That's 5lbs since Monday. I believe I need to add some carbs in. Last week was hectic so all I was eating and was protein (chicken fish beef)and veggies.
 
Cardio this morning.

Stair climber 15 mins. 54 floors.
Elliptical 12 Mins. 1 mile
 
No cardio tonight and none in the morning. I have to be at work at 5 a.m. and work unit 1 p.m. So I probably won't even go to the gym until tomorrow evening.
 
Yah a lot of people don't understand that getting ready for a comp and holding down a job can be hell...

Your coming down in weight and I'm going up I'm up about 4.5 lbs in 9 days

I was 160-165 for years!! Didn't think I would ever hit 200. FInally over the last 1 1/2 I started climbing. My heaviest weight is 212, but like you said I was carb loaded and bloated. I won't get that heavy again unless it is a lot lower body fat.

Absolutely, I am shooting for 200 contest weight this year but 190 had me pretty damn big in 2013.

You can make it as hard as you are pushing it!!
 
Sorry guys I haven't updated lately. I have some issues from straining so hard, without giving to much info ;) so I didn't do legs yesterday, instead did chest and bis. Not sure what I will do tonight. I will update later.


Also Mixedup said it was a Mind **** prepping? IT has been here lately. Dropping the weight I did last week affected my strength in the gym. It is the first time I have noticed a strength loss and it SUCKS!!
 
Yesterday was kind of an average day chest and bis. No PR's,worked with the same weights as last week.

Today I decided to do shoulders and tris and actually came up a little on some weights.


Shoulders and tris

Shoulder press-
60's x 10
65's 2 x 10
70's x 8


Front DB raises-
35's 3 x 8

Upright rows-
70 4 x 10

Side lateral raises- 30 sec rest
25's 4 x 8

Bent over rear delts-

Not to bad a workout today. I've been really tired lately for some reason? Had to start letro so that is probably part of it, that stuff can be nasty.

Ok so I did 10 mins stair climber last night. Came to the gym to do cardio this morning and weighed in first. Not sure what's going on but I'm 185. Down 4lbs from Sunday !!??. Before I couldn't lose weight now I'm losing to quick!!!

Your body might have got below it set point I have a weight where it is very hard for me to budge but as soon as I get below that weight I can she'd weight like crazy

Your body might have got below it set point I have a weight where it is very hard for me to budge but as soon as I get below that weight I can she'd weight like crazy

It's possible, it is dropping like crazy now!!

Nah, I have been on letro for two weeks so I am sure I am not holding water ;) I am tapering off of it now though.
 
No gym or cardio tonight. My son's real mom came into town tonight to see him, so I spent the evening at the bowling alley watching them bowl and then ate suppper (separetly of course).
I have tomorrow off so I am revising my diet and will be able to get some cardio and lifting in..

An off day never hurt anyone, especially when you have been training as hard as you have! What sort of diet revisions are you thinking of making?

Protein should be higher yes and plenty of BCAA's pre, during and after workouts you can take them first thing in the morning and before bed too.

Ya I do fasted cardio in the mornings so I have some BCAA's before I leave to the gym. I also drink some during my workout, 10g both times. As for my diet I am going to add in more protein , When I get it done I will give you guys an idea of what an average day looks like,
 
You know how uncomfortable it is to wear a pair of jeans that are about 3 sizes to big?? Even with a belt it drives me crazy! I bought bigger jeans last fall because I couldn't wear the ones i had. With a belt i was on the first notch. Now I am on the fourth with a tad bit of play! :(

I know the feeling I had to put a hole in my belt because my waist has gone down like 7 or 8 inches
 
Aw yah but it just rocks to wear a pair of jeans that hang on your hips and you are sporting an awesome mid section.

Decent workout. Hams were pretty tight and seemed to stay that way.
Going out for dinner tonight with my wife and her sister and boyfriend. So may have a drink or two. I am down quite a bit this week ;)
 
Ok revised diet. Added in a few protein shakes and going to stay at about 150 carbs a day for a few weeks and see what happens. From the scales I have lost at least five lbs again. I will know for sure when I weigh in Monday morning.

1 cup egg whites, 3 whole eggs, protein shake 2 scoops

4oz turkey burger, 4 oz deer burger, 1 cup broccoli

8oz chicken, 8oz sweet potato

8oz tilapia, salad with vinergirette dressing

2 tbs peanut butter, protein shake (2 scoops)

73.9 Fats
141.0 Carbs
327.7 Protien

That's is right about maintenance for me I believe.
I think that is below your maint once you figure in the added cardio you've been doing.

I will be glad to get some carbs in me, either that or I will start using a pre-workout. I have had a hard time making it through my last few workouts. Strength and endurance seems to be dropping to fast and I still have 8 weeks to go...

I did finish up with my routine, I still have a few little tweaks and have to get my timing right, but i think it'll work.
 
I think that is below your maint once you figure in the added cardio you've been doing.

May be, I would have to figure it up again. I know I am dropping way to fast!!
 
Got a question for you guys that weigh your food. May sound stupid but do you weigh it before you cook it or after?
 
after. There's a lot of water in everything to make it heavier and more expensive

That's when I do to, but I had heard of people doing it before so I was just curios as to why someone would before.
