her with my yelling. She said I sounded like the Hulk when he was very mad! Lol!! I felt like the Hulk! Now, I just feel sore.

My ghost at home got me again last night. I walked into the weight room and sit down on my bench. I'm looking at my log book and going over a few things when all of a sudden, a full case of florescent light bulbs just falls over several of the bulbs explode upon hitting the concrete floor. The case had been there for over 2 months in the same spot and now it decides to fall over?? Anyways, spent the next 30 minutes trying to clean up all the tiny pieces of glass that were EVERYWHERE in the weight room. I was not very impressed!
 
If it's ok with BPS and the gang, I would like to add in some MacaPro to the mix to see how that combo does.

I think that would be ok :D but damn man, your luck has been terrible lately! good news is nobody else was down there or running through that could have possibly stepped on top of some of the broken glass!

Ya know, with the few things that haven't been ideal, there's been more good and for that, I still feel very blessed. I know that I am not the one in control of it all and so I trust in His judgment.
 
Man, fluorescent clean up is crazy lol if i drop a bulb, I immediately get ticked off because I know the clean up will be longer than I like because of the way the bulb dust floats and scatters
 
Been noticing that my nips are starting to get itchy. Think I will not use the chest area in my application area rotation for the remainder of the log and see if it goes away.

Is lax the only thing you're using besides the maca (that you may or may not have started yet)?
 
Lax is the only thing. Started the Maca last night but the itchy was before that. Not thinking it's gyno at all just maybe a mild reaction to the Lax/ carrier. No issues on any of the other sites so I'll just avoid the chest for now.
 
When did you start the creatine and how do you differentiate the positive effects between that and laxo?

Creatine is something that I take on a regular basis and have been for around 10 years. Off and on for 11 years prior to that. I am also well versed in supplements and how certain ones affect me. I can say without a doubt that the lax is behind what I am noticing.
 
Sorry for the lack of updates the past few days. Had my hours change at work and been burning the candle at both ends.

So, on to the update:

Recovery is still awesome with not having any real soreness after hitting the weights hard.

As noted before, right nip started started to itch rather bad and chest started to as well. Stopped applying to the chest and after a few days, the itching is all but gone. Still there a minor bit but no where near what it was.

Strength seems to still be on the rise as my max bench went up to 360 lbs as of Thursday. I am now officially benching right at double my body weight. It was very shaky and probably didn't look too pretty but it went up and I was unharmed. Lol!!

The leaning effect has seemed to trail off a bit but my shorts are still fitting looser than normal and weight has not changed. Been burning a lot of energy at work and working on my house after work so I should have adjusted my caloric intake but I left it the same. So, I have remained the same weight but did have some recomp action go on.

I have stayed at the 2 mL/ day dose for most of this run and am now thinking of bumping to 3 as I am curious to see if there is a noticeable difference or not. I also started MacaPro a few days ago as well but have yet to notice any effect there.
 
hell of a review my man! excited to see what the tail end of this run brings you! have you noticed any more of the increased sweating/thermogenic properties others were experiencing?

Yes, I have been sweating like a long tail cat in a rocking chair factory, a whore in church, a cat/dog in a Vietnamese village, a..........well, you get the idea. Lol!
