Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was great! Got to go on a little date night with hubby on Friday. The kids games were cancelled on Saturday so we got to sleep in until 10! Cleaned house and had some friends over for dinner. Then, Sunday we had church and wedding showers! Nice and busy but all good stuff!

I had a great workout this morning! I switched it back up to the original order today. Mentally struggled a bit this morning on the way but once I got there and got going, it was all good!

This. Everyone is nervous before EVERY fight. It's a rush no matter how many times you've done it. It's all about how you use the adrenaline and then just getting that first hit out of the way

don't stop being scared. I see being scared as showing respect for not just my opponent but the sport itself. We both chose a very practical and effective art. That is why muay thai strikers are feared worldwide. Believe you are doing exactly what your coach feels is necessary to ensure you are successful. Sucess doesn't come from winning in our sport it comes from being scared and still putting in that mouth guard lacing up your gloves and stepping through the ropes

Yah right now I do a Friday night carb up then sleep for about 9 to 10 hours which is a lot for an old fugger like me. I blow all my energy on training. I have a hard six months till my next show.
