EvoMuse Presents: Epitome™

Thanks for the link.

BRITE is one I was super excited about once Matt mentioned it the first time. I also really like the line of fat-burning products being mostly non-stim based allowing maximum stackability with what you're already doing/using. I'm planning to rock BRITE v2 once it's ready to roll.

V1 was terrifying lol. Hoping v2 is nothing like it.

I made it through 2 bottles of the original, it worked well, except for the GI issues, Im hoping it was the Tung oil and its all cleared up now, Im going to add it to my protocol now, excited for big things

Whoa your tuff lol. No way I could handle the gi issues and the nauseous it gave.

Yea I believe Matt said he lowered or eliminated it. Not sure. Hopefully it doesn't give those issues because I'm sure it's amazing

I contacted some of the original users that could barely make it through 1/3 of a bottle, which would be the most sensitive. I had them test for about 6-7 days, and there was no negative reaction at all.

I ran it a bit longer, until the BMSO ran out (about 2 weeks ) and noticed nothing at all. No bloating, no nausea, no loose stool, no rectal bleeding, no anal fustula, no sex, no drugs, no wine, no women, no parking, and absolutely NO liquor sales on Sunday.

All good...except the no wine part.

I placed an order for the new beta v2 brite. Made it 2-3 days on the original, nearly **** myself in court and was in extreme pain...hoping this won't make me piss out of my ass.

In court?

Can I ask why you were there? (just curious, because I've only been in once and it was defending a driving ticket, but I can see so much amusement if I'd have to have dealt with it in my own case)

Just as a heads up for anyone interested. I'd planned on stopping Epitome, but decided to finish out my 2nd bottle (still have a few days left). I'd started dosing 1 cap pre-bed and noticed a decline in the cravings. The past few nights I've dosed 2 caps (together) pre-bed and still have no cravings and if anything, it's lessened them a tad bit more, even.

I generally follow IF and only eat between Noon and 8 PM (not super strict on that in terms of an extra half hour here and there), and I'd been feeling much hungrier than normal in the mornings. That's gone back away, now. Still notice the benefits of increased vascularity and such, too.

I wonder if there is anything to be careful of with AMPK activation pre-bed though.

It will affect sleep protein synthesis, but fear not...Rebirth will be here in about 3 weeks.

I'm a lawyer, clients don't trust a person who can't control their bowels

Throw the book at him...oh, and throw him a roll of Cottonelle while you're at it.

What are your thoughts on the inhibitory potential on CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 with the Orthosiphon stamineus and possible effects on the metabolism of prescription drugs?

Sounds like a good question for your doctor, as is always the case when combining supplements and prescription drugs

Yeah. Matt may be able to answer better, but it is not really in our place to make recommendations regarding our stuff and prescription drugs. Way too many potential variables to answer correctly. I haven't noticed ANY changes with the prescription drug I take, but please don't think that means your results won't be different!

No, it really doesn't sound like a good question for my doctor, but thanks for your useless contribution.
Matt and many of these guys here have done much more research and have greater understanding of the mechanics of these compounds than most any M.D. the average person will see.

I agree with the points you make 100%, but would like to get further info so I can make my own best informed decision.
If everybody waited for their doctor to o.k. their supplement intake outside a few common vitamins, the supplement industry could go ahead and shut down.

I understand. This is going to have to be something that the creator of the product chimes in on if he wants to. I hope you understand that supplement companies are in a lose-lose situation when it comes to questions like yours. I will let Matt chime in if he can and will direct him to the thread. What are you taking?

No... I used to work for a supplement company, we were not allowed to give any advice about supplements + drugs because legally it would constitute medical advice, something an unlicensed individual can't provide. I have no doubt whatsoever that Matt & crew have a better understanding of these supplements than many doctors, but the laws are what they are.

The answers that have been posted are 100% accurate. Generally, if there is a significant indication that there might be any interaction with any of my products, enough to warrant concern, I will post it in the writeup. Any absence of mention is usually enough to indicate that, IMO, concern is unwarranted or not strong enough to cause worry.

If something interacts with enzymes that are involved in drug metabolisim, then avoid it.

You question is kinda pointless without knowing which drug exactly since different drugs use those enzymes differently in addittion to having different half life's which will effect any potential timing scenerios.

Your best bet, if a supplement inhibits an enzyme that is used in the metabolisim of one your your prescription drugs, then don't take it.

The others are correct, no one can really answer your question as it would make them liable. Furthermore any answer provided would be mostly conjecture since some drug metabolisms are rather complicated and without trials testing if an interaction exist, it would just be guesses.

Going round two with Epitome starting today. Will dose glucosamine at 1g with each serving and dose with PES Shift for appetite suppression.

Stay tuned folks.

I have ordered a few things specifically with you in mind. I'm going to attempt a quick BASIC version that I can hopefully send over to you in the next couple of weeks. This will be tough, because one of the ingredients has an Umami characteristic that might prove rough to flavor.

Thanks Matt for the response. I understand what you are saying and will proceed accordingly.

Awesome! looking forward to it.

I used to not be able to take Alphamine because of the yohimbe giving me anxiety.

Ever since I started taking Epitome, it doesnt do that anymore! I don't know what it is but I like it!

so is it ok to take EPITOME pre bed?

I believe it will interfere with protein synthesis pre-bed. If you do dose pre-bed, Strive would be a good addition.

thanks brother. I've been gone for a bit so please educate me as to who makes Strive?

Strafe is the product he is recommending to increase protein synthesis during sleep.

so I usually workout at 630am. what time should I take my first and second dose of epitome?

I hit the gym around 5:30am...taking my first epitome around 9:30am...2nd around 3:30/4pm...fwiw...I believe taking it a couple hours away from working out is the general guideline...

Lol my bad on the name :)

I had Strive on my potential product name list years ago. Someone else ended up using for their product.

Ordered some AMMO and got it today. Round 2 with epitome and ammo underway. I'm at a high BF like 26% or so and stalled out after 1 week in. My hunger was just uncontrollable after that first week. I'm taking something else to suppress it this time. If I see anything from this combo I'll let you know.

I'm on my last week and to be honest, all I got from it was a big appetite and my arms look a bit leaner.

Not sure what to think of it. Might need another bottle to evaluate it a bit more

Have you been able to stay in your calorie range or has appetite been ridiculous?
