Yeah better than it was last night. Might be some impingement. Gonna try to get in for some deep tissue work today or tomorrow.

Yeah with it locking up suddenly sounds like might be a trigger point buggered up!
 
Got some deep tissue and electro stim work done today. Need to rest up. Tomorrow is heavy squat day
 
Shoulder diagnosis is bursitis. Severe inflammation of the shoulder capsule. Bunch of advil and some rehab and I'll be good to go.

Was able to get under the squat bar tonight. Forgot my knee sleeves so I used the light red wraps from elitefts. I'm a cheater now.

Felt pretty good. Moved pretty well but the bands definitely helped.

535 in the meet? Perhaps. Coach says 550 but I'm skeptical of that kind of weight yet.
 
No less than 535 IMO. I'll hit my 3rd attempts from a reverse orange a couple weeks out and you had a good double there.
 
No need to be skeptical, it is a great target to shoot for after you crush the 535!

Thanks guys. I guess I'm just unsure of myself. Heaviest squat so far is 515 x2 so I'm not sure where that puts me. I'll look for 540-550 come meet day based on how the second attempt feels.

You'll get different philosophies on this, but I approach training like I did sparring. Yes, you can redline it in the gym, but what do you really gain out of it? Training is practice and honing the craft to prepare yourself for the platform, which is where it really counts. 515x2 in the gym would translate to somewhere in the 560s for me.

I agree with that. I have always been conservative with attempts and weight selection. I'm planning on 525 second attempt for a 10 lb pr and go from there for a 3rd. If it's easy then 550 if it's hard then 535 to 540.

Fluff and buff day. Just did arms.

Took some mst athlytes atp and some carnage for a preworkout. Had a great pump and some nice vascularity. Felt good to get the blood flowing.

Weight was about 275 today.

Light weight all this week... probably wont post it because its boring. Weigh in on Friday. Meet day on Saturday. Here we go!

Looking for 350 / 385 / 405 at the meet.

Very similar to mine. I took a conservative jump to 374 second and when it moved better than 352, I took 402. Could possibly have pressed 407-413. We'll never know.

385 will be a 5 lb pr. Then going big for somewhere around 400. I'm going conservative and focusing on the total first so well see how the second moves.
